We're over the moon with our under stairs storage. We managed to get an appointment at relatively short notice and Daniel the installation chap did a fantastic job on fitting it all. I'm normally a stickler for details but am happy to report that all the panels lined up exactly as they should have and the joinery work was excellent. All in all very happy as we were getting quoted between 1-2k from other companies/joiners with installation dates well into 2021. Clever Closet have managed to create an off the shelf system which works really well. Thank you.

I couldn’t recommend Clever Closets enough. We’ve had our storage fitted today and it’s absolutely perfect! Mike was great and was done and dusted within 5-6 hours and didn’t leave any mess at all. It’s so neatly done and we haven’t had to touch up any of the decor around it. Customer Service from Tia was brilliant too, so friendly and helpful! We’re so pleased! Thank you!

I've had my clever closet fitted for over a year now and is still within the 2 Yr guarantee but one of the push opens isn't working and needs replacing. I cannot get through or have my emails gotten back to. I felt they were really good initially but it's broken alot fasten than I hoped and I feel as though the guarantee isn't worth anything as no one gets back to you

I submitted accurate measurements of my under stairs space and was recommended the 3 drawer tall boy. On the day of delivery the disgruntled fitter said the office staff had recommended the wrong unit and said I'd need a 5 drawer tall boy or the plinth at the bottom would look oversized and would be a waste space.
After about an hour backwards and forwards on the phone with the office, they implied there had been a mistake with the measurements (there wasn't on my part), wouldn't accept any fault and wanted me to pay full price for the 'upgrade' that I never knew I needed.
The fitter didn't have the supplies for the upgrade and they wanted to book me an appointment for 2 months time (I'd already been waiting 2 months). I refused and in the end work began on the same day. I went to check on progress a couple of times and I was told they had to put in extras that technically they should be charging me for, such as wood to support the coat rail because behind the plasterboard of my closed under stairs space it was hollow. I wasn't warned about potential extra charges in advance and I'm surprised they didn't try to get even more money out of me - it was implied that they were doing me a favour!
At the end of that day the work was left incomplete with no confirmation of when it would be completed. They also put a hole through to my kitchen wall!
I tried to get through to the office several times but nobody answered the phone. I tried Facebook messenger and I got a reply to say that somebody would be back the next day to complete the work. This went ahead and the unit was completed to an okay standard by a different fitter, but they kept saying they had no idea how the hole had been put through the kitchen wall and said all that they could do was fill it. It looks a complete eyesore and now I'll have to arrange to have it repaired and decorated.
Apparently, this has been passed on to customer services but I haven't heard from them yet. I've asked when I can expect to hear from them, which has been 'seen' but not replied to and I can't get through on the phone.
I'm really disappointed as this was a huge investment for me which I was really looking forward to, but the experience has been painful and I would not recommend them to others. Hopefully I will be compensated for the damages to my kitchen wall but I won't hold my breath now they have my money. There's also a 2-year guarantee on the unit, but what's the use in that if they don't answer the phone or get back to you...

They do a great job - but are very very pricey - they done my storage under staircase in two goes / there was some confusion because they didn’t want to come back to finish the job properly and I had to send pictures and speak to customer services manager to sort out this issue. Finally it was fixed and it looks lovely.

We arranged for the installation and it was agreed but due to work we had to re-arrange a short notice.
This wasn't a problem and we had a very nice guy turn up as agreed; he worked without any break - despite being offered tea and biscuits! - until the late evening, to get as much done as possible. He had to come back for a very short time the following day to finish off some small items.
The workmanship is very high and we are delighted by the work, the installer and the company's customer service. Brilliant product and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

Very disappointed about this company.
Not respecting their word when it comes to bookings.
They first scheduled me at end of January 2021, being booked initially from October 2020.
At a certain point I've rang and checked if I'm still booked in, they re-scheduled me at end of March.
Probably they think that clients will wait for them to take my money.
If they do the job as they do the bookings then the result it's obvious.

We're really happy with our new clever closet. It was a very smooth process from start to finish and the team there went over and above to come back on all the questions we had in the planning stages. Our installer was David, who was just lovely. David took the time to run through all the different options we had and provided recommendations throughout the process. He has great attention to detail and installed the closet perfectly. We were super happy we had David on this job and would highly recommend him.

Great product and service. With being locked down we purchased a self build kit as they weren’t installing. The product was shipped quickly and it was easy to put together. Customer services were brilliant. When we had issues they got the answers from the head fitter which enabled us to finish the install. They shipped out a replacement part quickly when one of the drawer fronts was damaged in transit. Highly recommended and we now have a much more usable space.

