Belvoir have been very slow to deal with problems we have reported as tenants (e.g. an issue with a door in our house was reported 4 months ago yet has not been fixed yet, my flatmates windows letting water in during the rain, mould in the bathroom, poor insulation, the list goes on). There are clearly some communication issues at this agency. For instance, our house has been advertised as furnished despite the fact that all tenants procured the furniture ourselves. Prospective tenants turn up to view the property without current tenants being notified. When we are consulted about such viewings, nobody turns up! It seems that agencies such as Belvoir are quite happy to ignore the requests and concerns of students, even when repeatedly notified. It would be nice to get a better service and more support from Belvoir.

I'm not with them but they've recently acquired homelets, an extremely poor agency, to their roster. Homelets dealt with horrible student properties and provided a service to match so I would avoid renting as a student with them like the plague as well as the staff members they may have kept on. I'm sure their sales and rental teams (other than the one person who cancelled a viewing we travelled 100 miles for 10 minutes before it happened because they "couldn't find the keys") are great otherwise but homelets and their staff shouldn't be off the hook just because they rebranded, it was the people behind the name that were the issue and if they're still present I'm sure said issues will continue.

Fair, upfront and efficient. I've been renting a property with them for 4 years and it's been a real pleasure. They've made the whole process from begining to end an easy journey with no hidden agenda. The staff are lovely and very helpful. I highly recommended renting a property through Belvoir as they will 100% take care both tennant's and landlords needs are met acting as a great middleman.

Why as a seller or a buyer would you use this agency. They confirm in writing an appointment to view, you drive all the way from ascot. No one turns up so when you call the team say oh wasn’t me we don’t have this booked in! So we suggest coming back at 1:30pm but oh we close at 1pm
Forget the fact we confirmed and you drove one and half hours to get here.
Great service belvoir to both your sellers and buyers, we also love the team work ‘it wasn’t me’ seems a pretty weak response.

Belvoir have been really helpful whilst me and my partner find our first place together. Not professional at all! After telling me that the flat is available and I booked a viewing, my viewing was cancelled as they were considering another customer at the same time. I was a backup option for them for a week without informing me about that - disrespectful! Also, they are very slow in replying to emails.

I found Belvoir Lettings through personal recommendation. Chris came to meet me, and gave a tailored professional service for leasing my house in Brighton. The photos were fabulous, it was advertised on-line, and the viewings began to pour in. Chris checked that every one of the tenants were suitable with me personally before viewings commenced. I had the choice of who would rent my house. Chris, Debbie, Craig and the team in Brighton handled the rental & guarantor process very promptly and efficiently, and continue to handle all queries from both myself and the tenants in a professional and timely manner. Due to circumstances beyond my control, my house is available for lease for another year now, and they have pro-actively marketed it, and found new tenants very quickly. And their fees are very reasonable! I would recommend Belvoir Lettings to anyone in the Brighton area who wishes or needs to rent their property with peace of mind.

I find them trustworthy to deal with and also they ensure I am aware of updates to legislation both nationally and locally. It is very important to me that tenants are treated well, and Belvoir deal with organizing and carrying out repairs quickly and efficiently, and any contractors they have recommended have always been friendly, trustworthy and efficient.
