My experience in store was wonderful from start to finish. Everything ran smoothly, I was greeted by a lovely girl at the door who was very helpful, I didn’t have to wait too long to be seen which is always a bonus. The optometrist was lovely and took her time when explaining the results. Lastly Haytim the gentlemen who helped me choose my frame was very helpful. He was super patient while I was choosing my frame, I didn’t feel rushed to make a decision and even was nice enough to pick out a few designs for me which I thought was lovely. Overall the store as a whole was amazing, would definitely recommend others to use this store.

Highly recommend! Very punctual and spotless inside. The optician (I think her name was Jeni) was very friendly and clear in explaining my eye health. I then had to pick out some frames, and having never wore glasses before it was quite a daunting task, but Haytim was super helpful and helped me whittle down their selection to 2 pairs I really liked. They made the experience enjoyable, and usually I don't like visiting the opticians.

My first time at Specsavers was definitely one of the best optical advice I have had. My optometrist, Nikita B, was more than willing to help and went above and beyond with my case. She was supportive and kind about all the questions and concerns I had, which was definitely very reassuring. Her advice has helped me settle in with having glasses very smoothly too! Yesterday I walked in to this shop and have done my eye test, I was greeted by Haytim and he was really polite, then Helena took my eye test, she was really kind and gentle. Nikita helped me choose the best glasses out there and overall had an amazing time. Really friendly staff

From my initial eye assessment to the receipt of my new glasses, Nikita Bilakhia was extremely professional, informative and helpful. Having been prescribed with glasses for the very first time, Nikita gladly and patiently answered the hundreds of questions I had from glasses to general eye care and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the service and understood how best to keep my eyes safe. She showed an obvious passion for her work with great emphasis on patient care. Sensing I was uncomfortable with having glasses, she took the time out to get to know me and understand what I wanted by giving me her expertise on what glasses to choose based on the features on my face. Thank you so much for making me feel comfortable and confident to wear glasses and for such a great experience at the opticians!

I'm new to Spec Savers (having used another high street optician for years) and my experience at the Moorgate/London Wall branch was impressive: it felt reassuringly safe and well managed in terms of minimising the coronavirus risk; the optician Jess was superb - attentive and hugely knowledgable; the eye test was super slick courtesy of Spec Savers' top notch equipment (which was the reason I moved to Spec Savers) and my subsequent glasses purchase was made much easier by brilliant customer service from Haytim. A really positive experience – highly recommended.

Just wanted to say that Specsavers have got it absolutely right! Have been with their rivals for many years but the difference is positively noticeable. A massive thank you to the ophthalmologist Kishna Panchili for making my visit a memorable one. He treated me with respect and went out of his way to explain all the findings. The OCT was amazing and after Kishna's recommendation to have it repeated next time, I for sure will be returning to the flagship store for another thorough sight test and great service!

I have been to many different opticians but after seeing Nikita Bilakhia for the last 2 years I will not be going to anyone else! Ms Bilakhia is the best there is! She corrected my prescription after doing a range of different tests (the previous optician I went to got it wrong) and I have never had headaches or problems with my eye sight ever since. She listens, advises and helps you in every way. She spent so much time with me to find the perfect pair of glasses after my eye test which was hard because I have a small face! I would definitely recommend seeing Nikita Bilakhia!!

I would highly recommend visiting Nikita Bilakhia at Specsavers Moorgate.
Since my eye operation in 2011, eye health has been a top priority for me and my eye tests have been just as much about my eye health, as the prescription numbers. Nikita Bilakhia has recognized this, upon each eye test and been very supportive in advising me on best practices to keep on top of my eye health.

The shop is quite nicely laid out, but I felt there wasn’t enough choice of frames..adequate, but could be more. Upside is that Nikita Bilakhia was absolutely professional, and her knowledge was commendable, prescription wise, and generally, and her professionalism was outstanding. Having done the rounds with a number of opticians and getting mixed prescriptions which to say the least weren't perfect, I decided to try Specsavers as a last attempt to get my glasses right... And they delivered 100%
From the time I booked an appointment with Mo (Manager) to the assessment, the eye test, choosing my frames, all the way though to measuring my focal points I was totally overwhelmed with the professionalism and courtesy shown by every member of staff I met along the process.
I would also like to thank Rochelle who happened to be my point of contact during the eye test & when I picked my new glasses up.
I would just like to add that I am currently wearing the glasses to type this review, extremely happy and most importantly FANTASTIC value for money which were a fraction of what most of the other opticians charged (with an extra free pair!!!!)

I just left this branch and had to leave a comment about the amazing service I received from Rochelle. I brought in 2 pairs of quite expensive Specsavers frames which needed readjusting (one pair I’d bent accidentally and one pair was slipping off my nose). Rochelle did an amazing job of fixing them without doing any damage to the frames. This is why I have been a Specsavers customer for 15 years. Great pricing and even better service. Thank you!

I had broken my glasses and needed a replacement really quickly. Both Ali and Niki worked really hard and managed to get me the same pair by the end of the day. This was the best customer support I have ever received!

Eyes are too important to gamble with, so I feel I have an obligation to share this with other people who need help with their vision.
- They changed test results to sell more glasses, and more... - It was unpleasant to find out that health of customers' eyes is placed at risk in order to get additional sales.
I went for an eye test, as advised by Specsavers, two years after the first. I could read perfectly well with my glasses - same as when I got them - but I wanted to check the overall eye health too, so I did the test. However, according to the new Specsavers' test I was told that in the last two years (after the first test) - my eye sight had changed significantly and so I needed new glasses to protect my eyes. So I purchased two new pairs of glasses.
When I tried the new glasses, I could not see well with them. The Specsavers eye specialist said that I should give it a week using them everyday. I did, but it did not get better so I went back to Specsavers Moorgate. They decided to just change on of the lenses. I still could not see well. They said it will be fine - give it time. I did, but still I could not see well.
I then went to a high street eye test centre. Their test showed different results. I then went back to Specsavers to ask about this. They said it looks like a big difference, but it is not, when other eye professionals had confirmed otherwise. I asked for another test. Initially they refused, but after they did another test, the results were different from the previous. So I changed the lenses again and bought an additional pair.
BUT - When I got home and compared the latest test with that of two years ago (first ever one) - they were identical. And the Specsavers manager did not inform me of this - although she new I still had the old glasses, because I had bought the new ones and not changed the lenses. With the new results, I would not have needed the new glasses, in which I spent quite a sum.
The changing test results to sell more glasses and the not informing of the same result after the second test - I thought this was unethical and really disappointing because we place our trust in these professionals.
Overall, I think it is not safe to use Specsavers (at least not this centre).
