The most embarrassing place I have ever seen especially visa department. People who work there are enormously rude and unhelpful. Lady from visa department had completely lack of knowledge about most simple thing. I have been put for a hold for hours , finaly lady picked up and couldn't answer my one easy question and sent me to their website. Moreover , my friend who is not polish got an appointment and was serviced by a lady who can not speak English???!!! and was not able to provide him any information. I am feeling embarrassed as a Polish to have that much disgusting Embassy . Hope that gonna be changed , however I doubt .

This place smells of the eighties and a scent of communism is present in the air. Seriously though, not only had to wait a month for an appointment to renew the passport, had to pay extra, because I'm doing so in London, but also had to wait another hour there after being issued a ticket. Oh, and it took over a month to actually receive the passport. It's like they're stuck in the eighties; seriously. Staff was OK, but the place is a joke.

I was trying to get hold of someone from employees on the phone to ask about advise with regards to my stolen ID card, however the phone seems to be off even if they should be actively receiving calls from 8:00 AM. Probably someone highly professional didn't care to log on to switchboard this morning. Shame, shame, shame.Please start your job on the time, as people are waiting for your help !

As described in previous reviews the place has got and absolutely terrible appointment booking time and pretty much never pick up the phone... To get an answer through an email is almost impossible too... From my experience with 2 embassies of Poland I assume the issue is common for Polish diplomatic and consular services. Due to similar service delays or lack of thereof I guess it's heavily dependent on underfunding of those and it seams to got much worse since the last government (PiS) took over.

Maybe they started reading the customer reviews, because my experience was very smooth. Didn't wait too long after my appointment time. Was in and out in about 15 minutes and got my passport back exactly 3 weeks later.

How do non-EU citizens travel to Poland??? Cant book an appointment online. Can't get through to anyone on the phone. Purpose of my intended trip is for a mate's wedding which is beginning to look likely that I will have to miss it due to what appears to be a non functioning embassy. Not a good impression Poland.

Absolute disgrace. Phone number if fiction - never gets answered. They never reply to emails. Website and booking system is a joke. Whoever is running this "business" deserves to be sacked. And good luck working in private sector - that would be like a cold shower for all "management".

As a Polish citizen I’d like to express my dearest apologies for every single person that had to pay a visit to this unfriendly place. Keep in mind that Poland is not like this place and that polish nationals are treated by the embassy staff in equally unprofessional and rude way. Shame on you polish embassy staff!!!

The staff are incompetent and provide confusing and misleading information. They say when asking questions- i am not sure, I don't know. No point to make an appointment as you get to the small humid office crowded with people where you need to take an issued number then wait. When my number appeared on the screen after 40 mins from my assumed appoitment nobody wasat the counter! The not confident girl finally approached after keeping me waiting another 15 mins then started advising with her voice like a mouse, reapeting I am unsure, i don't know we are just indirect consulat. Shocking and unacceptable.

I applied for my passport today. No problems at all taken you follow instractions from their web (i.e. be early, have all documents and photos ready, take your number and fill the form properly). I have been seen 20 mins after my scheduled appointment but again, according to the website, it is something to expect. Whole process took less then 10 minutes. Go with a smile and they will smile back :)

for past month, I am trying to speak to someone to check what documents I need to re-new my expired passport. Everyday I keep calling, every day I send emails -no luck . Terrible service. Absolutely no respect for its people. It is quite embarrassing. I would not give any points except I must otherwise it will not be accepted. Even Zero is to much..

Awfull service through the phone as well as the website, people are being rude through the phone, when I am trying to get an appointment for passport, and they are no use of help, the website to book appointments was no use everything is taken every time. Someone do something with it because I need to go back to Poland to sort out my documents and I can't do it with an expired pasport.

Horrible experience. Confusing booking system, rude security officer and completely ineffective operation system. I was served 2.5 hr later then scheduled appointment. Luckily I am a local so it was just a waste of time, I feel really sorry thinking about people who have to travel to London for the appointment. Unfortunately could not avoid them if you can stay away or go somewhere else. I was renewing my daughter's passport and went to POSK office which is much more organised, but this location is available only if you apply for a child passport.

The man who was doing the security check at the entrance got very irritated when I told him that I didn't understand what he said because I don't speak Polish. He eventually repeated in English with a very rude attitude looking at me with an angry face.

I am British and trying to find out how to renew a child's Polish passport. After several attempts to call this embassy and their messages to say continue holding, got a message after 25 minutes of holding to say my call could not be taken at this moment and to try again later. Very frustrating! What a disgraceful, unhelpful and inept organisation!
