My experience was very positive. I had my MRP passport renewal due (with 7 months still remaining). Contacted the Bangladesh High Commission, London via email inquiring about the renewal process. I received a prompt reply from Mr. Rabbi with clear instructions to post documents via mail. Just requires a passport copy, re-issue form filled, postal order and return envelop, surprisingly simple! I received my renewed passport via post in 6 weeks (as it was the holiday period and I had planned ahead, I didn't mind the slightly longer waiting time). Well pleased with the service.

There were three occassions I used their service, No visa, new MRP and No visa for my son. I really loved their support and time. All staff have shown their caring towards me and other people on the day. They never let me down. There was one down (improved) point, that I would like to mention when I found the toilet was very dirty back in 2006, but now it's fantastic. The staff always tried their best to provide a great service. THANK FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND HELP.

It looks its very funny to me mentioned staffs names in the majority of the comments, seems like compromised reviews left for the purpose, google need to investigate this, real picture is elsewhere, I am not disagree with the level of service, sometime you get very good service most of the times are not. Specially communication and transparency. Once you submit application there are no way you can check updates online, hardly you can get hold of someone on the phone. its not only BHC, other countries high commission service are same level, BHC London has the issue of communication and transparency for decades.

Worse service ever, their online application for NVR visa is very confusing. Even other countries visa system is not that complicated. You are asked to book an appointment for visa but when arrive at the exact time waiting time is up to an hour before you get seen because allot people comes without booking visa appointment and place in the queue. Why ask to book appointment if can get seen without appointment?

I went to the High Commission today to complete a Power of Attorney and was in the queue (I was there from 10.30 am) where I was 2nd position. The Commission's staff firstly called all the Passport and no visa required applications (total three). I waited until 12 pm but my turn haven't come. However, I saw some people were using High Commission staffs to jump the queue. So, I left the queue after 12 pm (I had other things to do). Maybe I will come back again in future to finish my job but before that I have to find someone inside the High Commission who can prioritise me without bothering any queue.

Today is 16/12/2020 which is a holiday for Bangladesh and so the high commission is closed. I also have a flight today with my son at 8pm and I very stupidly thought that my son’s passport had no visa required on it, and he didn’t! Thank Allah I checked and cut a long story short, a very amazing person at the consulate was very helpful and managed to get it done for me today on the day! Thank you so much Mr Dewan for the amazing help that you offered me and also to the others who came in especially for it on their public holiday. I won’t forget it!

I've been there for no Visa required. They are doing excellent job, at least in this Covid-19 pendamic time. One officer with glasses (I forgot to ask his name) was there in window 1, he was really nice, well mannered and very efficient. He helped me to fill up the application form. Other officer was there on the other window, he was also nice. They are very hard working people. Best wishes for them. Goodluck and thanks again to the Bangladesh High commission.

I want to thank our Lady H.E. Tasneem, AHC and the staff who helped to process an urgent NVR renewal application yesterday. Visitors should be aware that staff are dealing with unprecedented challenges during the pandemic, along with their normal duties, and should have patience and understanding. It was impressive watching the Ambassador flawlessly handing media interviews on our National Independence Day, while helping me. What an inspiring role model of good leadership!

Impressive Service. I have been visiting the High commission over the years, but this is the first time I can turn around and say that they have upped their game hugely. It is much more organised, and the customer service and care are a lot better than what it used to be. I have witnessed the staff going out of their way to help people and tackle crowd in a calm professional manner, despite having limited service due to Covid19. I went there twice this year and both times I received prompt and efficient service from the Consular team. Hats off to Her Excellency and her hardworking, dedicated team. Please keep up the good work.

I must admit, the repatriation flight team (in June 2020) did a wonderful job. I am a little late to show my gratitude to the team of BHC in London and Her excellency. I had a wonderful experience with the consular service as well. I am sure there are lots more to come up for the citizens of Bangladesh. We should appreciate the efforts and be positive towards the initiatives, and let's praise the good things so the flow keeps on coming.

The High Commission has been transformed. The staff are very polite and helpful. Do make sure you have all the required documents though as, rightly, they will need those to process applications. We submitted a NVR application by post but needed to travel urgently so went in person just 3 days after posting. Despite not having an appointment, they located the application, issued the NVR and returned our passport the same day. Just wish some of the public attending learn to be as polite!

