Staff could do with some more training on the products but great showroom with most of the products on display

Their flash sale isn't a flash sale. They refunded most of what I bought saying there was an error on their webshite. Of the items that did arrive, they were not the best. They have also overcharged me for the delivery (which of course you pay for separately on top of the displayed price) and think I haven't noticed. I'm about to ask for a refund...oh dear... Avoid! Stick with real companies like John Lewis, M&S, Ikea, Argos, Wayfair etc.

Cool and trendy shop, some really good looking furniture, the price on the high end or the quality, however products on promotions are responsibly priced. The reason I've given the store 2 stars, purley down to my girlfriend was looking at some bed throws on the back wall and a little mouse jumped out and started walking on the throw. We did mention it to a member of staff and pointed to where the little mouse is, but she looked at us, as if we were mad.. and walked off... Thought that was a poor customer service Not for the reason the mouse jumped out, but the way it was handled... By walking off.

One star, I have 0 star I will give 0. Ordered 2 piece furniture online, takes about 2 weeks to get here. I have phoned and cancelled the order as I don’t needed anymore somehow still dispatched, and took me so long to call the delivery company cancel to delivery. And got told that I have to wait 30 days to getting refund. Joke ! Really !

Because of extra strict completely unnecessary social distancing rules be prepared to queue for an hour. They only let about 6 people to be in this huge store at a time. Mental.

Easy to get to and find right on Tottenham Court Road nearly opposite Foyles. They have some interesting furniture here. They seem to be one of the firms who have promoted a 50s and 60s retro style in colours to match. It's not cheap but not overly expensive either. The problem is that you can't buy anything you see. You have to order it and have them deliver. Do you have that many days off you can squander one waiting in for your delivery? I haven't.

Really hit and miss this company. Have received some good stuff from them but the last delivery was an utter shambles: I ordered tables on 6th July. They were put out for delivery a month later. I specified they should be delivered to a drop off point. They were instead returned to Made's warehouse. I rang up to ask if I could have those tables. I was told they don't know where they are. I asked if I could have a refund. I was told I could when the tables turn up. I asked if I could have the tables when they turn up. I was told no because someone else might want them and order them in the meantime.

My online experience has been very good. We've bought a sofa, two chairs, a desk, two lights, a chest of drawers, and soft furnishings. We had an issue with one of the lights, and it was dealt with really quickly in a friendly manner (five stars for online). Unfortunately, visiting the showroom on Charing Cross Road wasn't a great experience. This review is for that. The staff constantly ask if you need any help. I knew what I wanted, but unfortunately they didn't have any of it in the showroom. I felt pestered. If I'd visited the showroom first, I'd never had bought anything. The furniture is sparsely laid out, and for some reason cheapens the look of it. Sets seem poorly thought about. I asked to use a bathroom (I'd travelled up from the south coast) and the staff member wasn't very friendly. I asked when the discount finished, she said today (that was Saturday). In fact it didn't finish until Monday, so she (apruptly) gave me incorrect information. I'm still intending to buy more furniture (bedroom) because my online experience has been great. But I'II avoid the showroom, and buy a sofa elsewhere as I'd like sit on a sofa before I buy one for our main lounge.

Ordered 3 sitter Ariana. The stuff was unprofessional, they told me I payed for delivery and collecting the old sofa but it wasn't true and I got stuck with 2 sofas. Besides that, the sofa was not comfortable at all and actually felt like sitting on concrete. The girl in the show room told me it's the exact sofa that I wanted but only different color (maybe the one in the showroom was comfortable because it was so old and over used already..). When I asked for returning the product they said ok and that I will get a refund no problems. But they forget to refund me when the sofa was collected. Said 5 to 7 days, after 3 weeks I called them and they said they were going to do it now which they did. Anyway, I highly don't recommend buying there. It's expensive, low quality and terrible service.

Worst carrier service used, doesn't refund up to the initial paid price of furniture, a disgrace! I guess they will not remain long on the market anymore...

Ordered a small pouffe on 4 Jan, got a notification that the item was with the courier on 15 Jan, 23 Jan still no item. I called the courier to enquire as to the whereabouts of the item and was informed that it had been returned to Made as they were unable to deliver it. I didn't receive a single call, message or email to inform me of this and then was told that it would take another four weeks for the item to be delivered again as it was out of stock without even so much as an apology. Shower of jokers. AVOID

Lots of stock on display that's not actually available to buy online. Staff unfriendly and fairly unhelpful. Not a positive experience sadly, and I buy a lot on their site. I'd stick to online as offline isn't doing you any favours.

