I would absolutely recommend this store as all the employees are very professional and kind.

Good afternoon dear Sir or madam.
Regarding to my visit to one of your shop in Peckham I never been to anywhere that is well coming and warm I am very very difficult to please but I’m impressed of their reception that I got from this store, it was amazing and pleasant also there was one lady who look after me her name was Josie she was really really nice even door I was giving her a hard time she you’ve got time to make me feel very welcome I was impressed and all the stuff where serviceable and they attend into your needs if window when I finish my appointment they help me to choose the frame that I want as well.
For that impression that I have in that shop I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend my family and friends to go there to check the eye or to have an appointment because I did have very nice Service and also please thank Jose I don’t know if she is the store manager or she wasn’t a staff she was very very attentive and she was very very good with me and all the people that were common day she was smiling all the time She didn’t keep me waiting thank you again and you would definitely see me again.

Visited this branch on 23rd January. Outstanding support provided by the staff members. All of them are very polite and helpful. Very well maintained and surfaces are cleaned throughout. Optician Priya has explained my scan and eye test results very well and took a special effort to further support me with my diagnosis. I am very grateful. Would recommend this branch. Thank you.

Went for an eye test and get fitted for contacts which went very well. Service on the eye test was excellent.
Unfortunately the assistant who helped me to fit the contacts seemed impatient and like I was bothering him, but for him it would be 5*
The glasses range is vast but I couldn't find one that suited me.

Incredible service from start to finish! Unfortunately I didn't catch any names, but everyone that helped me with my journey was really lovely, and I felt they had my best intentions in mind! I particularly liked having the extra scan done of my eyes - it definitely took the test to a whole new level!

I have been to many Specsavers stores but this store was the best. The team is very friendly and the Manager Josephine is wonderful and very helpful. Wonderful atmosphere. She assisted me with the best choices with my glasses that suited my face and lens choices. Very honest and helpful team.

Dear Specsavers,
In these uncertain times it felt a very safe experience to have my eyes tested at the Peckham Specsavers today. I felt the place was very clean and the safety measures taken by the store made me feel at ease. All the staff had the relevant PPE on.
The staff were very polite, friendly and very efficient. Thought they all worked really well as a time. I’m a regular Specsaver customers but this is the first time I have used the Peckham store. I intend to make this my new regular store and am very thankful for extremely exemplary customer service they provided me.

Visited the practice last week with concerns about my eyes . Naturally was a little anxious but this quickly eased once I was greeted by a friendly team member who carried out my initial tests. I opted for the enhanced eye test which included an OCT scan - very impressive and it ruled out anything serious . Every member of the team who took care of me were friendly and competent . Great service and experience - thank you specsavers Peckham !

The staff were really amazing especially Michaela ( the optician who tested me) and naam. The store manager Josephine was absolutely kind and delivered amazing customer service to me! She is an asset to the store, gave me great help when picking the correct frames and deciding which varifocal to go for.

Good eye test with a friendly optician called Priya who explained in layman terms what the condition of my eyes were. Staff were courteous and Mujo especially assisted me in choosing the right pair of glasses. Very happy with the service and eye examination. Recommend

Some of the staff were attentive, one in particular didn't care to wipe down her station after a customer, but apart from that one, they are doing okay with the new arrangements.
Had to wait 2-3 weeks for my glasses, they need to introduce a system where they can fit them onsite.

ABSOLUTELY appalled by the lack of organisation in this branch! Their piecemeal approach when dealing with customers is so frustrating, so many grey areas regarding prices for consultations , specs or contact lenses.
I was mislead to booking to booking an eye test for contact lenses which I was told on the day of collection,I’d need another appointment to ‘collect’ them.
On top of that the manager “Josie “ was very inconsiderate of the situation and refused to take responsibility for the the botch-up!

