Very poor chat service. Even if you call to customer care number they will ask you to chat with them through app which is ridiculous. Sometimes it takes hours to reply to messages.

Closed my account with £1250 in it 2 days before Xmas and messaged me to say would take 2-4 weeks to return money to me. NO WORKING TELEPHONE NUMBER AND NO REPLY ON THE CHAT. I WILL BE COMPLAINING TO THE FCA. How these muppets have a FCA banking license but zero option for customer support is beyond me. I will be sticking with my “normal” bank from now on.

Been a Monzo user since 2016 and to be honest I'm struggling to understand why the big high Street banks apps aren't even half as functional as Monzo. Highly recommended. Hopefully startup banks like Monzo will force the big banks to start innovating and putting the customer first again.

Worst ever bank phone lines never work they freeze your money randomly for upto 4 weeks useless bank they will trail along its a con have loads of freinds that have been experiencing issues avoid trouble by avoiding monzo

I cant be more dissapointed about the app and most importantly customer support? I’ve had problems with this card while traveling and had important requests when I saw unrecognised transactions on my account. The customer support response takes AGES. One person responds, they don’t stay on the line and connect you with another person and so you are in a vicious circle and maybe end up resolving the issue in the next 100 years. Now it’s been taking 3 days for them to close my account and confirm my identity. Compared to Revolut, this app is a useless sh-t. If you travel a lot, don’t waste your time and energy and don’t ever make an account with them.
