A wonderful selection of furniture from around the world are to be found across all floors in this fabulous shop. I went there specifically to find a Knoll diamond chair and I wasn’t disappointed with a couple on display. The Eames selection was also very good as was the range of Danish furniture. The rug room is also worth a visit. One particular example made in Spain caught my eye. See pic To sum up. If your looking for furniture in London then a visit to Heals is a must. You can also get a coffee in the cafe.

Absolutely Awful. Ordered a light 4 months ago and after following up multiple times and being told it will arrive in a few weeks, it gets delayed yet again. Now it is looking like it will be delayed another month and will not arrive in time for Christmas. Our living room has been without a light for months now as every time we expect it to be here it gets delayed. I've had to pay for the electrician to hang a temporary light. They never notify you it's been delayed but only after chasing them multiple times do they tell you. The most infuriating thing is that for months now, they still sell the item on the website "ready to ship in a few weeks" which is a complete lie. Honestly will never buy from them again!

If you’re looking for inspiration to do up your house, or need to buy any furniture or lighting, then this is the world famous place to do it. So much history to Heal’s – it’s a pleasure to browse and get inspired here. While some of the items are so expensive you might only dream of owning them, there’s also a large selection of items at more affordable price points on the ground floor, and a Habitat on the ground floor and in the basement which sells many great options at more affordable prices.

Placed an order for a dining table and 8 chairs in March. Dining table got delayed for months, each time referring to Covid as an excuse. Somehow all other furniture retailers were able to deliver on time. Dining chairs got delivered on time in May but one was faulty: off balance and with visible dents. We sent photos and were promised a replacement. We have been chasing since then and the replacement chair has still not arrived, in November. It takes multiple emails to get a response from customer service. We were also accidentally copied into an email within their internal teams, and they are incredibly rude about their customers! Never purchasing from Heals again. We're on the verge of raising a fraud dispute given we have been sold faulty products and the issue has not been resolved by November for an order placed in March.

Gorgeous collections and awesomeness all arounds. Every floor is a magical kingdom of design and marvellous furniture. The top floor is my favourite. Be sure to checkout the cafe and the gorgeous stairs on the back. Very helpful and nice stuff

EDIT: Avoid at all cost. Another delivery with unusable product. When Heals does well, it provides exceptional services and products. But when it doesn’t, it tend to end up pretty disastrously. If you want to purchase multiple items like I did, be aware that you might have to wait for around 3-4 months for your order when your sales told you it’s only 3-4 weeks lead time as you hand them over your money. So finally your wait has ended, the chances are probably less than half of the products would arrive at your door and no one would bother giving you a heads up in advanced even if you have spoken to them several times before. Then finally the guys arrived and assembled your products, then 2 out of 5 have flaws and need a replacement. You will then need to do the same thing again, contacting the customer service team, arranging a replacement, waiting for a delivery date, arranging yourself to be at home for the delivery etc When I decided to purchase from Heals, I was expecting an effortless experience hence was happy to pay the high price tag. However I find myself spending so much time chasing the delivery, arranging the delivery then products went wrong and again doing everything one more time. The communication and management is just bottomline poor. To give Heals some credits, the products that are fine are truly exceptional. They are sturdy and well designed. But the frustration I had and the time I lost for this order is just totally not worth it.

Disappointing. Saved for a very long time for some beautiful looking furniture and to be fair most of it is good. One item, an ottoman, obviously defective with buttons coming loose after a few days. Sent pictures and a video at their request (half of them are loose like the picture, and the ones on the sofa are mostly tight so it doesn’t look like they match), told it would be assessed and repaired which was a surprise- it was very expensive and obviously not fit for purpose from the off. Assessor booked and we were told to be in 12-7 yesterday which was fine with lockdown. Missed a call from an unknown number on the day then 7 minutes later get a message saying the assessor has cancelled the visit...because we did not pick up straight away. So to recap, deflated because the quality was not great (and it isn’t cheap), felt like they brushed off the extent of the problem, want to repair an expensive item that was identified as defective after two weeks, and then don’t turn up to repair. I think you find out how good a company is by how they act when something goes wrong. I expected better. I’ve seen below they’ll give you a coffee if you leave a good review, but not replied to disappointed customers. Maybe that says something. UPDATE. Middle of October and a new ottoman has been delivered. Bad news, obvious gash in the leather in a prominent place. Should really have been checked before it was sent. Noted as a defect on the delivery form etc. and we’ve emailed Heals but a few days on and not even an acknowledgement. Really would have thought they’d jump on this.

Delivery is a pain in the arse. At 3pm that delivery would be at 7am to a business address. No one was available to take delivery at the address, so I would be charged £69 to arrange a new delivery time slot. Called courier but it rang out. After much calling around they could deliver the following week at 8am. not much better. All of these complaints were easily avoidable with some old fashioned communication. Now I have a 5.30am start after they have taken 4 months to deliver a product. UPDATE: got delivered at 7am sharp, but they forgot the legs for the sofa. UPDATE: they can only deliver the miss parts at 8am, which is extremely inconvenient for us. The call dropped out and no one returned the call. I called back and was on hold for over 10min. No resolution, still.

Wonderful shop, great design items though with prices to suit all pockets. Brunel furniture range for example or floor rugs from about 150. Fascinating history of the company, some examples of vintage furniture interesting to see and still usable for modern settings. Will visit again, also check out their website.

