Excellent Service and very humane. My son, who is severely autistic with challenging behaviour, had to renew his passport. I was very worried as usually he is not comfortable when visiting new people and new place, and also based on the previous experience, it was almost impossible to get his biometrics and his picture without triggering his challenging behaviour. I met Pak Mikky and Ms. Febriani prior to the appointment who gave me very good advices and helped to prepare for my son's passport renewal appointment. On the appointment day, I met Pak Andi (Arfandi) the staff who is in charge of passport photo and biometrics. Pak Andi really helped us by preparing a lot of things to ensure all will be safe and comfortable for my son, before he came in to the appointment room. Finally, he successfully took a photo of my son, but my son rejected to give his biometrics. Nevertheless, the consular staffs accepted his conditions and he could still renew his passport without his biometrics due to his severe learning disability conditions. We are so grateful for the services and kindness of the Indonesian Consular staffs in London, which meant a lot for me and, especially, for my son.

Her reaction was quite positive that her embassy wrote to wish her a happy birthday, to the point that she showed it to the head Mistress of the school who mentioned it at morning assembly to show that a country gives consurn to it's citizens even on dual nationality, and that it is the foremost consurn of a government to show empety to it's citizens,wither at home or abroad.

I came this morning to the embassy to collect several documents. The process was done in less than fifteen minutes; really appreciate it. I think it was because I made online inquiry. This is also an excellent improvement of its services.
The waiting room of the consular services is cozy and radiates warm feeling; much way better than when it was in the old place. The only concern is the small number of staff available during the working hours - it makes the room looks empty.

The process to apply was straightforward and accommodating (when I was told I could email my flight details as I don’t have access to a printer) to ensure I could apply then and there.
In addition, I made a slight error of judgement in not leaving sufficient time between submitting my passport for the visa and receiving it back before I travelled tomorrow. I returned to the embassy to apologies and the staff there were incredibly accommodating and understanding in my issue and said they would process for the following day. This really was going above and beyond (as I’m sure other embassy’s may have just told me to reapply when I’d come back from holiday).
I’m very happy with the experience and really looking forward to my visit to Indonesia!

Smooth process, BUT I was not informed that I could have my passport delivered by post when the visa was complete, it cost me 160.00 and full day travelling to collect my visa which was ready after 2 days, not 5. The process could be improved for those travelling long distances to collect.
