The service is appalling. It's third day in a row when I'm trying to get through to UBL - 25 mins on hold and still counting. For over a month now I have been trying to annulate notice account and after several letters, phone calls and app messages my request has not been confirmed. It's truly shocking that this bank even exists.

Never use this bank for remittance. The platform they are using is rubbish, the money will be released from your UK bank and UBL will decline the payment and you will be hanged between two banks. They don't pick the phone at all. Get ready for 2-3 hours hold on the call and then meet a guy who is not aware of the system. So better avoid this bank and use any other platform.

Fraudulent activity from UBL net remittance. Sent £ 500 to pakistan. Website says payment declined. My HSBC B bank confirmed payment as successful. Called UBL who insist payment declined. Tried UBL net remittance website and it is down! Now who do I trust? Definitely not UBL. You got my message. Avoid unless you want to lose your hard earned money. I will be referring my case to FCA soon.

Mr Shaukat the manager very helpful when the other members of staff were not so helpful! The bank also opens mon-fri 10am -3pm. Otherwise it would have been 1 star!

I wish I had option to give less than 1 star. They do not deserve evern 1 star. They run the bank like old pakistani mentality. No customer services at all. They think customers have nothing else to do in life apart from waiting in the que for whole day. There online system is complete nuisance, does not allow you to do any thing and asks you to contact customer service, which is pitathic.

It has been over 20 minutes since i am on the phone trying to get in touch with any customer assistance so i can get in to my account to send money abroad. All i have been hearing is "all our agents are busy at the moment, you are currently number 5 in the queue, please hold the line". How long........ I need to send money.

They really don't care about you nor they know what they doing. There are no procedures no guidelines for the staff themselves and they just buy time every time you contact them. I used it for netremit to transfer money to Pakistan, with my pre-verified account, things were going fine for transferring money to Pakistan on monthly basis but then suddenly for one very important transaction, they took money out of my bank and contacted me after a day that they have kept my money on hold and won't transfer it until i provide bank statements attested by solicitor... REALLY. I tried to explain that they shouldn't have taken money out of my bank and leave me with empty pocket if they needed any further verification and if they have taken it out of my bank account, they are liable to process it BUT they don't understand. Everyone I spoke to was singing a different song as they all work in different banks. Awful, irresponsible, RUDE and MONEY FIRST CULTURE.

The periodical Statements of Customers Accounts needed to be received by them by default are not being received. More so when the concerned officers' attention is drawn and are requested for provision of the same, they too don't even bother to respond despite requesting time and again.
