What's not to love about browsing in Currys?! Everything you might need in one place, you get look at and touch the items before you purchase and the staff on the day we went were super attentive. Unfortunately we didn't get to stay long as the time on the website differed in the day due to it being a Bank Holiday so we arrived 3 minutes before they were closing!!

Never ever shop here. I made the mistake of buying a washing machine and gave my address and number. Three years later I’m still receiving sales calls from their partner Dixon Carphone Warehouse. I’ve written to them. I’ve phoned. I’ve emailed. And their sales staff are abusive when I tell them it’s an illegal call. Each time I report it to OfCom. I really hope they get a massive fine for this rubbish sales. Unless you want your life filled with frustration for years to come, don’t even think about stepping into that door.

Staff are rude. I wanted to ask them a simple question and this girl shouted from 10 metres away “IM BUSY WITH A CUSTOMER” as I approached her... but the store was basically empty. I don’t expect prime time treatment in a Stepney Green shop but this was awful. London Appliances in Bethnal Green, were far more accomodating.

Went to buy a cooker for £389, currys staff began the purchase process but then told me that the cooker display price has changed from £389 to £480. But the display price still showing as £389. I'm very dissatisfied with the poor quality of service at this store. PS.... I was forced to rate atleast 1 star just to post this comment.

After speaking to Currys on web cam they gave me the direct number to this Currys store. I called several times and no one picked up. I went today (10/02/2020) at 16:00 and explained to the lady at the entrance. She spoke in such a disrespectful manner. I really don’t know what her problem was. Her tone of voice was very rude. I passed my phone to her (which was connected to a Currys advisor via webcam) and she spoke very rudely to the advisor. Please to respond to this email with a direct contact. I’m happy to elaborate and I’m sure Jason the advisor can also mention how rude she was.

This place is upsetting. You pay for delivery and installation service for a fridge, and they refuse to do what they say they will on their website... they won't install the reversible door hinge on any side other than what it was made with, despite saying that they will when they take your money. Unacceptable. Inconceivable. Shocking and upsetting. How do these big companies get away with systematically screwing people over? I am looking at taking them to court. I wish I bought it from Argos or some other place.

When you manage to engage with in-store staff or generally with a human on the phone, they're generally quite helpful. Their lack of support products compatible with their main items is poor though, as was their total lack of customer engagement (by phone, email and the online texting service) from last April until recently, from what I can make out. Also, unhelpful rules about which products (e.g. insurance) you can't engage with in-store staff about - the same staff who sold you the original insurance, is frustrating. It's what you get from no local competition though, isn't it?

If I could give half a star I would order for click and collect they clearly stated it would be delivered to the store on 31/12/20. No email to say it would be deleyed so I went to the store 3 days after thinking it had arrived and just didn’t send me an email to say it was ready for collection. But low and behold it hadn’t t and they still couldn’t t give me an estimate on when it would be arriving. These businesses wonder why the consumer has switched to using amazon prime ????????????

Another place with most Asian workers that managed to get away with poor customer service for over 10 years... please read This is another place where you need to search for your own customer assistant. I needed assistance regarding a purchase, a short Asian man with glasses saw me and done a U turn as he saw me approaching him. I finally managed to speak to the guy and seeing he wasn't able to deal with my query, he directed me to the floor manager. How he did this, he did not even approach to the guy, instead he pointed at the manager (how unprofessional) and I took myself there. I went to the floor manager who I assume was a Caribbean guy with a patois accent, even worse as he was telling someone off in front of me and the moment I witnessed that I just walked away. The 'Knowhow' company need more staff as I believe this is the busiest section in store and there's always 1 person serving with such a long que, as well as each customer taking more than 30 mins long. Bad service, extra long waiting times and demotivated environment.

They've marked my order as "Great news, your purchase is ready to collect from store! ". I happily went to the store to collect my coffee machine to then realise that they didn't have the item I've ordered and that they only had a different colour with a torn apart box. ( SELLING AS NEW - but not looking new at all ). I've asked why did you have me coming here if you didn't have the item I've ordered in this crazy pandemic? I preordered a tablet, they emailed me to come to collect. I was travelling 1hr as my item was only available on the other part of the city. When i got there, they were unable to give my item, due to deep cleaning of the store. They opened the shop at 10 am, and they closed down for cleaning at 11:00 for 2,5 hrs. What kind of insane idea is that? They should inform me before the 1hr journey. I was begging the manager for 20 minutes to give my item, it could take 1 minute to him but he refused my request and took 2 hrs travelling time from my life.

