As most readers will know, customer service at Currys is very variable at best. But at this branch I was very pleasantly surprised. If you can catch Matt, you should find his knowledge of AV equipment is encyclopedic, and I thought he was both patient and extremely helpful.

Regular Curry's PC World. Was looking at monitors. Staff friendly abd ready to help as they were rather bored-looking..but I expect they are customer-friendly anyway. Monitor I was looking for cheaper online, but this is the reality nowadays, and one wonders how these chain stores keep running their business. They also have a gaming corner which I must try one day!

Reserved an item to collect from Tottenham court road store. The employee went to get it for me and disappeared for more than 25 minutes. Been waiting too long for no reason, while the store was completely empty. Unacceptable service, employees can't find the reserved items for the customers. At the end they found the item wasn't delivered at all. A manager suggested to reorder again!? Believed store collection is convenient , but the process went for ages. So frustrating experience.

**update*** I found out 6 months after RETURNING a laptop that they were charging me 10.00 QUID a month for a tech service I DIDN’t sign up for, 60£ wasted and wouldn’t refund me** quite upsetting. Nice guys but some have no clue what they’re doing. I smoothly and easily returned a netbook that wasn’t right for me, so that itself is why I’m recommending this place.

I have been using this store to return DPD parcels and it has been quite helpful. However recently, we ordered an Acer laptop and picked it up in store. It turned out that the item we picked up was not the same one we ordered online (according to the description on the box. We didn’t open the box). It was a 512GB SSD instead of the 1TB HDD + 256GB SSD we ordered. While the delivery note enclosed stated the right product number as the website, we assumed they might have put the WRONG DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT online. After great confusion we returned to the store again, and the staff said wrong information was probably given online. They said they would need 5 working days to inspect the issue; meanwhile, they let us to take the “wrong” laptop home but DO NOT open it during this time..... So we bought a laptop, and was probably given the wrong information on the website, and can not open & use it until they have inspected it, and will need to bring the laptop to the store again if they finally find the “right” one we ordered......

Unhelpful and clueless staff. No one works in the section you need and it's a bunch of them standing around talking. Walked in trying to buy 250pds headphones could not get anyone to help and I was there for atleast 40mins.worst customer service experimce ever!

I don't normally write reviews but after all the negative reviews I've read here I have to say they are warranted. I visited this store today after a visit yesterday. The attitude of staff, seems to be it's my way or the high way. Clearly this store cares nothing about sales, customer satisfaction or anything related to the customer. I would not recommend this place at all to buy items. You would get better customer satisfaction from any other store or just go online and buy what you need.

One of the few electronics and appliance stores remaining in London. Maplin and others are now gone, so Currys is the last one standing. Selection and service are good. They have a pc gaming area which is unusual but helpful for enthusiasts. The prices are competitive with online, in my view.

I came here to check out the latest Google products. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Google Shop also offers free training classed related to Google products (advance booking is essential). I really liked the interactive Google logo window display & free photo "booth" which can email the photos to your email address :) They also have a very cool interactive giant Google Maps screen and Gratify Wall where you can draw and doodle using a wireless spray device :) Thumbs up to Google section of the shop!

The worst customer service Lots of staff standing around doing nothing but talk to each other. You try to get someone’s attention but the say there busy and walk off in different directions I went in to buy a vacuum cleaner and air fryer and left with either because there was no assist.

Large PC world, offers click and collect which is the best way to buy from these guys, has a wide range of consumer pc’s, expensive consumables (avoid) and the usual array of middle of the road home tech. If you’re looking for something specific this probably won’t have it.

I brought a pair if headphones from there 2 years ago with insurance. For whatever reason, I have had to go back a couple of times to replace them and even 2 years on, I get a new pair of headphones or credit towards a more expensive pair. This process is so quick and so easy I am very happy I brought from this store. The staff are okay, some are not very knowledgeable or too warm (excluding the Google Store whose employees are of very high standard!). But their service is great, aftercare for me has been refreshing and I go to this store for my digital needs

very good if ur to poor to buy a gaming pc + monitor (which lots of people are) u can play for a hour on them (it says) they have a sorts of gaming pcs like msi and alienware and they have pre-downloaded games. If you see a pc that is logged off and u want to use it u just ask the staff and they will give u the password. ;)

Fairly old style store, which now seems rather empty of things that I'd like to buy with the emphasis shifting towards cameras, phone and gaming technology. Useful as a place to take your equipment in for repair and to buy staples like paper, printers, memory cards, but rather soulless.

Pretty impresive looking Shop ...with most goods out of stock ! Just wasted time and money heading into the West End to pick up an item reserved online only to be told it's not there ..on speaking to the manager Peter ..who was standing by relatively uninterested when I was asking why this happened he replied ..its not only you...this happens all the time ? REALLY ??? Cant recommend this branch..service poor staff pretty miserable , manager had to be reminded he should apologise for wasted trip....and did so only begrudgingly...reminds me why I shop at John Lewis . Never again????

A huge store offering a wide variety of brands and accessories alongside them. The only downside is the lack of staff as well as their attentiveness. During our visit, we had a hard time trying to find an employee to help us. Even while being served, they didn't seem like they wanted to be there....must be the heat...

I got in, i picked the laptop that i wanted , just to be passed from one customer assistant to another for more than an hour, while 3 of them were just walking around doing nothing. Totally not worth spending 850£ on a laptop in there being treated like that. So i just added another 50£ and got the same laptop from a different place. I wouldn’t get there even if it s the last place that has what i need.

Do you shopping elsewhere. My orders was guaranteed for next day delivery but this delivery was apparently cancelled without anyone bothering to update me until I had spent 2 hours being ignored in the store. Don't expect Curry's to be reasonable or courteous if you need a refund due to the missed shipment.

Pathetic customer service, staff just milling around and seem genuinely disappointed when approached, then just fob you off to another equally unimpressed member of staff who’s enthusiasm for their job is only surpassed by their lack of knowledge on actual products. The icing on the nightmare experience is the ridiculous waiting time to pay them money so you can leave. With employees like this I can see why their online service is so popular.

Zero customer service. Staff ought to be trained about providing customer service. They all look miserable. Not impressed by Curry’s PC World as an employer. I was in store for 30’ and not once was I asked whether I needed assistance. I will be buying my headphones elsewhere. I am not surprised the store is empty
