Stay away! They are criminals. They kept my car for 7 months promising to fix it but they abandoned the car in a private car park, dented the back badly and did not fix it. I got charged £500 and had no car for 7 months for the car not to be fixed and the back of it damaged. They left the car unattended at a random car park, got me a ticket and to add the cherry on the cake he also drove my car into a wall. He has been promising to fix it since December. I ended up calling the police and recovering the car myself from a private car park behind a church where it had been left for 6 months. I received a second ticket there as it that was a private car park too. My solicitor is on this. Do not go anywhere near these crooks.

These guys are very honest and the prices are great.I work on my car myself and these guys will not rip you off.They did a a lot of work on my vehicle and bought my Golf GTI back from the dead.This car drives amazingly now,new engine ,clutch and flywheel put in.They also did my timing belt water pump ect and all the all the work was done at a very competitive price.Will come back again.

Update 19 July 2019. I can say after an exhausting battle with the owner I finally got my money back after almost a month and my vehicle returned without incurring a cost. However, the stress and time wasting has not been compensate for. Neither has his smearing attempt. Be careful folks. Be very careful.
As for the below comments by the owner. See how he twist things. The message read there's a time for the sword and a time for the pen. He's dumb, please show that message to any person. They'll not only understand, but also appreciate the diplomacy. They've had my car since 21 June 2019 and my money a sum of £400 since 22 June. Playing games. I sent a shot of his address from companies house website, letting them know are taking legal action. I am not in possession of the keys to the vehicle. Nor have i received my money. It is true the car does require a MOT. Its sorn and was delivered to his business via his friends recovery service. The job was to make it roadworthy. Why has he kept the keys and my money since then. A complete fabrication. The police and trading standards will be called. All the conversation held have been archived. Ill be monitoring this page. If anyone wants to take joint or collective action, please leave your email address. Ill get in touch. This company needs to be taken to task. Justice is deserved.

Appalling service.. they stole our car basically and our deposit. Refused to give either back. I've reported this matter to the police. Other public services will be informed also. The company repeatedly lied about the works. Completely dishonest. I'll be taking them to a small claims court to for the money. Don't pay in cash whatever you do. Pay by bacs or paypal and keep a record of any conversations. They are not honest at all. Poor service provider taking full advantage of your needs. Awful.

He was really helpful and kept me updated with the issue and resolved all matters quickly.
The vehicle was picked up in the morning, diognsied, he phoned me and talked through the issues and costs.
Car was fixed and delivered by the evening and at a amazing price.

What can I say?
After a long search with many rip offs and incompetent people I finally managed to find Nav's garage. So far he's been great: honest prices, honest diagnosis, you name it! And the fact that he's getting more and more busy is just a testament of that. So, from my side, only good things to say! You won't be disappointed!

Really thorough & super helpful, prices are very competitive, called up a few garages, in the first inspection they fixed the faults that they could and show you physically under the car. From now on I'll be a regular, trying new places is risky but these guys are brilliant, well deserved 5 stars!

I took my car for full service and it was the first time when the garage didn't try to rip me off. When I went to collect car there was a alert light on the dashboard for airbag, Nav was away but he came back to garage to diagnose and fix the problem. Great service.

I highly recommend thid mechanic. My car failed MOT at a popular chain and I was quoted over £300 to fix the problems. I took my car to Nav who repaired all the issues for less than half the price i was quoted and reset the computer for free. I was able to pick up the car in less than 48 hours and it passed the MOT . I would give Nav a 10/10 for customer service and value for money and I will certainly be taking my car to him if I have any more problems.

Nav at Jmd automotive, is very dishonest as a business owner. I took my car in for a full service. My car was playing up. The aa had come down and said the spark plugs needed changing. But nav had assured me this was done. When the aa showed me old spark plugs I was completely disheartened. I paid for a good service from reading reviews however an honest job was not done and he had charged me full price. When I had called jmd automotive, he would keep hanging up and then blocked my number, when I called from private number it would ring. Please to customers, avoid this place at all costs, they take your money and don’t provide the service you ask for. I had taken my car to another garage and they had informed me that the oil was black, when it should be brown so an oil service was not performed. There are better garages within the area so please avoid at all costs. They charge you money however don’t change parts over. I will be contacting trading standards regarding the poor and dishonest service at jmd automotive. This place should be shut down.
