I have been renting with Graves for a few years now and they are the best out there in Brighton and Hove. I have rented with a few companies before and have not had the same kind of service. Tracey Groves and Matthew are amazing and they are aways on hand for any problems or help that you need. Their response time is so fast to fix any issues that arise and the relationship that has been built with them would mean I wouldn't want to rent with anyone else. They really are true professionals and have helped me a lot on my property journey. Totally rate them.

The team members that support us have changed on occasion but the level of service does not diminish. Having rented in the Brighton and Hove area, for in excess of 10 years, myself and my partner were both very much under the impression that, the agents were not at all bothered about their tenants, nor how the landlords treat their tenants.
This could not be further from how Graves Son & Pilcher go about business.
The professionalism of their staff, the responsiveness to queries and issues and the approach to supporting rental tenants is like no other agent. Truly the best agents in the Brighton & Hove area. We have felt listened to and supported with any issues (none through fault of Graves Son and Pilcher). Communication has always been prompt and efficient.

I have rented a flat from Graves for 7 years now in Hove. They have always treated me with respect which as a long standing renter I have not experienced very often elsewhere. Rent rises have been infrequent and reasonable with good communication. They have agreed to make improvements to my flat as well as being responsive to repair requests.
Easily the best agent I've let from.

I am currently on the market with this company and now experiencing problems with them. Our property had been valued previous to contacting them but not on the market. We were looking for a quick sale obviously at a fair price but willing to take a drop in exchange for the quick sale. We talked through and showed the valuation which we had and they agreed was accurate and achievable but in order to get most interest advertise the property considerably lower to attract most potential viewers (as this they stated was their tried and tested method.) The problem we now have is we explained to them the lowest price we could afford to sell our property for (£12,000 lower than the valuation report) but the offers we are receiving are around the price they have it advertised (£25,000 lower than the valuation report) viewers are expressing things like - 'Wow we thought there was some thing major wrong with it being marketed so cheap' etc but they are obviously only able to place offers in the region they can afford i.e. savings or mortgaged offered. These offers are not hitting out minimum and yet Express are advising us to take each one as our property has been over valued. Yet they agreed with the valuation!!! Also with the useful tool of the Internet I have been able to track my area and see properties both marketed and selling for the prices we were looking to achieve. I believe this firm to be mainly interested in hitting sales targets and not achieving what is best for the people using the service as even purchasers are being misled by the low marketing price. I would love to be able to sell my property so cheap and give someone a real bargain and foot on the property ladder unfortunately unable to do so. I feel so let down by this company and stuck with them for a 12-week sole agency term before I can do anything about it. I would not recommend them at all; they state high street estate agents over value property in order to get your custom, well guess what so do they as they sat in our house and agreed it was all achievable and within days!

A really fantastic, friendly and efficient letting agents! They were incredibly helpful when I needed to move quickly from my previous property and have continued to be brilliant ever since. After reporting some issues in my bathroom, they had a plumber contact me that very day and sorted the issue very quickly. I would highly recommend them to anyone :)

They have looked after me when problems have occurred and Anna in particular has always been friendly, approachable and very efficient in her dealings with me, which makes life so much easier. I would recommend renting through this company to anyone.

Staff are always helpful and professional and the accounting department always pay me correctly and on time! (unlike several others..)
