This pub is a gem hidden down a side street so you almost need to stumble upon it, but what a find! Recently redecorated and looking smart inside and out, they're delivering delicious Asian street food from their kitchen and have a good range of beers on tap. Also, they have seating outdoors and can provide more on request so you can make the most of these Covid times! Winner!

Really nice pub with a high outside capacity (cerca covid19), have witnessed a street party vibe whilst passing. Wish they had a better beer list but no blue moon on my date of visit. Not the best menu re: beers, but many fan favourites. LOVELY interior, recently re-done and I'm super excited to come inside!!!

Great recently refured pub. Have kept a traditional comfortable and cosy vibe but has still incorporated the benefits of a refit like nice toilets! Food looked and smelt amazing and was reasonably priced, but we only stayed for a few pints... Hope to come and try the grub soon!

I really like this pub however I am exempt from wearing a mask because they cause me huge distress and I nearly had a panic attack because they forced me to wear a mask. Thankfully my table was right next to the door so I just held it in front of my face. But it was very traumatic and I won't return.

Cosy pub with benches outside and a room for hire upstairs. Has a proper pub vibe, with out being too "old man-ish". It manages to be feel cosy with out being cramped, and is great for meeting one friend or 6. Upstairs has slightly more fairy lights and funky decor. Looks are clean and functional. Patrons are a mix of young hipsters and older alternative types. Staff are friendly and polite, including security on the door. It might sound daft, but I loved the cobwebs on the candelabra.

Great place for Sunday lunch. Selection of 4 meats plus two veggie options. Generous selection of great veg plus a massive Yorkshire! Amazing selection of beers served in a relaxed casual atmosphere. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Very good Thai food which was good value and good selection of beers. Friendly staff. Only reason I didn’t rate it higher was that the toilets, while clean, were not in a good decorative state with graffiti and made the pub seem a bit rough.

Bar staff are extremely rude, I suggest you invest in customer service training for your staff. We can appreciate that tables may be reserved at busy times but communicating that to other customers in such an unprofessional way reflects on repeat business and future recommendations.

There are so many good pubs nearby to go to, just skip this one. The drinks are a bit expensive, the chain pub advertising a bit annoying, the decor ruined by the pictures and the toilets a bit grotty.

Great thai food served by most lovely people, amazing and so delicious roasts on Sunday.
Great selection of beers and wines ( they have a lovely NZ white - my fav ????)
Cool and nice staff, always helpful even when super busy.
Loads of place inside and a perfect end of summer ( or any warm day) outside space.
We love it there ????????????

I came to this quaint pub for some Thai food and I must say I was not disappointed. The Pork Chow Mein Noodle was amazing, with some nice vegetable garnish with some very respectable prices and lunch deals. Will be returning fairly soon!

Music is too loud for conversation. Prices are standard which is to say too expensive eg £12 for two G&Ts is taking the Mickey regardless of how fancy (or not) the gin is. What happened to pubs? They used to be placed to be social and part of a community in.

I LOVE this place! The best Sunday roast in Brighton. I have been to many other places and nowhere gives you the same treatment. The bar staff are super friendly, take their time to talk to you, tell you about the different beers and ales. Perfect sun trap in the summer cannot wait to finally make the most of it when the weather shows up! Its a home away from home.

Homely and classic vibe. Excellent customer service very accommodating, professional staff. Excellent kitchen on sundays had the smokey burger perfectly seasoned packed with flavour and great value for money. Compliments to such a superb pub, my friends and I left very satisfied.

Great Sunday roast we have been several times. Great menu and the staff are so friendly and helpful. This pub is Dog and children friendly. Sunday can get busy but a must :)

Went for a Sunday roast, my daughter was shocked it was it so was quiet, 4 tables 3 of which were already eating. The place looked unloved and a bit dirty, empty bottles on the floor, playing 70's disco CD on repeat. Stuff congregated at the bar eating. We had ordered two roasts a side and a glass of wine. Another table came in shortly after us and ordered after us. We sat there observing how the place needed some TLC listening to the same disco track more than once. 40 minutes in the table that came in after us was served their food. We asked where ours was and got a confused response, 'I have just started, are the till broken again?' We were asked what we ordered as there was some food there. Didn't fill us with confidence that it would be a fresh meal, so asked for a refund. Have them the card receipt, offered cash, asked for the refund on the card, 'I don't know how to do that', it was quiet a kerfuffle as not offered a full refund. Meanwhile food was brought down, mostly a nice shade of dark brown. Conclusion, refund for food only in cash not on card. Staff have no clue what they are doing, disengaged zombies in a pub that was.
