The appointment was available on very short notice, and the visa was processed very quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful.
While I had booked an appointment and there was a separate counter designated for people with appointment, everyone was still treated on an ad-hoc basis. I could have gone without an appointment and would have been treated exactly the same. I also found it strange that I could pay in person when collecting the passport but not when submitting the documents.

Excellent service! Dropped my documents on Thursday morning and by Saturday morning I received my new passport via post.
The online application system made it easy.
I made a mistake during my initial registration (when I first arrived in the UK) and they kindly contacted and guided me. I also made several enquiries to the embassy since and always received answers within a short time. Keep up the good work.

Much improvement. In 2018 there was some miscommunication, and I had a lot of hassle getting the paperwork ready before and at the Consulate. This time, I spent all of about 10 minutes in the Consulate, my documents checked and I had to pay. And I was third in the queue.
It would be interesting to know why my visa cost £125, when two years ago it was $60 (about £45) for the same type. The price is my only issue.

Administering the moving-out document within only 5 minutes. Awesome. Unfortunately, It will take up to couple weeks if you do it by post. You have to come by your own after all.
