Good Service with appointment only. Access to Computer,Printer, Xerox Copy facilities available incase if you miss to take any document required for application. However best practices to take the document original and copy as per the document checklist mentioned by HCI in their website for the service you avail for smooth processing of your appointment. We called for information and service related issues to our business and leisure related visa issues in India, The phone was picked up in one ring and the Gentleman I spoke to gave us good related information. I wish we had to have similar services in our Embassies as well. The above was my review three weeks back and I called again today, good service by the gentleman, I normally do not easily give 5 stars but the person I spoke to deserves it.

I have spoken to Public Response Unit at Indian Home Office-London today at 10:30. It was an excellent customer services and overall attitude of the officer was very positive, polite and helpful. The officer listen my query very calmly, politely and then responded. I must add here that my call was disconnected , however officer call back straight, clarified and provided clear and transparent responded in regards to my visa application progress. I wish him best of luck in future. Thanks a lot

Just spoke to a lovely Punjabi lady at HCI, she was polite, her communication was perfect, lovely to speak to and mostly, INFORMATIVE. I asked her a question about Visa's and she was able to immediately advise me, I did not have to wait on hold nor for her to search the information and my stress levels decreased instantaneously. I had called up the public response centre with a slightly complicated query. The gentleman I spoke to was very polite patient and supportive and was able to clearly explain the way forward. He hastened up the process, clarifying things with the head and even called back to explain same. He was very helpful and went back and forth to revert back in the shortest time possible.

I had a great experience dealing with the Public Response Unit at the India High Commission. The staff were very professional, understood my concern and helped out with a solution. Pages in my passport had run out and had to travel urgently for work. Applied on Friday and got my passport on Wednesday. Could not have expected anything better. The Public Relations department went above and beyond to help me to push through a visa problem that I was going through in the lead up to my trip to India for Christmas. Their hard work and dedication made it possible to join my family for a Christmas trip that looked utterly lost for me until they were able to help. I cannot recommend them and their professionalism highly enough. They were calm, considerate and listened to all my questions before offering sterling solutions and helped to talk me through everything I needed to correct my problems before giving further assistance to push the matter through. I went through a few reviews given to the High Commission and agree with most of the reviews, the services provided by the High Commission has improved drastically specially with the introduction of the new service of public response setup. The gentleman I spoke to was very audible and well versed with information. He has assisted me with intricacies I had regarding OCI & Visa related. The High Commission should be an example to other Indian Missions around for their services they render.

Visited the HCI London this week to get POA done . Extremely happy to get the documents done within 30 minutes . Consular staff was generally helpful. What blew me away was the free facility of photocopier in the room ! Wow! Indian office & a free copy facility no hassle !! Incredible India it seems ! Also noticed the public toilets has undergone a complete change ( am probably visiting after 3/4 years) & I guess much credit for the makeover & some level of professionalism & competency probably goes to Late Sushma Swarajji . I hope NRI across all world see the same shift . Keep it up . Jai Hind ????????????????

Just rang the HCI emergency number to check on the process for applying for an emergency visa for my minor daughter. The gentlemen i spoke to over phone was extremely helpful and helped guide me through the process step by step and also answered all the queries I had. My phone was answered immediately (shortest waiting time) even though I rang on a Sunday evening and on the Indian Republic Day, which is a national holiday. Thank you once again!!

Well pleased with the information I got from a Gentleman from the Public Response Unit of the High Commission of India in the UK. I had issues with regards to my evisa and was in a frantic mood, but as I approached the High Commission (with less expectations), I was calmed down by this Gentleman and given a good resource for me to proceed with another visa option. Kudos to the Gentleman and the High Commission for timely arranging my visa for me to visit India for tourism purposes. At the onset I got a good service and hope it does continue on my travel to India.

I had filled in an online form stating that I would like to apply to fly with Vande Bharat flight from London to Delhi giving the reason for my travel. I have not got a reply. I tried contacting the emergency numbers but could not get through to any one. I e mailed inf.london@ mea.gov.in but did not get a reply. If I were the high Commissioner I would make sure that all communications are responded to. These can be sent from home by employees. The whole purpose of the embassy is to help and give information and help to people especially during a crisis. Not happening at all. Very bad.
