You can create your own living space with IKEA studio. Kitchen living room etc.
You don't need to go all the way to North circular IKEA's.

Wonderful place to see, feel and have an overall image on how your house should be decorated. You can book a visit if you need more access to the 1st floor. The staff is friendly and allows you to walk around, take some photos and leave without any registration. You can't purchase anything, but you can note the codes down if you want to order online.

Love the fact IKEA has a small branch in the middle of city! Although they don’t have much items compare to other big IKEA stores(its ‘PLANING STUDIO’ APPARENTLY), good to have it just in case you need supplies for kitchen or living room furnitures.
If you are looking for hangers,dishes,lights, or racks,..etc
Its not a place for you.

Ordered a new kitchen for our first home with Taz who was amazing at communicating given the lockdown restrictions and him working from home!
He made us feel like we could totally trust his judgement and I can not wait for the new kitchen to arrive - amazing customer service and very good at his job role.

terrible. you can't buy anything in this small store, bad service, employees just chatting. They didn’t try to identify what I needed, I went to buy a dresser that in the app said it was in stock, getting there I could only buy it over the internet, (which I didn’t want because it’s too expensive £ 40 for delivery) I couldn’t even take it disassembled in the box. disappointed, do not recommend.

Great service, these guys take the hassle out of planning kitchens and have all the samples and mockups ready to choose from.
The salesperson did a good job and knocked up a 3d plan much quicker than I would have done on SketchUp. IKEA seem to have certainly ploughed some resources into their bespoke planning software which spits out quantities and quotes etc efficiency. Can't comment on quality of the final installed product yet but the planning and quoting is very clear and effortless. Not surprised they have the highest Which score for customer satisfaction.
Luxury kitchen design it ain't but thats not the point - if you have the cash for that look elsewhere, but great for mere mortals with a regular salary!

I attempted to visit the store today with my heavily pregnant wife. The staff member at the door asked us to wait as the store was over capacity. Of course I completely understood this is required due to Covid guidelines. After 10mins of waiting I asked if my pregnant wife could sit down on the chair literally next to the main door within the store while we waiting. The staff member insisted we wait outside. I explained that my wife was in a mask and is clearly heavily pregnant but the staff member was insistent. We walked away and I’m seriously considering boycotting Ikea and this store due to this unreasonable behaviour and lack of common sense.

I went to go collect my online order but when I go there they had told me that it was cancelled as I did not collect it within 2 days even though I called on the day of collection, waited 38 minutes for someone to pick up and then was told to wait another 2 days . Then when I went to collect and they said they cancelled my order, the guy with the brow piercing who talked to me was very rude and impolite. When he called his manager she was understanding about the whole situation and apologised for the inconvenience also when talking to the manager the guy with the piercing was talking to a colleague clearly about me and was laughing even though it was in another language it was pretty clear they were talking about me. I used to like IKEA but because of this I have been hesitant to purchase again. I can only hope that guy is fired so no one else has to go through the rudeness and inconvenience I went through!

If you want to plan your ikea kitchen, bath room or fitted bedroom, i recommend making an appt at the studio on Tottenham Court Rd. Quieter than the shops and you can search for up market accessories at Heals, Habitat, Calligaris and so much more....all across the road a few steps away.

What you always wanted, help with planning your IKEA kitchen, bedroom etc in a central location.
Staff available to help you choose from the many possible combinations of Ikea's products.
The store is tiny compared to the usual Ikea warehouse but it's not replacing the out of town stores, it's complementing them with central London design and planning.
Go visit and be inspired as to what you can create for your home. It's minutes from Warren Street and Goodge Street tube stations.

Bright and well presented IKEA show room. Staff are friendly. Only downside is apparently, you need to book an appointment online (!) in order to discuss options etc. Cannot do it on the spot. Guess they are too busy because they do offer some very practical, yet well designed furniture.

I wish there was the option to give it 1 star. Ordered a kitchen for 3000 pounds. The delivery team failed to deliver the kitchen on 3 separate days. First time they tried to deliver to wrong address, and the other 2 didn’t even attempt it. Each day I spent over 5 pounds and over 1 hour on the phone to customer services to try to get the delivery arranged. When it finally did arrive, half of the items were missing and when I told the delivery crew, they were adamant everything was there. I signed that 60 boxes had arrived. Finally getting delivery of remaining items today. And to add insult to injury, ikea is offering a mere 80 pounds for all the inconvenience this has caused. Have been without a kitchen for over 2 weeks due to their incompetence

Also good to know you can place order for any available Ikea product and you get delivered into your home. ( couple of products available only from big stores)

Strange concept. Seems to be an IKEA showroom in central London but only for IKEA kitchens... I think.... Staff seemed very engrossed with their laptops. Busy enough. Close to Heals and Habitat. Yeah .. I guess it's an alternative to big plebby IKEA's elsewhere. Could've done with a coffee machine.

Just tried to use Ikea online delivery and it was a terrible experience. They used DPD who never showed up or rang the doorbell. They then lied to me on the phone saying the client had rebooked the delivery before hanging up.
Will never use Ikea online delivery service again.
