Getting better, however, needs a make over and larger space for a main Head Branch in the UK. Example like their rival Victoria Mutual in Brixton, but larger, as it is the main National Bank of Jamaica. ( Make us Proud and comfortable ). Wait time could be shorter, not even staff, to give personal good service for a number of clients at the same time. As the saying, look after your clients and they will look after you. One love

I had to call a million times before I got through to a customer service advisor. I was told to go to elephant n Castle branch to sort out issues, when I got there I was informed they only deal with money transfers and that I needed to go to Brixton as the head office had moved there. They don't deserve one star.

This is Crazy I have calling this phone number from January, and no one answering me I have close down my account because they lockdown my online account, and they say I will get a Check in a months time, I ask when exactly they told me end of March 2020, up till today 14 May 2020, I still see no check come to me, very disgusting I need my money now and I can’t get my money, the worst bank in history. I will never ever let my enemy Join this bank. Next move I will take them to court for my hard working money, and I only give 1 star because no option to give 0 stars.

*TIME IS MONEY* Oh dear, I was about to open an account but I see the service continues to decline. I've been to this bank before, you need a packed lunch whilst waiting; there's enough time to write your memoirs or knit a scarf - if the seats aren't all taken up. Come on guys are you just going to let the bank go down like this and blame fake reviews - you're not President Trump. YOU CAN do better if only you could BE BOTHERED, where's the passion / pride for what you do? We truly want to support you, but at this rate, I'd rather bank with the Flintstones.

I would like to give zero stars, your telephone service is beyond belief, its automated and that's it. No one answers and I have been ringing your 0800 and 0207 numbers for 3 days and have given up. So I now have to make the 1 hour plus journey to your Elephant and Castle office.

I only gave one star because I couldn’t give none. Terrible service. I closed my account and month later after finally getting through to someone I was informed that there was no paperwork submitted to close the account. No one answers the phone or replies to emails. I rather keep my money in the UK where I’m covered by laws and regulations. So much for trying to support our own when they don’t know how to run business.

The telephone system is shocking! I've been trying to speak to a representative from the 27-2-2020 to 02-03-2020 and on each occasion the phone goes to what appears to be an automated system ( No voice recording) and then get disconnected after about 3-4mins. I would strongly urge exces in Jamaica to get a grip of their UK operation, especially in light of acquiring a UK banking license. JNBS must understand the days of trading purely on patriotic sentiment is diminishing quite quickly . The company will only be judged on the quality of their offerings, coupled with good customer experience and success. Please take my foolish advice and create a high quality customer success team to better engage with customers.

Dear Jamaica National During the current lockdown with Covid 19, your numbers to contact customer service from the UK is appalling. I have emailed to no avail, as I am locked out of my JNLive online accounts, can you improve your customer communication choices during this Covid 19, as travelling to your UK branch is impossible, as I need to send or transfer money to relatives in Jamaica, who are struggling to cope under the current situation.

JNBS is a real joke, the published contact number has not been operational since summer/autumn 2019, and I have emailed the office on three occasions but no response. In order to go to the office to sort out my account enquires it’s a day off work when you take into account travel and wating time. I have only been able to contact the Jamaica service by way of international calls. As soon as I can find an alternative banking arrangement, I’m going to close my account.

Rubbish...The phone numbers don't work plus god knows how long I have to queue up before I can be seen. For some reason I didn't expect better...terrible service. I use to use Barclays to send money to Jamaica for free..Now I have to do it the hard way since Barclays don't deal with Jamaican banks anymore..This bank can't be independent because there system doesn't work.

Most staff quite helpful. Awful waiting time though plan to be here for at least an hour. Also had to chase up paperwork submitted 3 times...would go to another place if I could. Really don't like going here..plus ringing the main 0800 number is a joke no one answers and sounds like you're calling abroad. Therefore always have to go in branch as have never spoken to anyone when called main 0800 number. Very very disappointed with this company

Where do I start this well this is the worst system I come across for a very long time. I rang the number it give options but that’s it. this mechanical sounding voice, which just have you going round and round until you get fed up and hang up, which is what I did. This is a very poor service from JN.

A complete and utter waste of time. honestly if you're unemployed have nothing to do during the day then the complete lack of regard for people's time won't bother you. Went in to provide documents that apparently were outstanding. It took over 1.5 hours I literally sat waiting for 1.20 mins then it took 10 mins to take copies of my documents. they shouldn't be operating in the UK if they cannot keep up with yhe efficiency. Going into the branch in elephant and castle your transported to Jamaica where the customer service and efficiency doesn't matter. it's a complete joke

Worst building society in the Caribbean. They should start closing them down. They are so slow in doing what they should and having the main building in Jamaica even make it worst. This should have been a bank that Jamaicans can be proud of but seriously it as if they are going backwards. I know they are new changes but it does not make a big difference. To succeed in a business they need to know what to do. and they clearly do not. Get your act together Jamaica National.

I so HATE coming to this place. How can you have over 6 people in there, approximately 6 desks, 5 occupied and only 3 people actually seeing customers? How does that work. Also, the wait time is beyond a joke. If you're going there for business & can wait until you go overseas, then wait.

None of the numbers work as you only wait on the line for ages and then you're asked to press a digit that gets you nowhere but back to the automated operate. The lines in Jamaica says the numbers are not working not even the toll free number

I would rate zero if I could unbelievably slow service with the audacity to close before 5pm. Inappropriate forms for under 18s just be pre pared to spend minimum 1 hour even then you might not sort out your account. You can't open accounts for other products their you have to apply abroad. The office is pointless when majority member benefits can only be applied and accessed in Jamaica.

I resently visited jamaica for a few months highgate st mary to be exact i found the staff in he highgate branch extremely coutreous and friendly they were polite in a very professional way from the staff to security one of the cashiers serve me on several occasion miss s chin they were all very well presentable but this young lady miss chin is a credit to your organisation. raymond .d.ward
