Service was a bit slow and then hilariously breakfast arrived with the message that there was no bread available for toast. Breakfast was only moderately warm. Maybe the microwave was broken!! Definitely won't be returning. A poor overall experience

Tons of souvenir products are in the store, they are interesting and unique, super cheap prices

Know your table number or end up searching for it in the rain! Good service, sensible system due to the corona virus, good food for the price. App works well for the most part if slightly worse options than ordering at the bar. Worth a visit.

Very good breakfast. Obviously a very popular establishment as both times we went it was busy! Only criticism was l ordered hot chocolate and there was none in the machine and they had run out. So had a latte instead.

Decent spoons but a little more pricey than the other spoons located closer to the beach but it makes up for it as it's bigger and quieter. 50% off made food practically free so I can't complain and the drinks are what you'd expect. Staff are friendly and it's a good atmosphere as a result of great staff. Only downside is that it's a spoons and social distancing isn't as great as I'd like.

This is a bog standard Weatherspoons. If you enjoy your weekend pub grub then this place is fantastic. Only one gripe where they forgot to bring out a portion of chips and a sauce but other than that very nice and easy experience and very covid compliant.

A nice large Weatherspoons pub. There are two levels and plenty of space. Good service from the team. We used the app to order over several hours and drinks were always perfect.

well organised, moderated and busy bar and restaurant. Service was prompt according to a popular Friday venue and the food was delicious.

This is a typical W pub...usual crowd of 'Wethered' faces, younger budget drinkers and craft beer searchers. I am a big fan of the democratisation of booze despite the inevitable consequences of over indulgence. I was after a pizza as they are excellent but this branch had run out if dough, or at least the wheat variant if dough. Gas to settle for a burger. Still decent and service recovery was excellent. Rock on Brighton!

It was quite good but very little choice of real ale available.

A large 'Spoons' with all the relevant things you come to expect from the chain. Good food at a good price and a decent selection of beers. If you like the chain you will like this place.

Spent the evening in Brighton due to work and headed straight for Wetherspoons as it was Steak Night, Nice lively pub over two floors very busy as expected, I found a table and ordered everything via the App, service was quick and food was delicious, the steak in my opinion was cooked to perfection all washed down with Ruddles 10/10

As always with any Weatherspoon, good food at unbelievably low prices. Covid aware and good service.

Nice decor, friendly staff. It's a spoons so you know what you're getting. What I don't get is why it's more expensive than my local weatherspoons just for being in Brighton? Eurgh. Still affordable compared to other pubs though.

Visited when staying in Brighton. Good breakfast and coffee. Location is ideal as it was near to the Premier Inn city centre hotel and just a few minutes walking distance. Plenty of seating area and allows you to order from the Wetherspoons mobile app. Recommend!

It was the first day of new restrictions & everything was organized as expected & done with good faith on greet, meet & service. 4 Star only because of slight loss of freedom due to gov rules, nothing to do with establishment or staff.

I would give it zero stars but i have to give one as a minimum to write a review which is a shame. Me and 2 friends, attended the pub last night, it was the worst experience ever as they let us sit on a table that they didnt clean after previous customers and not serve us for at least an hour, when we tried to get there attention to serve us they ignored us and walked away, eventually when our drinks got served they served them in the wrong glasses without straws to mix the drinks, so I had to go to bar to get straws as a person who is exempt the bar lady and the barman, in a high tone voice shouted at me where is my mask, when I explained to 2 other staff members that im exempt previously. I said to them I was just getting straws and they wrongfully accused me of causing an argument when all I was doing was picking up a few straws as we had already been waiting for 5 minutes at this for someone to get them for us. Also the toilets were disgusting they had not been cleaned for a while, they need more staff if this is how they are going to serve, Clearly the staff need more training aswell what a shame. Please avoid as you will be disappointed

Wetherspoons covid precautions very good. Wish I could say same about app ordering. Had issues when in Eastbourne and same here. Partner eventually got it right but entered debit card, but app did not say until debit card details entered. Si had to use mine. App not that user friendly for second use. Maybe need more practice. Not that easy to update quantities if you over order.

Ok felt safe inspite of being busy but one thing I did notice was tables were not sanitised between users consistently. This could be easily spotted by a simple notice placed on tables saying awaiting cleaning do not use.

A Wetherspoons pub in a former bank building. The name comes from the local newspaper office which stood at number 55a and was presumably demolished to make way for the bank to be built, way back in the early 1900's. Staff friendly and helpful. Always a good price for beers etc and the food offering. Has two floors so if it seems busy when you enter go upstairs where there's the usual Wetherspoons 4 seater and table bays.

Not the best example of whetherspoons. But due to the pandemic, I don't think its as good as it could be. But its adequate for a cheap meal. Limited range of drinks

I love the atmosphere, a good old pub like i like them. The prices are very competitive too and it is quite very practical to order and pay via their app.

Manager was very rude to us. We received a few drinks that we accepted because we were playing 'The wetherspoons game' so we thought it was for us. Manager came and told us we had to pay and we accepted even if we considered that it wasn't our fault as the waiter didn't even asked us. At the same time the rude manager brought security to forced us to pay in the same moment like if we were to leave without paying for the drinks. We will never go again to this wetherspoons.

Quick service. Some food arrived lukewarm which was disappointing. Corrected swiftly though. Burger average but what you'd expect from a wetherspoons.

We just left the weatherspoon pub the bright helm as we waited over 20 mins for our drink and thought it was worth trying this pub. For the same order ordered the same way only 3 minutes and the pub is busier. Plus staff have great attitude. This is the different a great manager and floor team makes on its customers. And yes slightly sad I timed the order but was so infuriated at the last weatherspoons I wanted to see how it compared. If you have a choice it’s this pub all day every day.

Unsure about this one to be honest. It's a spoons and they're all very similar. My friend went to the toilet here and there was poo on the floor though so only 3 stars for me. Plus spoons pubs never play music and this one doesn't play sport.

Not a bad weatherspoons been in worse food was ok, as usual the drinks are good value and the staff are friendly. Excellent location especially when you’ve booked early and got a good deal at premier and inn. Looking forward to breakfast in the morning hope it’s good.

Best one ive ever been to in uk. There taking corona virus track and trace seriously and still managing to provide a great service. A complete contrast to the other weatherspoon up the road. The post and telegraph is a perfect example of what weatherspoons should be.
