I booked an appointment on line for 9.00-10.00. Bought face mask, as I am at the bad age for CV19. Drove to brighton early , parked, was waiting outside the bank at 8.55. A notice said they don't open until 10.00. Called the bank after phone we value your custom, was eventually told 'yes, come back at 10.00. Back to car. More money in the meter. Back to bank phoned again but was then told they don't do one to one at the moment. Waited in line for the bank to open. Was told Ruth, the person that I had an appointment card for, wasn't in today. It was ok after that but took me two hours! DON'T BOOK AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE! They haven't changed the website to allow for lockdown. I did suggest that they do, but I don't think they will. One star is too high.

Went in today simply for a printed statement. Waited 45 minutes, and I wasn't the first in line! Shocking customer service. I have never felt so overlooked, and my fellow customers said the same. Middle of the afternoon, and they couldn't cope? (was being charged £6 per hour to park in ncp). Thanks SO much, natwest! Considering changing bank now... It was simply not good enough!

Customer service here is truly shocking. Popped in with a very simple request for a printed bank statement. Was told that this couldn’t be done at the counter (there were no counter staff working anyway) so was made to sit in the waiting area for over 20 mins. Previously I would have walked in and requested this at the counter and would have been in and out in 2 mins. This new set up is terrible.

Whenever I have to attend this branch, which thankfully is seldom, I find the staff to be either sullen and reluctant, or snarkily patronizing. A loathsome branch.

Went to an appointment booked in advance to see if this would be the place for me to bring my business. Was attended by a robotic J.E. person who demonstrated serious lack of customer service qualities, made me feel unvalued even before knowing what it was all about and how this would benefit the bank. I got up and left the premises, as was not going to do business with such institution represented by such an employee. Went to another financial institution where was attended with excellence and brought my business there. NatWest should be careful when choosing customer facing staff.

Standing in line with 12 other customers for 30 minuets at Nat West Brighton, when I finally got to the window and asked why only one cashier was working the girl told me it was now Nat West policy. Any other business that had 12 people in a queue would understand the new policy wasn't working for their customers. I only wanted to pay a cheque in but as usual the machine wasn't working and there were no staff to ask why. Time to change banks I think, this one has become to arrogant.

Don't be fooled into waiting for an advisor. It's only to make the cashier queue look smaller. After half an hour just went to the cashier desk and was sorted in 2 minutes.

Ridiculosuly long queue and takes forever for the queue to move, only two staff serving. All other nearest Natwest branches in Saltdean and London road closed down. Had to park on double yellows with hazards on and risk a ticket whilst standing in a never ending queue. Will be moving personal and business accounts away from Natwest as its so difficult trying to bank with them.

Its embarrassing how long the wait to be served is. I have never been served in under 10 minutes and the longest I have waited is 30minutes. If they have a manager he/she needs to employ more staff but I have never noticed one, just a few slow and overworked cashiers. Will be changing bank if this continues.

Since they’ve shut the London road branch there always seems to be people queuing out the door. There’s rarely ever enough staff. I’ve used it a couple of times a week for years and this is the worst it’s ever been.