Horrid experience. Purchased a Lenovo laptop and within 1.5 year it started shutting down by itself when not plugged in, even when the battery was 70%. I Called customer services and after being put on hold for almost an hour I was told “nothing we can do, warranty has expired” and they told me that if I go to a lawyer that’s what they’ll say to me. So save yourself time and money and go someplace else where they’ll treat customers with respect. I’m left with a laptop that can only be used as a desktop.

Hardly any staff in the shop to help out. Takes ages to find anyone and then when you do not much help. I've experienced this issue on other occasions not just during Corona times. I don't find this shop much help at all. There is a decent selection of cookers,TVs and fridges on display. Customer service is not good!

After a nightmare dealing with Currys online and over the phone to get a faulty washing machine replaced, it was so refreshing to receive fantastic help and service from two lovely ladies who personified professionalism and great service with grace and a smile. Currys phone and online help is not fit for purpose and is to be avoided like the plague. Fortunately they have done great staff in their stores, otherwise they'd very much be a company to avoid at all costs. I doubt the CEO could care less as even he wouldn't respond to my emails suggestion his phone and online customer service need a serious overhaul...

Overall it is a big store with a lot of electrical supplies. I found the phone service in the Carphone Warehouse was good, however in the PC World section It is quite difficult to get served at the moment and sometimes I spend more time walking arpund the store to find a Custumer service asisstant. It is a shame as some of the staff are lovely and very helpful. It just seems to be a poor system for attending to customers on the shop floor.

I ordered a playstation game online, received the email to say it was ready to collect, made my way to the store to receive a phone call 5 minutes before I arrived to let me know the game was damaged during transit and that I would need to contact customer service for a refund. After speaking with customer service for over 2 hours I finally managed to get some sort of answer, no compensation for them wasting my time though just an email sent to the relevant team to process the refund etc. This was on the 24th of December now today on the 14th of January, I am still yet to receive any refund so again I sat on hold for another hour to be told we have now sent another email to the relevant team and you should receive your refund in the next 7 to 14 days ????. Again no compensation just a email and to wait another 1 to 2 weeks. So to round up they took my money instantly, I never actually physically touched the item but yet I have to wait over a month for my refund of a product I have never even handled? Does that make any sense and again no mention of a good will gesture? For my time waste and the fact they still have my money for over a month. And to make matters worse because I raised my voice on the phone whilst making a complaint because the woman insisted on talking over me and not letting me finish before jumping in and then she hung the phone up after I had sat on hold for over an hour. I will never be ordering from currys/pcworld again. To be treated like this during the pandemic we are already facing is disgusting and unprofessional, shame on you Currys/Pc world????????

The store is clean and nicely spaced out allowing more room for customers to easily adhere to the 2 metre rule. I like that no one crowds you and you are able to browse at your leisure without the constant sales pitch. Lovely store.

The customer service was appalling. Literally the workers declined to help me and my family as they wanted a “break”. Yes I understand you may be tired but your main priority was to help your customers. We were waiting almost 45 minutes for a worker to come over as there was just not enough workers for the store itself. I myself bought 3 laptops and as I went home I realised that the worker had given me the wrong laptop. I would not recommend this curry’s as the service was disgusting.

Very friendly staff that were trying to be helpful. Not only was the problem of no apps working not fixed, but they down loaded a virus when trying to repair it. They also had to order in any phone under £300. A waste of time.

1 star for the costumer service ! I been there at about 2pm, there were just a few costumers in all the warehouse. I waited for about 25 minutes, asking to the few shop assistant there to help me. Each one of them told me "just a few minutes please", "my colleague is coming", "you need to ask to my colleague", "give me a minute and I'll be with you.."......... I knew what I wanted with money ready to buy it, I needed just one person to bring me the appliance and take the money...and then I left the shop (heading straight away to their business competitor) because no one was available to sell me anything (but in the area where I was there were just 2 clients and 6 shop assistants!). Unfortunately I did not have so much time to waste to watch them speak one with another, what a shame!

As of covid you had to get the order for pick up only. One i got there they set up an online queue so you had to enter the order details and card info and then you just had to wait for them to pick up the items and thats it.

I really think overall this currys should get a bad star review,I seriously went all the over there and everything in the gaming section was out of stock.Like seriously theres more toasters than there are mice, how shameful and also staff need improving on their service.Overall this currys is trash,there isnt much to it really!
