Major service in under 1 hour done in the driveway in front of me whilst I was stroking the dog. All work complete to an excellent standard. I inspected the work and was happy. My dog inspected the work and was happy so I gave him some kibble. Mechanic told me my front brake pads and discs are on the way out fast within weeks, he's given me an incredibly cheap quote for this further work. There's almost no point me shopping around. For appointment rearrangement he gave me a free faultcode diagnostic check and gave me the photos of the error codes and cleared them. Fantastic value and service

Had a full service booked in with this company and they found me a fantastic mobile mechanic. I've always used local garages, but I absolutely love the convenience of having them come to my house and carrying out the work right there.
No more morning drop offs at the garage and headaches of waiting for jobs to get done! Some days they have a few other cars to get looked at or serviced, but with this company, you get booked a time slot and they get the job done straight away.
Great first time experience today, will be using them from now on (more specifically Darren the mechanic who was allocated to do the work for me)

I’ve used Click Mechanic numerous times now and have been totally satisfied each time. It’s so easy and fuss free. The mechanics are always so friendly and professional and best of all they are trustworthy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They do most jobs on your doorstep which saves precious time. I decided to use ClickMechanic to organise my car mot and service, being particularly attracted by the reasonable price and the fact that my car would be collected and dropped back to me. I'm glad to say that everything went smoothly, and I will definitely be using them again in the future. I particularly like the fact that you still have direct contact with the garage that has taken on the work. Thank you for making my life easier and at a reasonable price!

0 stars! Avoid like the plague! The mechanic disabled the break sensors as he couldn't carry out the work of changing the pads to make it look like it had been rectified, low and behold not even a month the brakes were making a wearing into the discs noise (no we only changed them a month ago cant be the brakes the sensor would tell us) well no went for the MOT couple months after and they've let us know the sensors had been DISABLED and the break pads are worn in to! Nightmare! NEVER again! Will definitely be using our local from now on with real people who care about their businesses and don't hide behind an online platform.

I used Click Mechanic to get someone to inspect a van for me. I've used them 3 times now and have been incredibly satisfied each time for vehicle inspections! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND paying the extra £25 to include a post inspection phone call. The document the mechanic sends you post inspection is very good but a bit thin on specifics usually with a rating of Poor/Fair/Good/Excellent for each element. To get into more detail about specifics, the phone call is awesome to hear it straight from the mechanic while it's fresh in their mind. The second time I used Click Mechanic for an inspection I didn't pay the extra £25 and resultantly had to draw my own conclusions from the document, where if I'd paid the extra £25 I could've spoken straight to him and got his recommendation. All in all an awesome company with fantastic mechanics in my experience.

This review is in regards to the call I received from the customer service manager Alex, I had booked my car in for a service and MOT which had to be cancelled at last minute.. Alex called me up in regards to this, explained why and had another booking sorted for me within the hour. Very friendly and polite. I have used click mechanic a few times now and have never been disappointed, always organised and professional. Highly recommend!!

I had booked my car up for a battery replacement and gear linkage. The gear linkage was diagnosed by the website after I explained the issue. The mechanic arrived and I explained the gear linkage was diagnosed by the website, I think he then saw £££ signs in his eyes, as he saw that as not confirmed. I had already done my research on a battery replacement, average price was around £130 all in with labour and vat, which is why I thought there quote for battery and gear linkage at £285 seemed ok. He then did his inspection and surprise surprise he says he can't do the gear linkage as it apparently needed a whole new clutch system as well!!!. But he replaced the battery for me. He then says as more work is needed he will only charge for the battery not the gear linkage and I will receive a quote for the other works needed. I then get charged £190 for just the battery replacement and given a quote for all the works he says need doing to the car to the total sum of £682!! Had I known he would charge so much for just battery replacement I would have taken it to kwik fit who quoted £130! So i got a second opinion from an independent mechanic, who says that is a complete lie I did only needed gear linkage cables replaced, which he did and the car is now working perfectly fine. I will not be using this service again, seems like a bunch of con artist trying to rip people off.

Used ClickMechanic for a Pre purchase inspection. Better value and website than the AA or RAC and the main advantage is one can speak with the mechanic BEFORE the inspection to help manage difficult sellers. The AA process does not allow that, which is really annoying. ClickMechanic much better.

I took a day off work to take my car for repair booked on ClickMechanic. At 17h15 the day before I was to drop the car off I received an odd message from the mechanic saying he never accepted the booking. I contacted him the next morning and he said the booking had been cancelled by ClickMechanic even though on my dashboard on the website it said it was active. Terrible communication between Clickmechanic, the actual mechanic and customer. Wasted my morning. I had to find someone else to do the work - an old school garage who did the work well and at a lower cost.