Sadly I have to agree with other reviewers on their customer service! It's non existent. I ordered £000s worth of lamps, sofas etc. and just couldn't get hold of them to report a faulty lamp. Finally lost it with them after waiting on the phone which is never answered for 25 minutes & sent a tough email complaining and got action, they sent the new lamp out straight away & I haven't even returned the faulty one yet! They arranged for DPD to collect it, but they never turned up, so I'm waiting to see if THEY contact ME!! Boot's on the other foot now, ha ha! Also what annoys me is the delivery charges, like QVC you have to pay a separate delivery charge per item! They have some lovely stuff, but just not worth the heartache when you can never contact anyone in customer services. Awful service! Loaf is so much better, as is a German company called Urbanara, fabulous stuff & their customer service is superb

I had promised the customer service to write a horrible review and here I am. Nobody picks up the phone, they email you back after 2 weeks and the delivery times are obscene. Why on earth I bought furniture from them?!?!?!? I will make sure to write as many bad reviews as I can. And I bought expensive chairs for work, not even for myself. BAD BAD BAD

All the furniture came damaged. Their standards are really low. They were also unable to replace the damaged items so i either had to return and reorder a full dining suite or accept that part of it was faulty. They offered £35 at first as compensation. Bearing in mind that the suit was £1k.

The showroom has been laid out really well with a good selection of furniture on display. It open till 8pm which is a big plus for me. The staff at the store were respectful of customer privacy and allowed me to view the showroom on my own pace. I just love how amazingly simple and elegant everything from Made is. The desks, sofas, armchairs, lights; it's all very good quality and aesthetically pleasing.

Some great furnishing and design ideas, but the whole experience is lacking in focus. Some of the display items are a little tired and could use refreshing. In short, not as snappy as it once was and looking a little dowdy.

Items quality were shoddy, looked nothing like the website. Then the returns are a hassle. You can't return in person in the store so you have to choose a day (cant be weekend) and wait around all day for them to turn up.

This is the worst website I have ever used. All I want to do is order a swatch of fabric but whilst the website says you can order one it will not let you. Just takes you round and round in circles. Nowhere on the website does it give a telephone number. Had to search on the internet for a phone number. Phoned the company who after getting through cut me off. Redialed number and the person at end was most unhelpful just quoting from a script. It appeared that whatever we did we first had to buy something. If it was not correct when delivered we then had to pay to return the item. This is not a company that wants to do business with anyone. Very unhelpful, stay well clear.

You should go here even if you can't afford anything. Just for the feeling. Imagine you're David Bowie and sit on softly lit designs that gently vibrate with clean style. Ask questions of the effortlessly beautiful staff who all know everything about every piece right down to the size of each handle or the depth of each cushion. You wonder if she's flirting with you and you wish you were 20 years younger. A distant twinge of guilt dissipates into the quiet, cool, conditioned air.

Avoid. Serious problems with this company. Was assured of a delivery in 10 weeks on purchase of an expensive piece of furniture near start of May, still no sign of it at the start of August (12 weeks). I explained at the start of the complaint process with their agents that I purchased knowing I would get the product before I give birth the first week of August. Now, due to delays and an online sale, the delivery is due the day I’m admitted to hospital and I am expected to liaise with their delivery company while in hospital giving birth and after an operation to rearrange for a delivery time in the weeks after, when I have a new born which is challenging in itself. On contacting agents about this, their response is to offer a refund rather than press for delivery before I give birth. If I went for this option, it means a waste of three months of waiting and no product at the end (a quarter of a year wasted) and a serious lack of respect by MADE for my time spent waiting, worrying and trying to fix it. Throughout those three months I received no updates from them as to progress. Their website was not working properly often and buffering causing problems in getting tracking information - they don’t respond quickly (10 days have gone by since I last contacted them for a response), I asked them to call me ASAP in my first contact and 3 weeks later I’m still waiting for that call. I contacted head office and 10 days later there is still no response. Disappointing.

This shop is really messed up. Tried to order a sideboard but the dimension was wrong on the website, when processing the refund for this item the customer service cancelled my second order for another furniture item instead. DIDN'T even apologise for this mistake when speaking to them on the phone. Nice work.

In one word: shallow. Small and disappointing. An attempt at a trendy sofa shop without the genuine love of design and sofas. It seemed forced and pretentious, a copy of something cool. Furniture not very good either, don't be fooled.

Great store but staff are not really attentive. Store needs to do more to make it welcoming. Lighting is poor so you cant really see the products how they might look at your home. Prices are great but did not see any ex display stock or clearance on the shop floor.

We ordered 2 lamps and an armchair. Nothing to say about the armchair yet, because we have to wait till june to get it. One lamp arrived, the other one it’s been a month and we don’t know where is it... We contacted customer service, didn’t pick up the phone. We send them an email and reply a week later saying that there’s too much demand now and that they hope we get to go to the store and solve the problem. Nice. We call them and a very rude guy told us that they don’t know what’s going on and that they’ll get in touch soon. Well, we’ll wait, and keep waiting, but I can bet my lamp and the armchair that we need to contact them again for this. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Let’s hope nothing happens with the armchair after having to wait 14 weeks... Not happy. Prices and range of products are great, and the service at the London Showroom was good... But customer service is awful. If you order, I hope you don’t have any problems with the delivery because customer service sure won’t do anything.

