Always Croweded Always will be. You wont find a better selection of bottled ice cold Beers anywhere locally except another Wetherspoons. Yes it's a Wetherspoons buts it's a Very inexpensive pub for those that like a drink.

If you like sticky tables this is the place for you. I asked a server if he could wipe my table and he said he didn't have a cloth. So if you are going bring your own damp jcloth

Thus is a busy pub in the heart of Brighton. The stag party I was with were welcomed and we had a good breakfast both days we used it. The food was good as was the service. Breakfast prices start from under £4 for a traditional fry up.

Absolutely fantastic food. Better than both the Marina and Churchil square Wetherspoons. Customer service is amazing with a fun and inviting atmosphere. Thanks for a lovely evening!

Great cheap menu and a drinks. Great selection of drinks and variety of food on menu. Each pub got different feel to it. Friendly helpfully relaxed staff. My favorite chain of pubs in UK. Plus they introduced they own app. Clean.

It's a spoons. But as they go the interior is pretty nice! No smoking area (just out front). Tables are really hard to get so usually have to stand in the evening. Staff are stressed, as per, but usually helpful.

Can't fault this wetherspoons. Staff polite and helpful. 6 visits in 6 days at different times and never a problem. Disabled toilets clean and tidy for a busy pub so really impressed

Unfriendly and desinterested staff, very filthy toilets and generally not the cleanest place. Food is good if you can find somewhere to sit.

Absolutely terrible, ordered food which came out wrong 3 times until was right, people behind us ordered something over 40 mins and still didnt arrive, just before leaving went to the gents which were out of order, so I asked a woman where the toilets were. She said upstairs which they wasn't as they were out of order. My father asked the same woman for disabled and she said they were upstairs

We had a meal here and it was good. Served promptly despite how busy it was. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Two things that made this place stand out against other pubs where we have eaten is the fact that they served my child's food on a cool plate, not burning hot, which is so often the case. They also provided children's cutlery which is never an option at other places. I would have given 5 stars if the gentlemen's toilet wasn't in a minor state of disrepair, with the lock broken and flush not working.

Food nice and reasonable but the staff need to pay more attention to customers waiting and speed up a bit

Since lockdown this pub has become a bit better. The staff are a lot faster. Food however is still hit and miss with chips often coming out cold while the burger is hot or vice versa. They now have plexiglass screens between tables to help towards protecting against corona virus. In the evenings there can be a long queue outside due to it only having limited tables inside. If you are a group then West Street spoons might be better as they have more larger tables but if you are on your own or a couple then here is better as they have more 2 person tables than the West St one.

Tuesday evening Steak Night at Weatherspoon, a regular treat but.......NO! No steak night, no steak on the new menu, is this the new Brexit policy? What next? meat free ? Maybe alcohol will disappear from 'spoons. I'm shocked, will it be Tuesdays at home or does Harvester get another chance?

Not particularly welcoming, dirty tables (cleaned ours myself!) and our steak and kidney puddings were hard and burnt on the inside! No children allowed after 8pm but no signs stating this so on ordering food at 7.30pm, were told to eat it ASAP when delivered at 8pm. We have been to lots of Wetherspoons across the country, this one is our least favourite.

No covid 19 control as people were going table to table. Had people just walk up to our group.

I love Wetherspoons, so maybe I'm not the best person to give an Egon Renay review, but table service, a lovely meal and a pint for £13 - how can that be beaten? Lamb shank - delicious, fruit salad - delightful, and all washed down with Hop House 13 - a very tasty lager.

Plenty of seating though I would like to see tables cleared as soon as possible to allow other people to sit at tables not sitting with dirty dishes etc on them.

Had a baked potato generously filled with roasted vegetables and unlimited coffee, just £4.80 great service and ordered using my Wetherspoons app. Such a lovely building. You cannot beat Wetherspoons for quality and value.

Cane here for dinner and had a group of guys smash their glasses on the first floor which covered my group, our table, food and drink in broken glass. The staff then swept the glass onto us again while clearing up!

Extremely busy, as Bank Holiday weekend, only 2 waiting staff on duty. Had to wait longer than usual in a wetherspoon but both staff were visible and working their socks off, well done.

Good meals and very reasonable prices around £8 -10 with a drink included, service was fast even when they were packed at Xmas. Definitely recommend using their app to order, you can go in find a table and order pay online and drinks then food turns up very quickly normally 10 mins or so and no queuing :-)

Great prices as usual for Spoons. £8 something for 2 double g and t's. Paid £12 for two singles in a nearby pub. Would be nearly 3x the price.

Although in a great mausoleum of a building and with the typical Wetherspoon drawbacks (the toilets are up two flights, and most tables are occupied by people nursing pints for the day) this place has improved, and the change has been made by staffing. More of them than when I last went (four years ago) and polite, smiling, and helpful. A complete turn-around.