I was looking at buying a Cat N car quite a distance away. Due to lockdown I couldnt travel so I used ClickMechanic to inspect the car. The Mechanic kept in touch with me, sent a detailed report and told me off his findings, he told me about issues I'd never have found myself. The seller wasn't happy as it cost him a sale - but the mechanic did his job, he gave me the facts of what he could see and left the decision to me. Well recommended service. Thank you

Very easy to deal with and actually saved £100 on the estimate as the mechanic was able to sort it. Definitely recommend to others

The absolute worst service I have ever received, with mechanics that would clearly struggle to spell their own names. I booked my car in with click mechanic, they collected my car from me with a full tank of petrol at about 10:30am. I was then rung at 3:30 and was told my car was on its way back to me. It arrived back at 5:40 on empty. The car had not been fixed, they had merely done a job round damaged parts they didn't even call to ask my opinion. In summary I paid £230, for then to have not fixed the problem and most probably drive it about all day. Would not recommend.

Akeil was very helpful, knowledgable and friendly. He was excellent at keeping me up to date with the arrangements for collection and return of the car etc and flexible in the times of collection and delivery back to suit both of our schedules on the day. There was an issue that needed to be dealt with with the car before the MOT, otherwise it could have failed. He immediately identified this and discussed/agreed with me before proceeding with the necessary work. Highly recommended mechanic!

Booked a full service mobile mechanic arrived was friendly but slightly haphazard and to my knowledge did not do a full service. Indeed reputable garages say the mobile full service is teh equivalent of an interim.
He indicated that brake discs and pads needed doing and was given a misleading quote with "discount" . Agreed to cancel the extra work at no charge via the resolution centre but my card has a pending transaction of £211. (update money was returned). Quote from reputable garage £140. Click mechanic are a good service but they need to use reputable mechanics and garages. Luck of the draw. They need to ensure the people they use are providing a quality value service.
Update: Got good quality parts and garage to fix costing £118 (not £211).

I have attempted to call, email and chat online with this company several times a day, for weeks on end. I have had zero contact back. This is completely unacceptable and I cannot fathom how an organisation can ignore a customer of theirs for such an extended period of time.
I understand that these are unprecendented times and the organisation may be working with fewer staff, however, I have attempted to get in contact over 30 times and have not had a single word in response.
To summarize: This company sent me a mechanic that further damaged my car, making it unsafe to drive and a danger to myself and others through poor and lazy workmanship. After providing extensive video evidence of the faults caused by said mechanic I reported this and was put back in contact with the mechanic who denied all despite the video evidence presented.
He informed me that he would come and take a look at the car but would not do so for over a week and would charge for the visit and any correction work that needed to be carried out. The car was in an undriveable state and I could not wait that long as I needed to drive my heavily pregnant partner to hospital appointments. Nor would I have wanted such a dangerous and rude mechanic working on my vehicle again, especially with my unborn baby and partner inside the car. Due to this, I got a certified mechanic to record a video detailing all of the errors and poor workmanship carried out by your mechanic and proceeded to have my vehicle repaired correctly on that day.
I reported this issue over a month ago and have since attempted to get in contact with the company an unthinkable amount of times via every method possible. I have had zero contact in return. Zero. I would like to think that my experience is an anamoly, however, after trying to get in contact with the company for weeks on end, it must sadly be the way they conduct their business.
I now have no choice but to take this matter to a small claims court and waste more of my life dealing with this issue.
Appalling (or non-existent) customer service and cowboy mechanics.
I would advise against using this company every day of the year.

Great service. Easy to use web site, I like the price quotation. I booked against my worst-case diagnosis but only paid for a more minor issue, so it was cheaper than I feared! I checked this approach out with a lady on the phone who was very helpful. I had a quote from a local garage which was £100 more expensive and would have entailed towing my car at an additional cost. Booked a local garage online via click mechanic, when filling out the booking form I selected the option that states the car wasn’t drivable, mechanics turned up without a tow truck so car couldn’t be taken, they took my keys and said they would be back to collect, hours later I called the garage to find out what was going on they advised that I had cancelled my booking (I hadn’t) they were not able to get any vehicles into their garage at the moment and they would call me back, no further communication after that so I cancelled the service via click mechanic.
I’m not sure what has gone on, but the communication between the garage and click mechanic doesn’t seem to be very good. Won’t be using this service again, have hopefully now found a local reliable garage without the help of click mechanic
Just came back to edit my review, click mechanic contacted me back and were very apologetic, saying that the garage was at fault, and offered me a discount on any further services I purchased through them. So even though this experience wasn’t great, it was at least followed up afterwards which is nice

Do not use this service - the support is terrible - the associated repairers are not great and they do not help you if something goes wrong and leaves it to fall back on you and the mechanic. I also think the communication between Click and the mechanic or service person isn't great. AVOID even in emergencies

This is amazing service...I couldn't even get the car to the garage so I was in dire straits.(love that band!)....I had to ring the garage to cancel my appointment for them to fix the alternator as the battery was now destroyed and the warning lights were just flashing everytime I tried to start the car.......I put my problem to google and along comes these guys £50 cheaper and fixed it on my own doorstep! ..all paid by credit card. Safe, secure, honest decent working lads.