Visited the store last week for a check up of my eyes, the optometrist was very diligent, not much change to my eyes prescription, but I am glad that I did the MRI scan of my eye, gives me a good confidence that everything is all right. Given the difficulties that Covid has brought to the high street shops, I am very thankful that this shop in Peckham is operating nice and smoothly. Momie (hope spelling is right) and other staff are always friendly and assistive, they make you feel comfortable. A bit of delays here and there is very understandable that is due to the cueing up and covid, but overall I am very happy and impressed with the service of this store.

Should be NO STAR review! Booked an eye test last week for today at 1.55am, confirmed by email, all fine - but then I get to your store, and staff tell me I am not confirmed, and did I get a call yesterday (sunday?!) to confirm, when i have booked and been conformed by email. I also filled out the questionnaire - what else do you need ? When I booked I saw several bad and very negative reviews on-line, and now i know why. What is the point of advertising, paying to come top of list in a google search for local eye-tests, if you then have my custom, but turn it away through being so disjointed and unorganised? Your shareholders should know how shockingly bad the approach to customers is. Even at the point where I said 'okay, should i go somewhere else?', there was no attempt to try to retain my custom, and they just opened the door and sad thank you, as if I had actually just purchased something! Very weird experience, amazed specsavers have any buiness.

Absolute shambles!! This branch needs to be shut down, So upset with the service I have had received from them. Very rude on the phone as I was just enquiring about a past order.
The response I got was 'you will get your order when you get it'
I have never been so shocked and intimidated like that before over a phone call...
Best advice is stay clear from these people that claim they are there to help. When really they will take your money and you will not receive what you ordered and when you enquire about it they use intimidation tactics to leave them alone.
My next step is going to the courts since I have everything in recorded.
Please do as I say and not what I have done

A small rundown building with consultation seats falling apart. You have no chance of socal distancing here (so take your elderly family member or friend elsewhere). This place urgently needs to be refurbished or closed down completely. The staff were fine, but unable to offer a good service due to condition and size of the building

Despite not saying so on the website they only want people who have eyesight problems at the moment so asked me to either cancel or postpone with a few hours notice. If you want a routine eye test I'd suggest somewhere else for the time being as they arent interested unless you have a problem.

Disgusted with the response I’ve received from the director of all people, unprofessional, unapologetic and rude. Placed an order for contact lenses and was told to wait 3-5 working days, it’s been 2 weeks now and still nothing. Spoken to the director and was told ‘When they come they come and if I wasn’t happy to cancel they order’, this coming for the senior member of staff was shocking. Learned my lesson NEVER deal with them again, they’ve lost a customer that been paying monthly for the past 5 years to competitors Vision express (excellent service may I add).

Outstanding. Truly outstanding. Best customer service I’ve experienced. The professionalism, courtesy and indeed patience of all the staff in this Specsavers is quite remarkable. I faffed around for ages with my new varifocals, but I was always treated with respect and helpfulness until we got it right. The choice of frames is huge, and the costs are extremely reasonable.

It's small but it's good. I mean, it's where I got my glasses from. But it can improve.
Once I saw a rat and yeah I was pretty disgusted but I never saw it again so that's why I rated it 3 stars. The staff can also act like they want the job because they can be a bit ignorant at times.
I recommend this place if you want good glasses but I also don't recommend it because of the staff. So I say that you go with your gut.

Went here for an eye test on a Sunday and although the shop was busy downstairs, the opticians area upstairs was quiet. Both the staff member doing the pre-tests and the optician were polite and friendly. Tests seemed thorough enough. Even though I went for the free test, the optician didn't try to sell me glasses when it turned out I didn't need them. An alternative treatment was suggested which I was given the choice to buy there or somewhere else.

Disgusting and unprofessional attitude at this store. Should have went and spent our money elewhere. Only care about making a sale and clearly know nothing about customer retention and general good customer service. Let me save you the hassle and annoyance but suggesting you shop for your glasses at another branch! Thier attitude is very much 'take it or leave it' and 'don't bother us with issues because we don't want to help you'.
