Whatever you do DO NOT RENT WITH BRIGHTON ACCOMMODATION AGENCY. If i could give them 0 stars I would but thats not an option... My boyfriend rented with them last year and we recently discovered that they gave the keys to an external accommodation office to view the house WITHOUT telling the tenants. Thankfully our friend works for this external accommodation office so was able to inform us what was going on and if i have read correctly i understand that this is actually breaking the law under the Housing Act 1988. BAA have no respect for its tenants (and their legal rights + personal belongings) and the living conditions in which they issue their students homes. When a complaint was made a member of staff did not even apologise and simply blamed the landlord who assumed that they had already moved out... (it doesn't take an idiot to check the contract and look to see what date someone is moving out). I feel extremely sorry for those who are desperate to find a student home in Brighton and ends up renting a house with this agency...

The house we viewed is not the house we live in. The service is abismal. I woudl not recommend renting from here at all. The house isn't livable and the agents were clueless, there was no communication.

This agency is utterly rude, high-handed and extremely irresponsible. They do not even comply with the tenancy agreement. They also do not see the landlord coming without any notice as a problem. AVOID THIS AGENCY particularly if you are a student.
