Went to take a look at laptops and the salesperson was helpful with their recommendations given the preferences I relayed. As I was still browsing, they gave me time and space to look around at different laptops and explained in the best layman terms what each specs of the laptop mean whenever prompted.

Gerald at Carphone Warehouse, thank you. I was replacing a mobile I'd had for 4 years and Gerald was the most helpful, knowledgeable, considerate and friendly member of staff imaginable. I left feeling I'd found the right mobile to last 4 more years, and had it on the best deal possible. Great customer service from everyone there.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I bought a product that turned out to be faulty. They took the product back and told me I'd be notified to collect a replacement. All good so far..... Then I heard nothing, and a month later I got in touch online and was told it would be a little longer. I then spent 3 months chasing them for an update, although the product was in stock online and in-store I was told to wait and that I'd receive an email to collect within a week and once within 24hrs. This happened 3 times to no avail. It has now been 4 months that I have been waiting, the product has been in stock for all of that time. I was told to speak to there customer service on the phone. I have a few times now and been put on hold only to be disconnected without speaking to anyone. This is the worst customer service I have ever received and I am still waiting for a replacement... And I am constantly chasing them to no avail.... Shocking.

Had a really great experience here. Was buying a TV for the first time and Zed, one of the staff members, was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me work out exactly what I needed. He was patient, really knew his stuff and gave exactly the advice that somebody new to TVs needed to here! So excited to try my new TV out!

The customer service there isn’t helpful at all , I went there expecting help with one of my orders but all the manager did was to evade me off , didn’t offer help. Currys is pathetic , after sales support is worst , I would advice not to buy anything from them.

Visited this store as had issues placing an order online. The customer service in store is terrible and they told me to call their customer service line but after 45 minutes on hold was cut off. The manager was particularly unhelpful. Would advise against shopping here better off paying a bit extra elsewhere with a company that have a competent customer service department.

Wish there was a wider selection of laptops available and up to date with stock. I settled on a laptop only to find out it wasn't available anywhere which begs the question why it was on display at all. Service however was friendly, seems that some staff could be more knowledgeable about the devices.

Had to spend 45 minutes on customer service due to a lack of knowledge by members of store. Not much help from Zed but maybe because of Covid workers have been not on their best form. Finally got help from Saii. Probably won’t shop here again. My laptop is still not working. Chaotic store

I came to this branch yesterday and today regarding my laptop. A lovely member of staff, by the name of Saii was really generous, friendly and helpful with setting up my laptop. She was quick and It didn't take long. I had a lovely experience at this curry’s store. Will definitely come again!!!

I recently purchased a new phone here and despite the new restrictions and rules around the ongoing pandemic, the staff customer service here was absolutely superb.???????? Zed was exemplary and looked after me, setting my new phone up for almost 45 minutes discussing a plethora of phone related options. This shop is extremely popular and there are plenty of staff to assist you with whatever you're needs. Being able to pay by credit card and cash was a real help since some stores will not take any cash anymore ????

Recently i visited this store to pre-order Samsung note 20 ultra. Phone was listed on display in the store. Phone was available for pre booking on their website too. Still staff was struggling to find the phone on website. First of all they knew nothing about the phone. Secondly staff doesn't know properly how their online system work. They just said they can't pre order this phone as its yet not available for pre booking. But it was clearly listed on website for pre booking. Not only this, i had one4all cards which i wanted to use for this purchase, non of the staff member knew how to use that card in their system. After realising that these people know nothing, i had to leave the store and then visited another Curry's store which was 0.5 miles away and placed my order.

