Upmarket home fittings and furnishes. Even if you cant afford it, its still good window shopping. Make sure you see the staircase at the rear.

Heal's has some of the best design furniture and carries all kinds of modern and fun ranges, it's pricy when you're previous sofa was from Ikea, but the style and quality are well worth it.
When you're tired from trying out all the sofa's and beds, and wondering where that absolutely fabulous dining table would fit, the Cafe is an excellent place to catch your breath, have a coffee and some fab food.

We placed an order for furniture on the 21st January and paid an extra £50 delivery as we live in Bath. We emailed them on the 16th of April enquiring when we would receive our order as we had not heard anything. The reply informed us they would be receiving stock on the 2nd May and this may take two weeks to deliver!! Apparently Bath is so far away from London that it takes 2 weeks from leaving there shop to reach the delivery destination!! It is now the 18th May, still not heard anything from Heals. I spoke to their shambolic customer services to be informed that the items are still not available, and yet they are still advertised on their web page. We have asked for a complete refund and guess what that takes them 3-5 days to refund! We had high expectations but are extremely disappointed that Heals are not able to deliver & would NOT recommend anyone ordering from their website.

We've had such a terrible experience buying bespoke furniture from Heal's. My husband and I spent a huge amount on a bed in August. It was supposed to take 3 months, but took 5, and I spent 4 weeks chasing Heal's about a delivery date after the piece was ready for despatch. From day one until delivery the communication, access to information was all over the place, making every step an ache. If I had a penny for every time a Heal's rep said "I will personally follow up with you on this" and then didn't...When the piece was finally delivered only 3/4 of the bed was there. Now we have an expensive piece of furniture in pieces scattered around the bedroom and are sleeping on a mattress on the floor. But the worst part is that nobody from Heal's has bothered to contact me with information since the half-delivery. The service for such an expensive item is appalling.
