Place is very crammed so don't go if you are claustrophobic. Staff seems very helpful as I waited for some assistance 5 staff concerned themselves with one customer and talked among themselves and high fived when they concluded their enormous task

I booked an appointment at Specsavers in Peckham for Friday afternoon and I really don't know why I bothered. I arrived 5 mins early for my appointment, but wasn't seen for 50mins.
Whilst waiting for my appointment I had to listen to some of the most unprofessional staff I have ever witnessed. Several repeatedly shouted across the waiting room to each other, arguing with each other about who's job it was to do different tasks and one even refused to call a customer back after realising they had made a mistake about the customers contact lenses order, saying it wasn't their job to call them back!!!
On a positive note, when I did final see the optometrist she was very thorough, good and quick, she then explained everything about my prescription and how it had changed.
Due to the delay I didn't have time to choose some frames, so took the opportunity to choose them from another store. As I didn't want to risk another negative experience.
I've been using Specsavers for 6 years and have never experience should a poor / diabolic level of overall service. My only hope is that Specsavers replace the majority of the front of house staff, to save their reputation.
