Delivered a metal framed garden table and bench with sharp metal weld splattered on the edge of the seat. Unusable. Started to rust within 2 days. Asked them to collect and replace straight away but got brushed off with some vague promise to send someone out to inspect the fault. I had to chase it up because no one got in touch to book the visit only to be told it will be about a month before anyone can come out. They refuse point blank to collect and replace the item. Terrible service.

I'd give them 0 stars if I could - ordered a bed which had a 4-6 week wait, fine, but then this then turned into a 4 months wait! They refused to do anything about it other than refund shipping costs. The delivery date miraculously was bought forward (when they said it couldn't be) to only then be pushed back, again! Terrible service, really would avoid at all costs.

Delivered a completely broken coffee table and refused to arrange a return from the flat unless I brought the heavy broken item down to the ground floor. Then refused to process the refund. And refused to speak to me on the phone about it.

Unfortunately I can't give it a zero star rating, or I would have. Ordered a lamp shade and it was not made clear that the waiting time would be 8-10 weeks. 10 weeks for a lamp shade. So I contacted MADE and had a chat with "Jenny". She was completely unapologetic and rather snobbish. She didn't leave a good impression. I don't like doing business with a snobbish retailer. I can purchase my goods elsewhere.

Great range of products. When things go well, it’s great! I have experienced this many times when I started furnishing my flat. When things go not so well in terms of delivering or dispatch, it can go very quickly down hill. The Customer Service staff is not experienced enough to deal with customer complaints or to manage “crisis”. I was lucky enough to have someone helping me get a refund after 10 days of daily chasing...this was an exhausting process.

I am so glad I ordered this chair bed. It’s a gorgeous green velvet and looks really luxurious. It came flat packed but just needed the legs screwing on (it took 20 mins max to assemble). It feels sturdy and looks great in my room. The delivery was earlier than expected and very smooth. I would definitely recommend MADE to friends and family. ????

Cute showroom which is a nice touch if you want to see the pieces before you buy them. You can't purchase anything in store (to take away with you) however you can order online from the store and have it delivered.

Nice shop modern light looking furniture. Good selection of sofa beds. Some of the furniture is quite comfortable, which is a good thing as it certainly maintains a modern more or less minimalist style. The shop feels a bit empty though and I have found that some of the items are more stylish than comfy. Depends on your emphasis.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve waited 4 weeks to write this review to allow MADE to rectify their mistake. The first bed arrived damaged, I was offered a replacement bed with the promise the damaged bed will be collected at the same time. This was key as we had to sleep in the lounge on a mattress on the floor, as the bed had been set up in the bedroom. At this point, I was understanding as these things happen- no big deal. The problems started when the new bed arrived as the damaged bed was not collected at the same time as agreed. This was approx 4 weeks ago. The bed in all of its boxes is still in my hallway- fully blocking the hallway as it’s massive. MADE have still not collected the bed although I have been chasing them relentlessly. The tipping point for me is that I emailed a formal complaint and my complaint was completely ignored by the worst customer service advisor I’ve ever dealt with ‘Karin’. I read the terrible reviews before purchasing, contacted MADE through social media for some reassurance but I really wish I’d listened. It’s such a shame as there products are beautiful but the quality doesn’t match the price and to be honest is absolutely not worth the stress, the strain on my mental health and the struggle my family has had to go through for weeks not being able to use the only 3 rooms in the house. I would avoid this company at all cost. I will be voicing my experience on all platforms as this is no way to treat people. I have documented all email exchanges and have photos of the conditions we had to live in. I think I will dispose of the bed today and honestly wish i had weeks ago. A massive shame as we have just moved into our first home & had planned to furnish the property with MADE furniture.

I ordered a sofa from MADE in September and was charged £488. The sofa was initially due to arrive in October but it has been delayed FIVE times now. The customer service team cannot say when I should expect it to arrive. Please can this be sorted.

Unfortunately the 1* reviews are 100% correct. I’ve had several bad experiences with Made. Currently waiting for a refund on an item that was shipping on a certain date, then was delayed, then “shipped” and then turns out not even in stock (the day before presumed delivery). Hundreds of pounds on my credit card that I’ll have to pay for nothing. Not sure how it’s stayed in business this long. Stay well away.

After reading the reviews I was a bit worried about ordering from here, however I decided to give it a go and I was impressed!! So happy I ignored all the negative feedback because I LOVE the sofas. Deffo recommend. Staff were super friendly, dispatch and delivery was fast (2 weeks maybe less), customer service were easy to get through to. Nothing negative to mention here!

Truly appalling customer service and unfair returns policy. Bought a rucksack (£55), returned it but got charged a £10 'collection' fee (despite dropping it off at the post office myself, after initially paying a hefty £6 delivery) all because it was £5 into the next collection fee threshold? How is this even acceptable? 'Mo', a customer service assistant on their chatroom, was rude and unhelpful, and one time just cancelled the chat, so I had to restart it. I would avoid this company at all costs - I bought a piece of furniture from them before too, and not only is it bad quality (lower than IKEA, naff veneers), it took over double the given delivery time. Just bad. Really bad.

A complete scam and doesn’t try to help when things go wrong. They sent me a double bed when I ordered a king size, and when I queried it they assured me it was the right size and the instruction manual labelled it incorrectly, which led to me assembling the bed. Once assembled and measured, it was in fact, the wrong size. They then sent their delivery company to collect the bed but the guys didn’t have protective shoe coverings and it was raining outside so we had to reschedule. I requested they refund the bed in the meantime due to the delays from the collection and they refused. Absolute joke - worst experience ever. To make matters worse they no longer do the bed in a king size, so they offered me a refund. Wasted 3 months waiting for a bed that they don’t stock

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Nightmare. Ordered a desk and waited 4 weeks for delivery (had to take the day off work). The Desk arrives damaged. So a new desk was scheduled for delivery 2 weeks later together with the collection of the damaged desk. The replacement desk arrives......DAMAGED AGAIN. To top it off the courier said they could not take back the original desk so several weeks later and we still have a damaged desk sat in a huge box in the living room, no refund & now they expect us to ha third day off work for another courier to collect.

