When website says it is open until 3pm on Wednesdays, it’s very unprofessional and upsetting when you arrive at 2pm and they say we are closed. They don’t care about customers????

Got in before 5pm but they turned me away. Poor customer service especially from Charlie and Cheryl Pamar. Both were not ready to help at all and did not demonstrate good customer care skills. I recommend you use a different branch instead

Long queue to get told it would be a 40 minute wait I can't be dealt with at that desk. Which I can get, counter staff member was polite enough. But there is a staff member who floats around the queue intermittently helping people starting at the back. If she worked from the front and didn't skip people wouldn't have had to wait 15 minutes to be told I wouldn't be able to be helped on my lunch break. As could have been advised much sooner. Poor service

I have never experienced such consistent poor service. It is always a long wait with insufficient staff and no help whatsoever on the self serve machines meaning that we all have to resort to the long queue.
Today I asked a cashier if someone could come and help in the self service machines and was told rudely to go to the queue.

Hopefully we will still have proper bank branches in 10 years time as I would really dislike it if the whole banking system went electronic.

This branch should be proud of themselves. Customer service is fantastic, so professional and calm, full of knowledge and genuinly always want to help customers. It's a really busy bank but as soon as you walk in you're greeted and asked what you need to do, then directed to the correct area. Even if there's a queue of 6 people I'm always served wihtin a minute by someone fun, professional, and respecful who really wants to help me. I've had a lot of business with Natwest and cannot fault them, they're a perfect example of how to run a bank well in every aspect.
Also free cofffee. YES.
