Went here today as lockdown eased. Good social distancing in place, cheap and decent food and drink. The pub is well-managed, I live on the next street over and can't hear anything which is odd for a Spoons with a late licence. Not much else there is to it really!

Food very nice with option of vegetarian and vegan choices.
On the heart of Hove.
Vast selection of drinks .
Good for the pocket.
Take in consideration of the fact there is no music banging on your hears could be perfect for meet people .
After 4 in the afternoon easy to park .
Very close to buses and taxi ranks.
Two minutes from main supermarkets .

Erm...popped in for a cup of coffee after a long day out. The staff were friendly enough. Fantastic coffee. Don't get me wrong I am not a pub expert (I don't drink alcohol) but I have visited several Wetherspoons over the years. This has to be the most poorly kept Wetherspoons I have ever visited. It looks like it has been neglected...not seen a drop of paint in years. The toilets were in need of a good clean. The tables were quite battered as were the booth seating. Still happy with the lovely strong coffee but not really a comfortable place to visit. Desperately needs a touch of TLC. ????♀️

I ordered a chicken combo and I received and paid for a rib combo which I cannot eat as I do not eat pork, so firstly I didn't get what I asked for, secondly I paid more than what it costs by £5 and thirdly they refused to change it or give me a refund or give me the food I did order! Really bad service, I always go to whetherspoons and all is good but this one thinks it can take advantage of the covid rules to make more money. They didn't tell me how much anything was they said they didn't know and they just came with the card reader got me to pay and that was that.
If you want bad dry overpriced food as well as terrible service where they get your order wrong and tell you to deal with it then go here!

Have always enjoyed their steak diners on a Tuesday , only been twice since they opened up again went 3 weeks ago very impressed with everything never seen so clean waiters cleaning the tables after people leaving . We went there last Tuesday disappointed nobody cleaning the tables, food excellent drinks good.

It's a 'Spoons', don't expect anything special. The beer is cheap and the food is reasonably priced for what you get. It has all the atmosphere of a caravan Park, because it is a drinking room and not a pub.
That said the staff are friendly and very efficient the whole place is kept as clean as it possibly can be given be the volume of turnover.
A bit of effort from the customers using the place to help keep it clean would help a very pressed staff group who are really trying their very best.
I would certainly go back again.

Staff on the door a bit more curt than we are used to in a Spoons even considering we are dealing with c19. You can order soda water instead of going to the bar, but... as a mixer only. It will not come separately. Stained seats, and scratty dirt in corners of seats and floor - doesnt look like it's had a good clean in a while.

This is a Spoons and delivers a solid level of quality and quantity. It's like jumping back 10 years compared with everywhere else. Latte £1.45 and as many refills as you like - free. The breakfasts look great and again are a great price.
This one has an old fashioned pub ambience, it's really spacious and there are newspapers if you fancy a read. It's been chilled in the mornings I've been in, really nice place to take a break.

The men's toilets absolutely stink and it wafts throughout the main bar!!! Urrrgghh . Unfortunately the food is great for the price, guess you wait til summer and you can enjoy it outside.

If you for cheap deals on beer and spirits, this is the place to go. The down side it's a chain brewery pub. So expect the exact menu for food and drink for chain own pubs. Staff are hard working and active to serve. The staff are pretty friendly. The food is average and again the same menu types you expect for steak, pies, fish and chips. Nothing fancy or delicious to tempt the taste buds. Basically, if you seek cheap booze and do not expect a challenging menu for food. This is a place maybe for you.

I mean, I go in here for a cheap fry up every so often. I'm a single male in his mid thirties. The place is packed full of miserable old men on their jack jones drinking pints at 8.30am. I can't help but look at them and imagine myself in 30 or so years in the same position. It's enough to put you off your food to be honest. Fry up good, visions of a soul crushing future of loneliness and alcoholism not so much. Ketchup is free though.

I think this is an amazing pub/ restaurant For all the family lots of great cheap drinks food is really fantastic for the price!! Including yr drink!!!!!! ???????????? Staff are great welcome in kind and friendly in many years I have been drinking down here I have never once seen a fight it is just a normal sort of local pub...... good food good value well worth a visit!!!!
