Booked MOT for today. Paid £54 in advance. Was given a slot between 8 and 10am. Was sent a text I was "in safe hands" with Many Autos Ltd. Nobody came to do my MOT. Called a lady called Alexandra at 1pm (5 minutes wait in line). Initially she tried to get my original mechanic to see me, but he refused. She was very friendly, understood and said she was calling around to find somebody and would call me back by 2pm at the latest. Didn't get back to me at all. I called back at 3:30pm. A colleague answered, told me she had just left her desk and absolutely reassured me she would be ringing me within 10 minutes. No call back. I am without an MOT on Easter Saturday and driving away. And I will probably have to call back again to get a refund if at all. Sorry, would love to be more positive, but I run a business myself and communication is key when it goes wrong.

DON'T BELIEVE A WORD AND DON'T TRUST !!
THE PRICES ARE NOT FIXED AND THEY HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR BANK!!
-Booked for a replacement clutch, no mechanic agreed to do the work.
-Changed location from home to work but had to cancel and re-book as the 'system' wouldn't allow such a change.
-Waited 3 weeks for a mechanic to accept job.
-Mechanic called the day before work start date to postpone as job over-running.
-Mechanic called to cancel the next appointment as parts turned up wrong.
-Mechanic called again to saying on way with right parts and that he has picked up the 'extra' £600 part required to do job!!!!!!!!!
The car was booked in on-line using the car's registration which tells the 'professionals' at 'Click-mechanic' everything they need to know about my car. The mechanic who's recent feedback showed he had changed the clutch on the same car as mine recently so he knew he would need the 'fuel mass wheel' as well as the new clutch. When questioned he said that I had only booked the clutch to be replaced and not the extra part so I spoke with a young lady at the office and she couldn't answer my questions, I asked to speak to a manager - apparently there wasn't one available so I asked for a phone call back.
The manager called me back quoting all of the Terms & Conditions, stating that I only asked for a clutch to be changed and not this extra 'fuel mass wheel' that the mechanic had assumed I would pay an extra £600 for without consulting with me before the appointment day. (the quote for the whole job was £693 so this would nearly double the 'Guaranteed fixed' price - no hidden extra's, the price you see is the price you pay)
I stated that I was not happy with this, the price I had been quoted was the price I was prepared to pay and no more, the lady I spoke to was quite insistent then started accusing me of being aggressive and threatening towards her. I stated in fact that I would be involving a solicitor to take legal action against them if they didn't honour the contractually agreed price to do the job I had booked - to replace the clutch. Whether this needed an extra part or not is of no concern to me as I am not the expert and that is why I am relying on them as the expert quote for all the necessary parts, labour and consumables to complete the job.
The fault lies with the booking team for taking the booking in the first place and with the mechanic who knows exactly what is required for this car's clutch replacement and not telling me or the head office before agreeing to the fixed price job. The mechanic said he was too busy to advise me previously -good customer service??????
This is misleading, under-handed and is using the general public's lack of technical knowledge to extract extra money without prior agreement when doing the job - this could be construed as fraudulent activity!
My solicitor will be contacting you in due course and I fully intend to get this job done at the price quoted and agreed and not a penny more.
To wait six weeks is bad enough, to then be faced with a 100% price increase when the work is in your words 'fixed pricing', convenient and trusted'
I look forward to having my clutch replaced at the cost quoted and not a penny more!!!

Avoid! Any problems good luck getting it sorted. Sent my car off to have the breaks done and it came back with a broken lock nut key and now I'm left paying for a new one and currently being charged £40 for the pleasure. Click mechanic will take no responsibility and say it's between you and the garage they select for you. Currently trying their resolution process but so unprofessional and passive I don't hold out any hope.

Very disappointing. Their phone mechanics gave us poor advice. Fitted an expensive part that didn't fix the car. Then told us because they can't diagnose the issue that we should to go to a local independent garage to get the car fixed properly. I wish we'd done that in the first place. Feels like we've thrown our money down the drain.
Update:
We took our car to a local garage. They identified the issue was never with the pump but was the steering rack. Replaced the part and repaired the car. It now drives perfectly. I asked if the pump needed to be replaced and they said no, the issue would not have been with the pump.
The local garage spent two days working on my car, replaced the faulty part and road tested my car for less money than click mechanic charged me to replace a part that didn't need to be replaced.
I'll not recommend click mechanic to anyone.

I don't usually leave reviews but after reading some of the bad reviews about Click Mechanic it nearly put me off using them but I am so glad that I did! Jay was fantastic, he came out at really short notice and replaced my brake pads and the staff at Click Mechanic were really helpful and kept me up to date while finding someone to come out. To make it even better the price I paid was more than reasonable, I will definitely be using Click Mechanic again!

It's a pretty novel idea and works very well, kinda like Uber but for car mechanics.
Means I can get a price in advance for work carried out, information on if I need it doing and not have to think too much about it.

Got my car serviced a couple of weeks ago by one of the mechanics here. A week later i realise that my car is massively leaking oil. I open the bonnet and find that my oil filler cap is missing, and my entire engine bay is covered in oil. Upon writing in via the complaints form, i am told by the mechanic that "he's positive he put it back on" and that i basically have to sort it myself.
SO after having this service, i have had to pay for a new oil cap from the manufacturer, a new bottle of oil, a new oil filter due to the one being put in on service now being of no use due to being exposed an engine clean to stop my engine from smoking after going a certain speed, and i haven't even had the courtesy of an apology.
Absolutely awful service, and if the mechanic can't even fit a cap properly, you've got no chance with actual repairs.

