Great pub, and very old. Beer selection is great. The staff did very well considering everyone has to sit outside due to Covid. It was cold, but I'll blame the UK weather. 5 stars!

The Victory Inn is a pleasant, traditional pub in the centre of Brighton, a short walk from the Palace Pier. The tiled front is something to behold, while the décor inside more resembles a neighbourhood boozer. There's a fair range of hand-pumped ales on offer (there were 4 real ales when I visited, but two were off), and the barman was friendly. Limited outside seating on the street. Solid place for a quick pint.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, well adapted to Covid guidelines with spaced out tables and we codes to get table service. The food is fantastic and served quickly. Even the other customers were lovely, chatting about their dogs ????

Had a great roast there on Sunday. Chose the roast with chicken, beef and lamb and was really good. Great portion size too as not too little, or too much. Staff who served us were friendly too.

Historical pub in a great location - in the middle of shopping streets and just off Brighton seafront. Recently undergone a makeover inside which really complements the pub’s character. Limited space downstairs but two additional rooms upstairs. Good choice of beers, wines and spirits and a decent food menu. Had the burritos - which were really tasty, filling and good value for money. Lovely pub!

Booked a table for 2 here for my first pub roast after lockdown and it was amazing! The staff are amazing and friendly and the service second to none. Thats even before the food arrived, I had a beef roast & my son had a Chicken roast, it was late in the day as we where both at work that Sunday, but the food was still fresh and delicious. We where excited to try the Brighton famous crispy parsnip and we was not disappointed. It was great to be back in a pub supporting local businesses Dog friendly.

Extremely disappointed. I've been following these pubs on instagram for months and the food looked so good so was very excited to try. We booked in advance and were asked if we wanted food or drink. We clearly stated food. Due to arrive at 8pm but called at 5pm on the day of arrival to move to 8:30pm because my partners car had broken down, I was told on the phone that was no problem. We travelled over to Brighton from Hastings and when we arrived we were left standing outside while they struggled to find our booking.. We came in and was lead to the smallest table which seemed odd. Ordered drinks and was left sitting waiting for 15mins, we then called over one of the staff members and asked if we were able to order food to which he bluntly replied "food stopped at 8:30" I questioned why I wasnt informed of this when I called seeing as I booked in for a food table 2 days ago and also gave a courtesy call 2hours before the booking to say we would be arriving later and was told this was fine. Staff member then rudely replied "don't know, food stopped at 8.30" barely apologetic to to say we were let down after travelling 1hr 10mins to get there barely cuts it. I had a plan to try this whole pub chain as it is so beautifully advertised but the service is shocking would definitely not recommend

Very friendly and great atmosphere, fantastic Sunday roast but table booking recommended especially if a ground floor table needed. Ingenious location for disabled access toilet ???? This is a real old fashioned pub in centre of Brighton; sport and drinks in front bar, separate restaurant area and outside space/courtyard at back, also upstairs tables and toilets. Access a bit cosy, definitely a good idea to let them know in advance if you are coming with wheels so they can prepare. My new favourite pub in Brighton ????

Quaint. The vents toilets stink though. U-bend or not I don't think the urinals should empty in to an open drain cover.

Among lots of pubs in the South Laines there weren't alot of choices open late after dinner so we settled on The Victory. The pub itself is covered in beautiful green tiles and is actually a stunning example of a authentic British pub. Its could be a nice stop off on the way from the station down to the beach or as a part of a nice mosy (...pub crawl) through the Laines. Their on-street seating is a lovely alternative in nice weather aswell!

6 of us had lunch there, up stairs. We were greeted with a friendly welcome. After ordering our meals, we only had to wait 15 minutes for our meals, which were varied lunches. The food was hot and very good. and one thing I noticed, the toilets were spotless! All in all, a good experience. We will definitely be visiting again. Harry Atkins Bn24jl

A Great Brighton landmark built around the time of the battle of Trafalgar. An original pub that hasn't been buggered around with. There's usually an imaginative range of ales on tap. Knowledgable staff too.

Nice little neighborhood pub, with a nice pub atmosphere. We were looking for some good dark beer, but Guinness was all they had. Sorry UK, but Guinness is just not that good. Thin and bitter...

Had food, had to wait about 15 minutes, which is brilliant, as it means it wasn't just sat waiting for a customer! Food was fresh and piping hot! Will definitely recommend and go back!

It's an old fashioned type of pub which is all well & good but it could do with a bit of a clean. We had a meal which was surprisingly ok & we ate it upstairs but the room was boiling hot & the windows do not open so it was unpleasantly warm.
