After reading all these reviews and hearing tales from friends- I dreaded coming here. However my experience has been very pleasant! I had no Trouble booking an online slot, all the employees encountered were pleasant and helpful. I was seen swiftly and the whole passport business was over in 15 min. The passport will also be issued in about 6 weeks which is quicker than I expected actually. My visit was conducted entirely in Polish, I am not sure if it's this smooth if you don't speak the language.

On-line appoitment booking service - terrible. We spent mornings and evenings trying to book a meeting for 4 people, and it took us over 6 months. I honestly expected the worst but: We had to wait only a few minutes before we were let in. The security guards were nice and polite. We had to wait a while inside but the lady who handled our case was very helpful. As my husband didn't have a valid ID or passport we would not be able to apply for a children's passport but within 20 minutes they issued him with a temporary passport so we actualy did manage to apply . There were other people with various different issues (wrong photo, lost old passport, no envelope for passport to be sent home ect. ) and they were always given solution they were happy with. (Yes you can hear everything) Big possitive change since our last visit 13 years ago.

Horrible service both in person and over he phone ( no way to get hold of anyone) people work there are not only rude but they lack of customer service skill. Please provide properly training for your employees and better service for people as this is our Prerogative to receive this service with respect and dignity as Tax payers the service it is not free of charge eather.

Unfortunately most of the reviews is correct. I am trying to contact the embassy about the passport and there is no response whatsoever. The phone just cut off after few minutes of waiting. After using another number just to be able to speak to someone a rude gentleman told me that it's the wrong number, and after I've asked if he's got correct number he said that he doesn't know and he's in a different building. It will be fun...

Truly the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Can anyone here advise me on how I’m supposed to get my PESEL number? I was advised I need to make an appointment on the passport application form on the E-Konsulat however in order for my appointment to go through I need a PESEL Number???? No one is picking up the phone or answering emails so any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

I have been to many different embassies worldwide and this, the Polish embassy in London I am sure is proud to receive the award for categorically the worst service by any embassy anywhere. Congratulations. Your misery is unsurpassed! It's no mean feat either. Well done for your consistent lack of cooperation throughout my visit.

Total joke!! Try to make appointment to renew my passport and no chance in last 6 months... in the meantime it has expired and luckily I still have my ID valid. This is total lack of support and I feel being absolutely ignored as Polish citizen!! THIS MUST CHANGE.

Very rude and unprofessional people. Unimaginable that such lack of service and disrespect is still taking place. Very disappointed. Staff needs to undergo some immediate training on customer service. They are not giving anyone favours, they are being paid. Moreover there is a complete lack of transparency with regards to the employment procedure. How do they even get to work there?

I've been trying to contact the Polish Embassy for two weeks now to get advice on how to change my name on my passport. They have not replied to my emails and when you call it cuts you off after about a minute. Great customer service.

very difficult to get hold of any one at the embassy. I've tried calling multiple times, waiting on the line for up to 20 minutes to no answer. Finally a lady picked up but seemed so rushed and like she was making me a favour for picking up... straight away she started talking fast in Polish, and my Polish is very rusty, which made her even more annoyed. It's the same deal with the e-bookings. By a miracle I managed to make a booking, after trying for (honestly) 4 months. Can someone fix this please? What a waste of time. Dominique

The rudest , most unprofessional public servants I've ever had the nightmare to deal with with children's passport. They are slow and lazy. They seriously don't care & clearly think of themselves really high. Not to mention the chaos at the office all the time.

I had an apt to renew my passport. My apt was scheduled at 13.40. was not seen till 15:50. Was back home at 17.20. Very outdated place. Could not find a seat for an hour. Extremely overcrowded. Not enough seats, extremely loud due to children running around like crazy without any parental supervision. I do not recommend this place.

Out dated appointment system then there is no way you can track your visa application. Never answer the phone as they are always busy. No one is available to answer anything regarding your visa status. Send email and you get the automated email rather what being asked. Really bad experience dealing with them.

This place is simply unbelievable Online booking service won't offer any appt slot as they claim " fully booked till 13.05". Does that mean they not gonna operate after that ?! Renewal is like a mission impossible. It makes me wonder what all those people are actually doing in there ? Drinking coffees and talking nonsense instead of tackling the issues, they have obviously created themselves?!