Friendly mechanic. Came out quickly from making the booking to actual arrival. Even came earlier than time booked which was better.
It would have been better if the mechanic did some sort of diagnostic before replacing a part and then telling me, that was not the fault, it could be something else, then proceeding to quote me £400 for an uncertainty.
I liked the fact that they are able to come out to homes and in this instance having them come out was the same cost as if I'd taken the car to Halfords. Neither would be an option if my usual garage opened on the weekend. But for convenience the service was used.
I don't like being spammed and since using the service I've had 10 or more emails begging me to leave reviews or send a 10% code to a friend.

I thought I needed my rear springs replacing so I booked in to have them repaired with click mechanic online (very quick and easy) The mechanic who came out to me was Kamran and after throughly checking my car over and even taking it for a drive to double check he informed me that it wasn't my springs it was just an exhaust clip that had come off so he only charged me for and hour of his time and sorted it out there and then for me. I was very impressed with how honest and upfront he was with me. I will 100% be using this service again and would 100% recommend Kamran!

I needed an alternator replacement for my car. They provided a quote which I accepted. However after 72 hours they had not allocated a mechanic despite being given a week long window for the work to be carried out.
Additionally there was a lack of information from them of their progress or that they were having problems finding a mechanic in my area. The system might work okay in and around big city areas but doesn't seem to function well around Blackpool. Very disappointing.

My mechanic was Jason and I must say hes a great mechanic and overall very nice guy that truly went the extra mile to help.
I was very unlucky that my front coil springs went and on top of that I didnt have a locking nut tool to get the tires off so jason went above and beyond worked really hard to get the tires off and afterwards then went and got me a new locking nut set.
Then he fixed the coil springs on both sides and on top of that he changed the break pads on my vichicle that had worn right down so they were metal on metal so all in all jason worked very hard and did a great job I cant thank him enough truly such a nice guy and would definitely recomend anyone who needs a mechanic to definitely give him a call.

Don't buy a pre-purchase inspection from this crowd. If something gets missed it could cost you a lot of money to rectify, and you'll be on your own regardless of all the nice sounding statements on their website.
Customer service is an alien concept to them and their Resolution service is so biased towards the garage that it's in 'chocolate teapot' territory as a customer.
If you need a pre-purchase inspection, go to a reputable company such as the AA or RAC. It may be more expensive up front but will be cheaper in the long run

Company is a joke. The mechanic they sent was 2.5 hours late, and when he arrived he was rude to my wife raising his voice in front of my toddler. He spent 10 minutes moaning about the price that click mechanic had quoted for the small job, and told my wife he would wait to speak to me (her husband) because he might get more sense out of me (his words) even though he had decided he wasn’t going to do the work by this point anyway.
When I arrived I obviously told him to go away because he had made my wife extremely uncomfortable and nervous. To my surprise it turned out he’s a mobile mechanic who is banned from driving due to alcohol and drug addiction (which by his appearance wasn’t too surprising in hindsight) and he was being driven to jobs by his mate in a car. Not a van full of tools as you would expect.
The click mechanic website details his qualifications as “other” so with all this in mind, be extremely cautious of using this website because they seem to have no concern whatsoever for who they send. And click mechanic won’t allow us to leave a review of this person on their website so don’t be surprised by seeing only positive reviews on there for the mechanics.
We tried to call and complain but they just suggested calling the mechanic directly to complain. However the issue is with click mechanic sending us this useless person and wasting my time, since it was them we were paying directly. We were told a manager would would call us back from click mechanic but this never happened. Complete shambles DO NOT USE THEM. Ended up going to a local garage and having the work done for basically the same price anyway, but with a polite respectful attitude.

Booked a catalytic converter replacement, middle exhaust section and both lambda sensors to be done. Had a phone consultation with one of the in house mechanics who sorted the estimate out for me and the price without any hassle. I booked the day off work so the work could be carried out. Now when the mechanic arrived he did not have both sensors . he was told by click mechanic it was only one sensor for some reason. Due to this miscommunication I lost a days work and the mechanic lost out on the job and his time. Also was told I had to pay a £60 surcharge because I did not have the old catalytic converter that could be traded in by the company. The company was aware the reason for carrying out the work was because the previous cat had been stolen off the car. Talk about no hidden charges! The final cost of the work would have been another £450 (surcharge and two new sensors because apparently the one the mechanic had was not correct for my car ) on top of the original price.Not once was a surcharge talked about. It was my first experience using this company and I would not recommend them or use them again. Really disappointed.
On the plus side naomi in the customer contact centre was very helpful And managed to get the booking cancelled and my money refunded very quickly so I could get the work carried out by someone else.

The most disgusting and crooked company. They coming to you without necessary tools and expect you to have it, but they obviously don't ask you if you have it and then they saying they can not do the job and leaving, but charging you £40 for nothing. Great business they created coming and leaving without doing any job and getting £40 for nothing. And their prices are more expansive then in quick fit or any other garage, but other garages have all the necessary tools. Avoid this company if you don't want to be ripped off.