Good luck getting any customer service! Dining chairs "dispatched" 2 weeks ago and we're still waiting as delivery company are in fact delayed by only 4/6 chairs in stock. Modular sofa does not connect as it should, so pieces shifting all over! No reply to emails, telephone line rings and rings - no reply. Got in touch once on the phone...was assured everything would be handled and I would have a reply by noon. That was 5 days ago. No reply. Bitterly disappointing. Don't bother.

This is just a show room for an online furnite seller. But it is a good idea to have a central location where yoi can try the furniture before buying online. We did not buy yet, so cannot comment on service etc. However staff in the shop were quite helpful.

Tried to buy chairs on display showing a sale price. Told firstly they were sold out and unable to order as discontinued. Then told we could order them but not for 8 weeks. They would then take 10 weeks to arrive and we wouldn't have them until September! Um really? 4 dining chairs? Asked if we could buy the display chairs we were told no they go to charity. Obviously don't need or want to actually sell anything.

I ordered a couple of chairs from Made - had to reschedule the delivery several times but customer service was great each time. The chairs are also well made (wooden with metal legs). The reason I’ve given 2 stars is because of the INSANE amount of polystyrene packaging the chairs were delivered in which currently cannot be recycled. There’s enough to fill up two big black bin bags. I didn’t order fragile computers - I ordered sturdy chairs. There has to be a better more environmentally friendly way of packaging your products.

Really awful customer service. After a damaged product was delivered, the replacement is nowhere to be found weeks later and MADE is failing to respond to my requests for further information. 4 messages sent with no reply. The last phone call made resulted in 45 minutes of waiting online prior to speaking to anyone... Truly disappointing. We're now more than 3 1/2 months after the initial order was made, and MADE is failing time and time again to respond in a quick and qualitative manner.

Need to return 2 items and have not been able to do this and get our refund. The returns process is ridiculous - you are asked to generate a request for refund per item. We did this over a month ago and heard nothing. Appalling customer service - we have tried to call, sent emails and made contact via facebook page and nothing. Avoid avoid avoid! Completely agree with the 1 star reviews - if I could zero stars I would.

DO NOT order any furniture form this place. They take 6-8 weeks to deliver and they will not even bother to try and get it into the correct room. They will look at the space and say no it won’t fit without trying or measuring to get it into your property. We are disgusted with the service and now do not have the furniture in time for christmas. The delivery team were rude and will not work with you to help deliver the furniture you want into the correct room. When we raised this with Made they were not bothered either. Please do not order any furniture with this organisation it’s an utter disgrace. AVOID!

Experience like many other peoples - negative, all to do with delivery. Eventually got everything after failed delivery, internal mis-order and several weeks. (When phoning their delivery company has a recorded message from their CEO asking you not to be verbally abusive to their staff.)

We spent a month trying to find a suitable wardrobe to purchase and decided to order the Bourbon 3 Door Triple Wardrobe on the 29th September 2019 on Made. We were expecting the item to arrive in January 2020. The reason why we have ordered this item is because we are expecting a new baby. We wanted to organise everything in good time before the arrival of the baby in early March. However, when checking the delivery date for the wardrobe last month, we were told that the item would arrive on February 18th instead. This was already disappointing news but slightly manageable as it would be arriving during the half-term where we would have some time to organise everything. However, we are further disappointed by the news today that the item would be despatched on the 25th February (note despatched and not arrival of item). This is a 53 day delay - which is almost eight weeks - almost two months of delay! We have never experienced anything like this before. Consequently this means that we cannot prepare the nursery room in good time and there is a chance of baby arriving early! Baby's clothes are currently in vaccum bags on the floor. With only a month to go and considering that we spent an entire month to find the 'perfect' wardrobe, it is too late to cancel the order and it is too late to find a new wardrobe. Made offered to cancel the shipping fee of £39. We paid £899 for the wardrobe so £39 really is nothing. Eventually a £90 voucher was offered to us to spend on future products but with all due respect, we won't be shopping with Made again and therefore £90 is irrelevant to us. We have been shopping with Made over a number of years and have always had pleasant experiences. Unfortunately on this occasion, the service and management of this situation has been disappointing.

I was slightly concerned by the reviews having never used Made before, and can only tell you about my experience, but for what it’s worth it was great. I went to the store before buying and had some really helpful assistance while there. They didn’t have the exact item I’d seen online (Kitto sofa bed), but were able to show me a similar one. I know a lot of items appeared as 6-8 week delivery, but as it turned out this had a 1 week estimate and actually arrived one day earlier than originally estimated. The delivery folk unpacked it and took away the packaging. I’m a week in and really happy with the sofa, and would happily use Made again.

1st and last time I will order from this company, ordered a sofa and matching footstool at the same time, footstool delivered fine then they lost my sofa (after 3 months) and discontinued it so offered to refund but refused to refund the matching footstool I am now stuck with that wont match any other sofa, disgusting service

Nice furniture, but one bedside table was delivered late and one glass-fronted chest of drawers was delivered smashed. Ordered in June and replacement set to arrive in October! Spent a fortune on sofas, units and bedroom furniture but we received a very underwhelming customer service response.