Recently I had to request NVR for myself, my wife and my daughter. I knew that Embassy operating hours are different than usual because of the pandemic. So I asked for information how I can request NVR. My queries were responded by A F M Fazle Rabbi. He was very smart in terms of giving me the exact information what I needed. Mr Rabbi made those steps very simple for me to follow. I done that and posted all the passports, and then received those back within 3 weeks which I am happy with. Meantime I also emailed embassy to have an update, Mr Rabbi replied to my email asking for my number to discuss. He then called me and updated me saying my NVR process has been accomplished and my passports ( family) have already been returned, and advised me to track . I emailed thanking Mr Rabbi which he well deserve. For those who think I know mr Rabbi personally, or he is my relative. Just want to say I do not know this person at all. My understanding was embassy officers are politically selected and hired. They will have their jobs regardless they provide the service or not. They all know this and that’s why they don’t give us the service we deserve. I was super pleased so see someone who gave me the service I wanted. Thank you A F M Fazle Rabbi. Regards Amjad Sikdar

Thanks to the Bangladesh High Commission, London and the excellent service provided by your delightful employees at Consular Service Section. NVR process is quick and excellent although sometimes online application portal having technical issues for completing the online application. New MRP application process is also excellent but police verification process in Bangladesh need to be improved & prompt. BHC should be played a vital role in this regard so as enable the MRP applicants get their new MRP within the time limit without unnecessary delay.

The service that I received from the High Commission was excellent. I was a bit late in making an application for the extension/ reissue of my passport but got my passport back within a short period of time during Covid pandemic. I found the peoples extremely professional and friendly.

I'm a Bangladeshi national living in the Republic of Ireland and the Bangladesh High Commission in London, United Kingdom, is the responsible authority for all consular services. I needed to renew my MRP recently, so I contacted the consular wing over e-mail, and was very relieved by the prompt response and assistance by Mr. A F M Fazle Rabbi (First Secretary - Passport & Visa). I have called the office multiple times and the staff are very rude, perhaps arrogant, staff have no decency. As a Bangladeshi citizen I have every right to feel like I am in my own country. The staff are in very hurry to hang up the call. Embassy should welcome their own people with open arm. This is absolutely horrible service.

I require to make an application for MRP reissue. Called to the BHC London and received straight away by an officer. UNEXPECTED. Listened my enquiries and nicely, warmly and politely answered accordingly. NO DOUBT AT ALL, he is a gentleman and I did not expect to get this service. The best behaviour I have ever received from the high commission in the last 14 years. I did not ask his name and therefore, I could not mention his name here. SORRY BROTHER. The service was outstanding! I went there with my elderly mother and minor children. As they were with me, they allowed all of us to sit inside. We were wearing masks, and hand sanitizers were available inside too. Everyone was maintaining social distancing. Thank you for the exceptional service.

Their service and organisation during this covid-19 period certainly made an impression on me. They managed to implement all the social distancing manners while ensuring that sensitivity and rapport was still maintained between the staff and the people. The area was clean, the waiting room's atmosphere was comfortable. I have recently visited the HC and was very impressed with the quality of services they provided. We needed help with matters in Bangladesh and was directed towards the Welfare section. To my knowledge no such department existed until recently. The current High Commissioner has developed a team of highly knowledgeable and skilled individuals who's sole purpose is to help and guide us British Bangladeshi's. Thanks to the High Commissioner for building such a dedicated team of professional officers, who made us proud as Bangladeshi dual nationals living in the UK. The dedicated level of support and care received has been very valuable. I am truly honoured and touched to receive this level of help from the Welfare desk. There is no doubt others will experience the same level of support from the Welfare team. Bangladesh needs more dedicated teams like this which will make the whole system work more effective & efficiently. I thank the Welfare team from the bottom of my heart. I called up the Welfare Desk to make an enquiry for my brother in law and I was really pleased to know that UK Bangladesh High Commission were able to provide legal advise and support. When I attended the London office, found the staff very helpful, polite and willing to go the extra mile for us. This was beyond our expectation. Came here for MRP reissue. The service was excellent. People at the counter didn't even take a lunch break! I also liked the fact that the toilets were very clean. Also, social distancing was maintained due to covid. It was quite impressive, considering we are Bangladeshis and we never follow such instructions. Thanks to the High Commission authorities for excellent service.