Terrible experience in the Carphone warehouse section. I asked for a tempered glass screen protector for my phone and was simply pointed to the direction where it was. Shop is not following social distancing and I had to navigate through 3 people clustered together to reach the screen protectors. Upon finding the item I wanted, it was held in place with a security tag so I had to navigate back to a staff member who was in the Currys section as the Hijab wearing girl who worked for Carphone warehouse was becoming increasingly rude, sharp and irritated towards a customer who simply asked for help. She stormed off and went directly to her manager and was complaining of the customer so I had to go into the Currys section and ask the girl who worked there (also a hijabi, but actually helpful) to help me get the screen protector out. So we come back to the section (through a cluster of people, again!) And look for the one I had seen for my phone (Samsung Galaxy), the girl who worked in the Currys section asked the one who worked in Carphone warehouse if they had a screen protector for my phone to which she sharply replied "no we don't" this is despite me literally finding it there. So I point it out and the Currys girl brought it out. I asked if the tempered glass would work with my phone as it has an on screen fingerprint sensor and the ones I tried before did not work and they said they were unsure but it "should" do. To add insult to injury, if the item did not work they would NOT give me a refund. Whilst this is all going on, the Carphone warehouse girl comes and has a rant at me about how Samsung already provide screen protectors already and it's fitted on by default, when I responded that to replace a screen can cost up to £500, she has a go at me all over again about how Samsung already provide screen protectors. After that, I just left the screen protector there and left the store and went over to Samsung store and got my screen protector fitted there. More expensive, but I didn't have to deal with employees who clearly hate their jobs and customers. Bottom line is: Don't take your bad day out on the customers! And to all customers who read this review, DO NOT, under any circumstances ask the hijabi girl in Carphone warehouse for any help whatsoever as she will just ruin your whole day.

Purchased a Samsung TV during the Black Friday sale from this store with exceptional assistance by 25 TASNIM. Tasnim approached me without any hesitation in a professional manner having identified that I was looking for help, while her colleagues where all hanging about as if it’s some kind of youth club with their unprofessional man bags around their shoulders. Tasnim dealt with me at the nearest kiosk, advised me on KnowHow products and even convinced me to buy additional cover which protects me from damage. Very reliable and excellent sale.

Horrendous experience. I was in London with a friend and their Macbook broke and they needed a replacement as they were doing a presentation the following day. Looked on google times to be told that the store closes at 8.30pm. Got there at 8.12pm and the doors were shut with a security guard waving us to go away. When we tried to communicate through the door that their closing time was 8.30pm we were laughed at. A pc world rep then came over and "flicked the V's" at us too. I wrote a complaint to PC world and it was not even responded to other than "we think the time on google we right and we are sorry you couldn't spend money in our store". A company of this size really needs to do some better customer service training.

This branch of Currys PC World has a decent range of laptops, phones, electronic equipment and accessories. Staff are friendly and it's a nice atmosphere to browse and try out products. You will find more choice and have more space to browse by going to one of the larger branches as this one is mid-size and in one of the busiest shopping areas of London. It you have an idea of what you want to buy and popular products will need your needs this shop is great.

How Companies behave in challenging times show their true values DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY Have waited 3 weeks to have 2 appliances installed and paid up front. 2 deliveries were unsuccessful, the first as 'they could not park' the second as 'we had the wrong hinge for the fridge we ordered'. The third time they just left a Fridge/freezer and dishwasher in our living room having outsourced a delivery company to just drop them off without letting us know. Having paid for delivery, installation and recycling, we then had to pay someone else to install and another company to recycle which was all arranged the same day and incidentally cheaper as well. Turns out you can park and also a hinge can be moved in under 5 mins.By someone capable. THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY I have been calling every day and been on hold for over an hour to try and be refunded which I am still waiting for. Will now be forced to take legal action against this scam of a company. Do not make the same mistake and pass this on to anyone else that is considering ordering from them.

The most disorganized shop in town. Every one gave me a different piece of information regarding the "Microsoft surface deal" I was so distressed that I left and bought the same laptop for a lower price at Argos. You should learn customer service rather than bull the clients. I will not return!

Staff are absolutely useless. Came into this store with my mother, who was looking for a UK to Euro adapter. We asked a member of staff if they sold any, the guy didn't even answer us, just looked at us, got on his phone and made a call while walking away. Eventually he came back, while still talking on the phone and avoiding eye contact, and handed us a regular ol' surge protector. He then walked away again, this time for good. Didn't utter a single word to either of us. We left and got an adapter from across the road.

They were not helpful when I asked for help I had to find my own way and get what I was looking to buy and that is what I did, I was desperate fortunately I looked around and found it by myself . A good customer service would have been a bonus !
