Came in there willing to spend up to £1000 on a suitable laptop. The staff were stood around no one would help me,one girl came over to help and then walked off and was talking to a colleague so rude!! I managed to get another guy to help but he just wanted me to buy the most expensive so he could get his sales targets up it’s a bit of a joke really.I will buy online and research the product myself next time

Plenty of staff but in my experience buying apple products they were lacking knowledge or enthusiasm.

The force you to get the care plan even if you say no 3-4 times. After that, you need to call to cancel each care plan for each product. Bought two laptops, had to call twice and the service is horrendous. I highly recommend you buying somewhere else.

They were unhelpful and I had to walk out because none of the available CSR bothered to help at all. Absolutely useless, were too preoccupied talking amongst themselves.

Well, this might have been a one time thing but I recently purchased a laptop from them and while finalising one, I asked the sales person if the model I am buying has backlight keyboard or not, he assured me that it has, the demo piece that was there doesn't have it for some reason but my laptop would have it and I took his word for it, but to my surprise the keyboard was not backlight. Idk if he said it just to make the sale or he actually didn't know about it. If it's the former, I really think PC world should do something about it and if it's the latter, they should better train their employees.

Bad service here. Left waiting for ages. Then they didn’t honour an online trade-in deal for a new Apple Watch as their system was out of date. Said they could try to send a service request off and I could try again in a couple of days. I went directly to the Tottenham Court Road store (opposite Warren Street station) and they were much more helpful, honoured the online posted deal and I walked out with the new watch 10 mins later!

Absolute deceit. Bought a Dell Inspiron 13 5000 and the machine is barely capable of running Windows. Both PC Curry´s and Dell washed their hands and the most likely reason is because both knew this but still had to move stock to consumers like me. I won´t be buying a Dell ever again, that´s for sure, but also as a former chooser of PC Curry´s, won´t ever return there and have become an advocate against this brand. Not so much for the poor computer, which can happen, but for the lousy and deceitful customer experience.

I bought a £250 pair of headphones that don't work. Tried it both on my laptop and my phone, the connectivity is not working. They refused to exchange it, 250 pounds in the trash. Nice.

If you want to buy Microsoft computer, avoid doing it with PC WORD, they sold me faulty computer on the 19 Dec, when I went back to return the computer they ask me to keep it for few more days, the problem seems to stop but mostly because I hardly used it, when I went to put all my data in the computer on the 7th February 7 weeks after buying the screen started to flick and then the computer went dead, I went back to PC WORD in Fulham, and they ask me to go to High Street Kensington because they were closing down, in High Street Kensington the manager said he was happy to change it but that they didn't have it in stock, they ordered in Oxford Street storage but I was shocked when they also said they can't do anything about apart of sending it to repair and that it will take between 4 to 6 weeks. I have refused to send new computer to repair, as it was not my fault and they should exchange it for new one under the law Customers Consumer Rights . The 3 branches drove me crazy , so rude some of them, lying in my face , and Arrogant s, specially the manager in Oxford Street, I told them that I will contact Customers Consumer Rights, which I did. I also went to Microsoft Shop in Oxford Street as I did not know where to go, PC WORD phone line was impossible to talk to anyone,Microsoft Store in Oxford Street, have agreed to exchange the computer, we were both shock they did not do it and that they look in to it,I was getting charge £10.99 monthly for a service for Customer support agreement but they don't really provide anything, Microsoft told me the computer is cover for 1 year already from the day of the purchase, and that it was no need to pay as they can check any issues for no charge for one year, PC WORD ASKED to go and ask Microsoft to resolve the problem!!!so why I am paying the £10.99 then? as they couldn't do it. On top of that, the person who sold me the computer added in my bill, £213.99,anti Virus which I never asked for, I have already mine that expiry in 08.2020, set up which I did my self, and knowhow cloud. Thank GOd I checked my bill on time and i got refunded £213,99 for the extra charge and received apologise. I have lost my trust on them,NEVER EVER I WILL BUY FROM THEM AGAIN, they are very fast to take your money but when is an issue they all hide. Disgusting

Miss sold a SIM card online and though promised money would be refunded by going to the above shop where they said the funds would be sent “in a few days”, have never received. Shoddy, avoid.

Came in today to buy headphones. I expected to walk out and was ready to spend the £300 to make a purchase. I left disappointed. Nobody seemed to understand the product enough to answer my simple questions. I told them I’m ready to make a purchase if someone could help. Their response? Maybe I can ask a friend who owns a pair.

I reserved a Thunderbolt 2 to Ethernet adapter online to collect from the Oxford Street store same day. It turns out that they didn't have any in stock but didn't know this. Told me to wait, then "just get one off the shelf" - which there were none. Then I was told to go to the Tottenham Court Road shop, which I did. None there. Called the Oxford Street back and they said it should be ready to collect, so I walked back only to be told they didn't have it.

This is one of their flagship stores on Oxford Street. But it certainly doesn't feel like it. They have the entire second floor dedicated to home electronics and photography. I'd personally like more laptop & computer stuff.

There was 5 people standing around doing nothing while I had to watch the person who was helping me assist his colleague put a bandaid on his very minor wound. The guy who was helping me was helping me was new but the manager could have been more helpful and maybe, oh I don't know, administered first aid instead of talking. I was exchanging my phone and she was very condescending/unprofessional in how she delivered the return policy ... I quote " we'll do it this time but no more changing your mknd, you hear?" .... Then she went back to chatting with the staff. I'll never come back here that's for sure

Too many staff pestering me with questions regarding my needing of help. I am looking at a thing. If I have a question about the thing I'm sure I can bring it to you or Google it. In one 5 minute visit I was approached by three members of staff, all otherwise idle. Please allow me to browse in peace.

The most RACIST store I’ve ever been to on the Oxford Street. It closes at 8:30pm but stops us entering at 8:15pm. Interestingly, all the western customers are allowed to enter after 8:15, but only us (Asian customers) are stopped at the gate. Such an impressive store that we will never visit again.

Higher prices than available online at various retailers. Useful in a pinch. Staff are un attentive and seem to be playing on their phones while you wait for them to notice you. Seems to be a high staff count for customer numbers.

Absolutely useless... Ordered and paid online for a item to be collected in store and the item never turned up at the store the next day... Advertising online is false. Naz at the store was rude and not helpful at all, kept me standing around for 30+ Mins while she was just on the phone and I was waiting for a refund. Don't bother, currys don't care....

A very good place to spend your monies in tech items. A massive challenge to return items that are faulty or broken. Prepare yourself for first a long wait at the tills and don't expect very good customer service as the stuff is overworked and after mid day they loose the interest in helping the clients.