Franz Kafka was obviously Polish. It has proved impossible to gain entry to the Polish Embassy by any means Is this THE CASTLE? or are we in THE TRIAL? or have all the staff METAMORPHOSED into giant insects? Who knows? Who cares? You can't ring them. They don't believe in email. The website is impenetrable. The website now accuses us of being a "security risk" after denying us the privilege of making an appointment on every occasion (of which there were many). We are losing the will to live! (Maybe that's their plan...) Now that the UK is moving towards BREXIT you'd expect the Polish government to be prepared for a rise in the number of Polish passport applications, since (in their eyes) no Pole can actually lose their citizenship and may be prevented from returning to the UK on a visit to Poland should Polish border staff decide to take action. This review is a form of insurance. It proves that we tried and failed to get a Polish passport prior to visiting the old homeland. If the Polish border police prevent our return to the UK due to lacking a Polish passport- we shall pretend to be called "Franz" and declare that they are the real SECURITY RISK!

Avoid at all cost. Rude and unhelpful staff. Like walking in to poland from the communism days. No compassion, no help no understanding. Very robotic behaviour. Extreme level of bureaucracy. The level of the service is so bad in the embassy you - that the moment you walk in..you cannot wait to leave.

Consular section saying they are not right department to answer my visa questions and i should call embassy. What a nonsense

I am plagued by calls on my personal mobile for Polish people asking for the Polish Embassy - even though I have let the embassy know a minimum of five times they do absolutely nothing about it - it is becoming unbearable and past being funny - I get 4-5 calls a day and this is beyond a joke now. They are obviously giving it out by a mistake but do absolutely nothing to sort it out and claim they ''have no idea'' how people are getting my mobile number.

This establishment is a very accurate representation of Poland and its government i.e it's a JOKE. Renewing your passport is practically impossible so you might want to reconsider this and try applying for British citizenship instead - it would be faster and more pleasant. One cannot make an appointment further than a month in advance so I was told to go on their website everyday and check if by any chance an appointment becomes available and surprise surprise there are never any new appointments! Polish government and its officers are still stuck in the dark ages. Please shut this place down - you're of no help to anyone and it's just a waste of space.

Despite a few difficulties while making the booking, I was pleasantly surprised by very efficient service and super nice and helpful staff. I had to put application for a new passport and the whole visit didn't last more than one hour. I was very happy with the service received.

If there was a competition for the most INCOMPETENT institution in the world, Embassy of Poland in London would stand a great chance to win the first place. My passport is expiring soon and for the past 3 months I've been trying to schedule an appointment. Every time I look at the website there are "NO APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE" or the website is not working. Impossible to get hold of anyone in there. What an utter joke - it was easier to apply for a British Citizenship than to renew my existing passport in the embassy. I think they still live in 1980s - communist style waiting times and queues, no internet (I doubt they ever heard about "online applications"). It takes one 2 weeks to get a British Passport. It takes one 5 months to get a Polish one. Seriously, I was thinking about moving back to Poland but now I remembered the bureaucracy and changed my mind.

ITS A JOKE!!!! To get an appointment no matter when you go on their website it always says no more appointments till (date provided) why can't you just book an appointment on a date after they have given that there are no appointments? I spend month already to book an appointment and I've seen maybe 10 visits available, which of course I was not able to book!!!!! The lady on the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. Extremely disappointed. Son got British passport in a week time!!!, to get polish passport for my other one is like MISSION IMPOSSIBLE!!!!

I wonder why polish people they ran a way from Poland ..... I was in embassy to get a visa my partner is polish my 2 kids holding a polish passports plus I had been invited my partner was with me they say I have to have the letter from your work I call to my work straight away after 10 minutes they send me by email I showed them then they said you don't have enough money in your bank account front of everyone I was feeling embarrassing my partner told them he doesn't go to hotel he will be in my mum's house they said it's unacceptable. .. They really upsets me the lady she was so rude to me ... Just one question who wants to go to poland for work from England? ???? polish people need to do something about this place it's embarrassing place ..

This place should be shut down, all workers fired, we have 2017 and as usual when it comes to any Polish gov institution it feels like we are going back at least 100 years. To be frank I was very pleasantly surprised (given some of the negative reviews) I needed new passport urgently and have used the 1 day service. All the process was smooth and hassle-free starting with booking my appointment, filling the forms and then collecting my passport the very next day (waited about 25 minutes) So, overall well done, great service
