As a multi-property landlord (using several other letting-agents) I decided to try Justin Lloyd with just one of my flats.
Their marketing was quick and professional, a tenant was found within days, the reporting and communication is excellent, and the rental payment is usually received immediately - far quicker than any other of the agents I currently use.
When I decided to sell one of my portfolio, I chose to use Justin Lloyd's Hove sales division; result - buyer found in three days and the sale agreed at above the asking price.
Eight months later, I placed another property on the market (Brighton team this time) and got exactly the same level of professional and efficient service, and another buyer secured (at full asking price) within a matter of days.

Probably the best letting agency experience i've ever had. The staff here are well organised, punctual and on the whole very helpful! Stephanie in particular has been an excellent go to for managing our tenancy and sorting any issues we had and Anne was fantastic at sorting out the end of tenancy process. Great estate agents . We changed to them after being several months but no bites with a different estate agent in Kemp Town who were supposedly the best . This was all down to the persistence of Annie who wouldn’t take no for an answer . They got us two offers within two weeks of our property being on their books and this was in November, not known as the best selling month . Luke was brilliant and not too tall after all !

Nick, Helen, Lutfi and all the team were great. The buyer of my house was quite frustratingly slow but they were always clear and let me know the situation. At first I put my flat on the market with a few other agents, which I regretted. The other agents over promised and set up lots of viewings that I tidied up for and then didn't tell me about all the cancellations. Justin Lloyd were great. None of that nonsense. I'd recommend them.

The property that we purchased was originally marketed with another EA, but we did not like their pushy style so we didn't go for it. However, we were glad to see that the property was re-marketed with Justin Lloyd at a later date as they have always been very helpful and polite on the phone.
Nick Kelly was the person who handled our purchase, we got nothing but praise for him! We were first time buyers but Nick made the whole process as stress-free as it could be. We were kept informed the whole time and we really appreciated that! There were hiccups along the way, but Nick was always at the end of the phone when we needed him and he always got back to us promptly.

How satisfying is it to deal with a team of professionals! If you are looking to sell your property I couldn't recommend Justin Lloyd any higher. Clear communication, they do not pressure you into signing exclusivity agreements or try to convince you in handing over large sums of money to sell for you. Very smooth process. Gary and Lutfi in particular did a smashing job! Will definetely use again!

Paid a reservation fee of £300 to reserve a flat, was told it would be taken off the market. Few hours later was told someone else somehow got into the process as well, and the landlord would decide who got the flat. They got it because of paying a one year rent upfront. Very disappointing considering it was supposed to be reserved.

We had a rental with Justin Lloyd and they were completely pointless as we never heard from them. Not only that, but when it was time to return the keys they did not contact us. We then tried to contact them, but there was no answer so we left a message saying that we would put the keys through their letterbox and to call us back if that was an issue. We did not hear anything so we posted the keys after confirming that this would be OK with the landlady.
It turns out that they have either lost the keys or had them stolen from the premises! They have completely shirked their responsibility, will not pay for new locks, and have even failed to call the police. We are now in the process of splitting the cost of fitting the locks with the landlady, as she is at her wits end with them.
We are lodging a complaint with the management, but I have little hope of this being resolved.
Basically, typical estate agents.

Vendors beware. The lowest by a big margin out of 4 valuations from local agents (have since secured a private buyer for more than £90k than Justin Lloyd's valuation). Worryingly unprofessional service (didn't appear to understand difference between freehold and leasehold, and hadn't noticed that we had central heating).