It's a real shame their furniture is quite lovely, as their customer service and delivery service is appalling. I've had non stop issues with their delivery, from a delivery partner telling me I could carry my own table and chairs up to my first floor flat as I looked strong to another delivery partner refusing to take boxes off the truck as they knew it wouldn't fit (surprise, another much larger couch from another shop fit just fine). From start to finish every person I've interacted with has been insulting, unhelpful, and just useless. The furniture itself is great, but it certainly isn't worth dealing with the company. I'd happily pay more elsewhere to avoid ever interacting with them again, and that's certainly what I'll be doing.

Quite awful logistics and frustrating customer service. Ordered a coupe of items that was taking much longer than anticipated to deliver, so I called to support to cancel them and asked for a refund. The order was somehow not canceled properly by support so the third party delivery company still attempted to deliver - of which i declined. I then had to call back several times to ask if the refund had been processed and was told something different every single time, apparently the refund hadn't even been initiated until after I had called back a few times - perhaps I am naive in thinking that an order cancellation typically means an automatic refund? Finally I was refunded well over two months after for an item that was never even delivered, and not even the full amount was refunded as the "delivery charge" was deducted. Beware, do not expect speedy delivery as claimed by the website or a smooth refund process.

As long as no assembly required and you don't need to talk to customer services then you may be ok. If you have plenty of time to take off work to wait in for delivery men, repair teams (that take 2-3 weeks to visit) and talk to customer service, go for it. I would say furniture is of incredibly poor quality (our independent repair team organised by the company commented on the poor quality of the item), customer services are of the "computer says no" variety and logistics are poor. Will completely avoid this company in the future

0 stars. think very carefully before ordering from Made. Ordered a sofa which was for delivery in February, then forced to accept delivery end of November. Currently have two thirds (was told the missing bit was the right chaise end - but oh no! its the middle that turned out to be absent!). Have taken 3 days off work for various delivery no shows, cannot speak to a manager ever, have been let down by two different delivery companies. Cannot have a refund or get the last bit of the sofa I now no longer want as the bits I do have may look lovely but do not bear up to actually being sat on. The worst thing is the constant emails from Made asking if they have resolved my query or asking me to rate their product...guaranteed to raise the blood pressure of the calmest of souls

Dispatch date before you buy is not the actual dispatch date; if it says days expect weeks of waiting. The delivery never reached me; I received a text during the time of expected delivery to say they could not deliver it, even though I was there waiting, and received no missed calls about their visit and no door rings. I sent them an email and canceled the order, and it seemed they were delighted I did. If anyone knows the name of the actual company that makes the furniture please let me know, because this furniture deserves a better company to sell it!

Their delivery partner is the worst. I shared my feedback with Made but not a single message since. It is obvious they do not care and give value since they sell. A service should cover everything include the delivery. I will never buy an item from Made

"What is this sofa?" we ask; "how much is it? Who am I, when reduced to a mound of tired flesh that needs to sit on more than yesterday's newspaper bundle by a bus stop in Kettering?" You might find answers to some of these, if you can find a staff member - they are polite and kind to weary travellers. But they are few, and when we went there, outnumbered by surveyors offering a £20 discount for our opinions on a sofa we never wanted to buy. Nice layout, though. Like if the 70s had researched 2010s style, and tried to emulate it.

Waste of a trip. There’s barely any products on display. I had one particular sofa in my that I wanted to try - out of many sizes and 4 colours the showroom had 1 armchair in 1 colour. Staff advised me I should imagine it’s as long as another model, as comfortable as another one and as for the colour here’s the sample. Really?!

The desk I ordered (Quinn) was shipped with several large markings on the top surface (the most visible). I had spent 90 minutes putting it together when I realised this as it was the last item out of the box (not to mention the hours waiting for the thing to be delivered). They wouldn't replace the top - they would only offer to send a completely new desk (two huge, heavy boxes) for that one piece. I asked for a refund and they insisted that it be disassembled. This took another hour of my time. The company had no interest in fixing a problem that they had created by sending a faulty product in the first place. In the end, I'm glad it went back - it was so ugly and heavy. Save your money and sanity and go to John Lewis or IKEA where they will back up their products with their customer service.

Really plush retail store for the online furniture company. They have a vast selection of posh looking designer homeware, but at very reasonable prices. I can't attest to the long term quality of the stuff, but it certainly looks very high end. It's a modern shop with loads of funky stuff to photo, they use these Android tablets that use NFC price tags. You just tap the tablet against a product you like, and all its configuration info and pricing information shows up - the future! Worth coming in for a wander around.

Fantastic showroom making able to see and feel the items before buying. There are no prices, instead a tablet that scans and records you a list as you walk round. Simply return at the end and the list will be sent to your email/Made account. There is a large wall of draws containing cards of most products with some fabric samples to take home.