Not a professional company! They just cancelled on us a day before installation date giving some lame excuse. Having emailed them a week later to find out the rescheduled installation date, we received an email saying the person is on holiday. I called them and got hung up on. I called 5 more times and finally someone answered. They gave me a new installation date in 2 months time saying that currently they only have 1 installer. Dont waste your time, go to a professional company instead. It looks like this is just one person company where director, office manager, sales director and installer is the same person

Happy overall pricey for what it is but knew that before I got it so was happy enough to pay. Negative was I was quoted wrong price for the space I had although my dimensions were correct customer care tried to talk about it as if they didn't make a mistake my 3 options were a blank square or 200 for an extra door very expensive for a door or 400 for an extra 3 drawers again very expensive was offered no apology or anything from customer service. Overall I'm happy as I said expensive but works well size of drawers goods looks nice it's fits my purpose perfectly.

was a bit dubious on this, but Soo happy with the storage, had three draws installed under stairs! We had Roy fitting and he was on time, clean, friendly, attention to detail was amazing and drank lots of tea :))...just how a trades person should be. I use trades people regularly and its very rare to find someone who takes pride in his work... thank you again Roy and the Guys/Gals at clever closet

I cannot rate Clever Closet highly enough for the work they have done for us. Aydin was our fitter and he was, quite simply, a joy to have in our home. His attention to detail and craftsmanship were second to none and he really was an absolute grafter. He was great to chat to, wonderful with our children and pets and so respectful of our home. Good usage of space under the stairs but was not happy that a featured part the the staircase was removed but not removed from my neighbour that had the same thing done and has the exact same new build. Was not happy that installer damaged my bonnet whilst cutting the wood on my driveway

Installer walked off the job before finishing the job, without calling to discuss any issues. Didn't do a good job of installing what he did do. I've been waiting nearly a month for someone to come fix it. It takes customer service a week to reply to any email. Fed up with this now.
I'd like to update this.. This was eventually fixed and we are very happy with the result. I would definitely recommend this as it creates so much storage space.

We had Dave from the SW London/Sussex area fit our closet. He arrived at 8, but was initially unsure he could complete the job as were are in a flat, and had lots of heavy equipment to take upstairs. But he persevered and started the job.
He was really excited for us, and couldn’t wait to show us the end result. A great sign that he has pride in his work!
He worked super fast, and his work was brilliant! Highly recommended!!

We found the whole process so professional and easy. I first contacted clever closets through their online contact form and a representative (Gavin) got back to me very quickly. He sent lots of photos of previous work and advised us of which unit would work best in the space we had.
The fitter (Aydin) who came on the day was extremely skilled and set to work straight away measuring and fitting. He ensured everything fit our space perfectly and checked and rechecked everything was as it should be. We are very happy with our Clever Closet and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I had been putting off getting the work done from clever closet for a while as some reviews weren’t great online but I’m now so glad we did go through and get it done. The final work looks great and is going to prove to be so helpful for extra storage . We got the 6 drawers under stair storage.
Both David at the office and David the fitter were very professional , helpful and friendly . There was almost a point were we lost our slot close to the date after waiting 6 weeks or so due to our original fitter having an injury but David in the office managed to find someone else to cover within 48 hours of us finding this out so we didn’t lose our slot which was great . All handled very well and professionally . I would definitely reccommend this service .

I am a happy customer though I had a little bit of apprehension over the ease of which I used the internet to organise and book the fitting also it can be a little disconcerting not seeing someone face to face. At one point I had that "its too good to be true?" feeling and thought that it would all fall through.
Well it didn't and I should not have worried.
The installer Colin turned up on time, worked neatly, efficiently and left as if he had never been except that I now have drawers under my stairs.
I will be recommending this company to my friends. Actually I already have.

Got a 400mm tall boy and 6 drawers fitted today. Highly impressed with their fitter "AITOR" for his timeliness, precision and tidiness over a solo 9 hours job.. Aitor transformed the space to our complete delight. He gave useful ideas to improvise the design and make the best of this space. His attention to every detail & focus on quality of fitting was outstanding, and exceeded my expectation. I had to pay additionally for the changes which was ok; other than an un-empathetic & pushy sales lady trying to extract the most from a committed customer for a change..
However, the terms & condition of this company has issues. The fine lines say that all the debris have to be disposed off by customer. Painful to load & dispose wood, plaster boards, metal frames with loads of nails & screws protruding out. Thankfully the fitter helped me to load it in a car.
Smart fitter, Smart product & DUMB policies. You charge a lot of money for this already; may be charge some more and take the rubbish away to recycle. And, contact center dealing with re-pricing could be a bit more sensible & considerate..

Very poor service! After paying our deposit and a six week wait they sent out a fitter without the correct parts to fit our unit. They then didn't return my call and I had to chase them. Disappointed!

We had under stairs cupboards done, amazing storage, really well fitted and so clean, cleaned up spotless afterwards . I can't recommend them enough, will have them back for eaves storage when I get to decorating that room.
