I first spoke to Dr Attilio D'Alberto when I was 45 years of age. I already had 3 children, but was trying for a fourth child, following a number of miscarriages. I was worried that I would be unable to get pregnant due to my age. He took his time talking me through the vitamins which myself and my husband were taking and our diets and recommended some Chinese herbs and other supplements which I could take in addition. Within a couple of months, I became pregnant and I had my son in February 2021.

I came to Attilio to get help with hydrops - where there is a build up of fluid and pressure in my inner ear which leads to very distressing temporary deafness, tinnitus and general disorientation with loud noises. I had been suffering from it for 10 days straight and was feeling stressed by the time I arrived at the clinic.
Attilio listened attentively to everything I described and explained what he thought might be at the heart of the issue, when it comes to Chinese medicine and acupuncture. He also could see I was very stressed about the situation too - and as part of the treatment helped me use mindfulness to try to bring down stress levels.
He explained everything he was going to do. This involved putting needles around my affected ear, and in my legs/shins (he explained these were areas linked to the organs that Chinese medicine suggests are involved in the workings of the ear). The process is painless and I actually found it immediately relaxing.
I was already being treated by conventional drugs for this condition - and whether it was the acupuncture alone or a combination of the acupuncture and my drugs - but by the next day I was free of this episode of hydrops.
I have had a second acupuncture session but as I"m symptom free at the moment Attilio suggested there was no need to return. However I would definitely come back if the symptoms do return. And I would have no hesitation in recommending his services to others.

I was looking for help with a strong pain on my leg, but being PREGNANT there weren't many options of pain killers or interventions for me. Dr. Attilio helped me immensely! The pain degraded a lot after the first session, then a bit more after the second, and a lot more after two more. Thanks to this I was able to enjoy the rest of my pregnancy without pain. I highly recommend his services.

I had been recommended acupuncture by a friend to help with my stress levels and to kick start my menstrual cycle which had not come back for 8 months following contraception. Attilio was extremely knowledgeable and I felt very at ease. From the first session I felt a weight off my shoulders and week after week, my stress levels were being reduced. Attended the clinic just before I began another IVF attempt (which was successful!) I’d never had acupuncture before. With my first pregnancy, I struggled a lot with morning sickness. I tried every suggested remedy under the sun and nothing worked. When I got pregnant again and started experiencing the dreaded nausea and sickness, I decided to try acupuncture. Attilio was very knowledgeable and in our first meeting, also flagged to me that my iron levels were likely low (the midwife confirmed this about 3 weeks later). After the first treatment, the nausea went away! I still had waves of sickness but not the constant nausea which is really the worst part. I have been seeing him every week since and I am so glad I found him. He's also exceptionally nice and flexible. He once squeezed me in an evening appointment just before my holiday as I didn't want to go away without the treatment. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Acupuncture with Attilio is helping tremendously with my problem of constant eye twitching. The twitching disappeared after only one session and I am now continuing acupuncture to heal from stress and other underlying causes.

There are many benefits to having herbs, so women should take the time to make themselves aware. I approached Attilio when my husband and I were trying to conceive and I started having regular Accupuncture sessions which I found incredibly restorative - I have never felt so calm! I’m pleased to say I fell pregnant and then had sessions up to 20-weeks. I also had pre-labour sessions which are aimed at a speedier, less painful labour. Attilio doesn’t over promise..my labour was 2-hours and managed without epidural! Thanks for everything Attilio, I’ll be back for some treatments soon.

A fall on the wet fall at the end of February resulted in two potentially life-changing fractures. At times, with a severely broken dorsal femur--and an elbow--both on the right side, I felt like half of myself! Despite having had my 80th birthday in January, both limbs miraculously healed.
However, a chronically painful backache recurred, which had been controlled during the past 11 years by regular sessions of Aerobics, Pilates and Yoga. Once again I experienced excruciating pain. A telephone consultation with Dr D'Alberto provided beneficial suggestions. Once I was somewhat mobile, I took a bus for the first time since the fall, in order to visit him. After a treatment of Acupuncture and a course of herbs I felt significantly improved enough to resume some of my exercises--gently.If I am able to retrieve 50% of my former enjoyable life I will be content, and Dr D'Alberto will have played an important role.
For me he is a natural healer. He listens respectfully and asks sensitive, relevant questions. I feel comfortable and contained with him. TCM is new to me and is expanding my perspective. Above all, he is positive, encouraging me to be active in my own recovery. His years of study and experience enhance an existing gift. I hope that he continues to practice in Twickenham for a long time.

I suffered from severe neck and left arm pain and found Attilio amongst many other accupuncturists in West London. The reason I chose him was because Attilio is only focusing on accupuncture as a real medical Chinese methed. He is well-educated and knowledgable about what he is doing. Only after two sessions and following his recommendations I could see the majic of accupuncture by Attilio.