Surprisingly bad customer service. Ordered a sofa and a lamp a year apart. Both times the delivery took much longer than I was told. In case of the lamp, it was delivered after 8 weeks instead of 2 weeks – in the wrong color – how does this happen?! In both cases, no communication about the status or apologies for the delay. I sent two emails to customer support and received no response. I went to the store and was promised a call with more information, which did not happen... Update: Unfortunately things got worse. I returned the lamp and picked one up in the right color. The box it came in was dinged up and the lamp had many scratches, among other problems with it (it can't be assembled correctly). I don't know what happened here, but it sure seems like after all this Heal's is trying to dump an exhibition model on me.

I recently bought a duvet cover from Heal’s that cost £79 and I also ordered 2 extra pillow cases. When I received my order I noticed there were only 2 pillow cases. In the past whenever I bought a duvet cover it always came with two pillow cases as standard. I contacted Heal’s only to be told that their duvet covers doesn’t come with any pillow cases. So the two that I ordered extra was the only two I got. To be honest, I wasn’t that impressed with the duvet cover when it arrived. It’s pretty box standard. I couldn’t believe it when they told me they don’t include pillow cases with their duvet covers. This is a total rip off. Had to spend another £36 plus postage twice of £12 to get 4 pillow cases. I will most certainly not be spending my money with Heal’s again. I have bought much better quality duvet covers with pillow cases in the past that actually cost less. It seems like Heal’s doesn’t even bother to respond to previous reviews of other customers. It just shows you how little they care.

It's like a design museum in there! So much great stuff! I like all the information written for all products, but the staff is not so inviting. They talk among themselves or just stand and look without engaging. The one I did com in contact with seemed competent enough

You must visit the third floor! The buyers here know what they're doing although pricing is a little inflated. Found the exact same rug online with another retailer for £80 less.

Their shop is very attractive and elegant. The furniture are also well-designed, loved what I bought from there but the customer service is not that great. Was ignored by some of the staff when I came in, I just hoped they were more helpful.

Surely Heal's has to be one of the best interior stores in London ? With a rich heritage and inspiring in-store displays Heal's never disappoints. Beautiful fabrics and bold lighting - there is always something to catch your eye.

Very poor experience over all. Everything I bought takes about 6-10 weeks to deliver. I had bought items that were postponed even further from their purchase date. Their communication on the delays were poor. In this day and age will all the furniture competition Heal's is showing it's age. Better shop elsewhere. Better value for money, better service, better delivery time.

Edit: Heal's apologised for the issue and rectified it, hence I have updated my rating. Nice selection, but the ethics of cheap scammers. My wife and I literally spent 10s of thousand pounds with them, but I’m done now. I bought online a lamp at 15% discount and they call me up the day after telling me that the item is discontinued - but that’s a blatant lie (one can now buy at full price from the website or in store). They had just made a mistake with the online discount, and lied to me to fix the issue. I would have accepted the honest mistake, but behaving like cheap scammers is unacceptable.

A Grade II Listed sprawling landmark on Tottenham Court Road for over a 100 years. This furniture store retains an original circular wooden staircase emblematic of the store’s illustrious past as an innovative and trailblazing enterprise at the forefront of British design. But that was then but this is now. Steering a fairly predictable course through the contemporary criterion without swerving off piste or raising eyebrows.

Heals store experience at Torrington Place. Yesterday was an Amazing day. I met such a friendly staff there. Very cosy and luxury environment. I was at the first floor and looking for more sofas. The security Celestine was so friendly and open when I asked him to show me where can I find more sofas. He directed me to the second floor with a big smile and warm attitude. I can surely say that Celestine made my day and I will always remember his big smile and warm environment which he created for customers at this store. This store seems to be proud of their staff and value each of them. I will highly recomend to visit this store to my friends. Yana.

Awful customer care. An online order for a desk was ignored and not passed on to the delivery company. It was actioned weeks later and only when I chased. Another order was lost in the post. I spent hours of my time chasing Parcelforce who confirmed it was lost. Heals told me I had to 'prove' it was lost before replacing. Finally a manager stepped in, but they failed to deliver replacement goods on the agreed date and blamed a third party. I would recommend you buy in the store rather than online.

Very good at taking your money and not much good at anything else. We ordered a set of chairs in late May and were told there was a 7-9 week lead time. Fine. This time came and went and I had to contact Customer Service with a query as to where my chairs were. I was then told my chairs were coming in mid October. I complained and they said Sept 20. Well, here we are and had I heard anything? Of course not. So we called again and were told the chairs were now coming Oct 5. I am thoroughly fed up. Do not buy anything from Heal’s. They appear to be a reputable shop, but they are not.

Such a fabulous store, in fact, more of a museum to home interior design. Worth a visit to look at the exhibits (sorry, products) rather than shopping! Naomi Hammer in the furniture department is extremely helpful. When looking for a new sofa she really understood what we wanted, gave very good advice and alerted is to a pending sale so letting us avoid a rushed purchase (unlike many other High Street stores I could name!).

Some really nice designer items. We always love the pendant lighting that they have. Just nice to wonder around. Unfortunately the items we've liked haven't suited our budget so far though.
