As this was my very first time wearing glasses, I was really happy to find an optician that offers the same prices online and in store plus good customer service. I already had the results of my eye test plus picked out the frame that I wanted so I can't comment on assistance with regards to these things, but the staff were always friendly (online or phone) and helpful. My glasses were ready within less than a week and I could pick them up and try them on in the store. Very happy with the glasses!

Have been to the Tower Bridge Branch for the last five or six years. On each visit I leave happy and satisfied. the choice of frames far exceeds what is available in high street stores and the service is second to none.....no more long waits,,,, 2 days every time. They have even managed to fit prescription lenses to an old pair (25 Years) of Ray bans i have always wanted to wear again but no one could do the lenses.

I have had an extraordinary assistance from Elliott (London City Store) on the selection of the frames and the installation of the prescribed lenses, even without my presence as we did it through email whenever possible. The result was perfect as the 2 pairs of glasses fit me as I have tried them on personally. Excellent result and outstanding customer quality service dedication from Elliott!!!!

Very pleased with the service I received. I was given a lot of time to walk around and try on so many frames. They sent me my new glasses in post free of charge. My experience was absolutely different compared to when I went to Vision express or spec savers. So many unique frames from different designers with no one try to up-sell.

It was great to find these guys a couple of years back and both pairs of glasses I've had from them have been excellent. Having such a wide and stylish selection of frames as well as a quick and efficient turnaround has been a perfect find. Add the incredibly reasonable prices they offer into the mix and why would I go anywhere else? I live in New Zealand so I now make a point of buying from IRIS whenever I visit London.

Highly recommend Iris Optical! I needed a re-glaze for existing glasses and was struggling to get this done without being pushed to buy new frames. Boots wanted to charge me £90 on top of the price of the lenses if I wouldn't buy frames from them! Iris re-glazed my frames for £95 with extra thin lenses within one week, staff was super-friendly and I'm really happy with the service.

Great service. Arrived earlier than expected abroad just as ordered and much cheaper than buying locally even factoring in Fedex costs. Iris also seem to have the greatest choice of UK glasses. In addition, they also seem to be the cheapest out there for branded glasses. Both the frame and lenses are perfect: both in terms of of the quality and colour of the frame and the quality of lens. Would not hesitate to shop again here.

Excellent service and reasonable prices for high quality frames and lenses. Their optician was the only one of 3 that gave me an accurate prescription for my eyes.
I would never go to another eye care store again. Got my Lindberg glasses very quickly and I love them. The guys that work in the city store are also very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Staff were super helpful and friendly and spent a lot of time on three seperate occasions helping me decide on which pair of spectacles were best suited to me. Advice was very well informed and professional. Glasses were made available very quickly and extra effort was made to make them available in time over the weekend. Massively recommended. Interesting range of glasses, not the usual brands you'd see in a High St opticians.
Not the hard-sell, but could also be interpreted as being disinterested. However the staff will give you honest and useful advice when asked.
I've been buying from Iris for almost 8 years, and I'm not usually that loyal when it comes to shopping.

Good communication over email. I purchased/ordered the frames and lenses in store and then had them shipped to me abroad (which was cheaper than buying them in Spain). Everything went smoothly but I had asked for the arms to be adjusted slightly before they were shipped, but I don't think this was done. I'll pop back into the store next time I'm in London but it's a shame this adjustment wasn't made before they were sent to me.
They have a referral scheme but there doesn't seem to be any motivation for the new customer to use your referral code - it would be better if the discount was split me and the new customer.
All in all, very happy with my glasses though and I got them at a good price. Iris don't seem to charge an inflated price for the special Lindberg lenses.

Very pleased with the service I received. Tucked away but the staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. There are some great handmade frames to choose from. I much preferred this experience than going to other retailers. The price of the glasses come with prescription lenses and protective anti-reflection coat. I went in on a Monday after work and they were on my desk by Thursday morning. Recommended!

I am very happy with Iris. Staff was very friendly, showed an understanding of personal space and provided useful advice when needed. My well-fitting spectacles were ready for collection next day after I gave them my subscription (very quick turnaround). I found my spectacles to be a great value for money. It also was the only optician I could find that was open on Sunday. Highly recommended.

Outstanding no-pressure shopping experience! We were free to browse without interruption, but when we asked Elliot to help he was very kind and extremely knowledgable. I chose something I would never have had the confidence to consider. I'm very pleased with the glasses I purchased after normal working hours, which I could do because the shop opens until 7! - they arrived in my home just three days later.

I was highly recommended Iris Optical by a friend, and they completely lived up to the praise. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (despite my twice turning up just as the shop was shutting), gave insightful and objective advice, and never tried to push for a sale.
I found plenty of frame designs which I liked, and, when I placed my order, the lenses were fitted and frames delivered within 3 days, exactly as promised.
Would recommend to anyone.

Was very happy with the service & quality of product when I bought new glasses 10 months ago.
However, when I contacted them recently to get some advise about my prescription, I was made to feel like my call was an inconvenience. I followed my enquiry up with an email which wasnt even acknowledged.
Definite contrast in level of customer service between sales & after care.

"Amazing service from Elliott as I arranged the order via email and phone as I am based in Bristol. Ordered frames that were not in stock and also produced thinner lenses than high street chains. One quick visit for measurements and frames delivered with 72 hours. £170 less than major high street chain and great service with all communications answered within an hour via email. I really value great service e.g. Apple, John Lewis and this experience was in those high high levels.

Great range of glasses many of which I couldn't find anywhere else in the UK and New York was a bit to far to buy a new pair of glasses. The communication was really good as they had to order in the frames specially and they arrived sooner than expected and the prices were very reasonable.
Would recommend, especially to anyone looking for something special that they haven't been able to find elsewhere.
