I bought my first flat with Parkers, abd after 4 years also sold it through them too.
I was impressed then at how they operated, but especially now I've had the misfortune of dealing with other agents (in other parts of the country, else I'd be back with Parkers!), I can honestly say they are the best estate agents I've ever used.
Thank you for being so trustworthy, please can you show other agencies how they should be operating.

I had sold 2 of my investment properties they maintained for me, Parkers gave me the correct advise on the market rate for Sale value and found Buyers very quickly. Somer Jones from Parkers has provided a great service by promptly updating on progress of Sale. I would recommend Parkers for both Buy to Let Maintenance and in Selling the houses

Please watch out you will be trapped with illegal practises in Parkers reading. I was a Tenant and they take heavy checkin and check out charges but the house was given in shabby conditions with 70 page report of all issues on the day of checkin. My kids fell sick because of dust and mould in the house and no one in parkers cared about us and one day gas leaked and I had to call emergency. There was no Gas check report in the house and response from Parkers was poor because they don't care for human life. They clearly confirmed that they make money from tenants and will always be favouring the owner because its revenue generation and thay have to be in good books of owner. The check out was also not professional and they will Rip of the advance payment even though I got the cleaning done from their authorised cleaning agency. It was a hard struggle to go to Ombutsman and they will not tell you on the process. This is the reality that people should know on how illegal practises happen in Parkers Reading before taking any house on rent.

I initially used Parkers as a tenant when I first moved to Reading and I was impressed with their professionalism and fairness to tenants. When I was looking for an agent to manage a Buy-to-Let property a couple of years later they were the obvious choice. They are extremely professional and look after my property excellently. I only really deal with Mark Brooker, Sophie Green and Karen Pownall, who are all faultless and efficient.

We have been very pleased with the service we received from Parkers. We found Somer, our sales progressor to be highly proficient, extremely responsive and super-helpful. She was always really cheerful throughout the process and nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She was a vital link to the solicitors, mortgage brokers and buyers and it was reassuring to have regular updates on the progress of the sale. I would happily reccommend Parkers to friends and family.

I have been letting properties in Reading as a landlord for over 20 years and moved to Parkers a few years ago after being increasingly disillusioned with poor and unprofessional letting agents in Reading. To date Parkers have outshone the opposition by some margin and so far have not given me cause to complain. They seem to be much better organised than my previous letting agencies and I have had no disasters with them - which is a lot more than I can say with the others I used!

Horrible service. Will give no star if I could. After accepting my offer then secretly sold the property to others without letting me know. When I asked for an explanation, different people working there lied in various ways including saying that they have informed my solicitor. And I went back to my solicitor and she had no idea and was stilling preparing paper work for my exchange.
Avoid it.

I have absolutely no complaints about our experience of buying through Parkers. All staff were friendly and helpful, someone always picks up the phone, organising last minute viewings was no problem and I'll echo everyone else's comments that Damien was a real asset to ensuring that things went through smoothly. We would most likely choose to sell through them if and when the time comes.

Parkers Estate Agency is good in terms of service, committment etc.
I wish Parkers should also guide the new tenants moving into the new property ex. how to operate heating systems etc. Tenants come from different part of the world so it becomes necessary for agency to include this in their services too.
