Great little boozer.. warm feel with friendly staff with a good selection of beverages, tables inside and out, have not tried the food but looked and smelt good, place has a garden and more seating upstairs.. definitely worth a visit

Big emphasis on the vegan and vegetarian menu but the ales were average condition and non vegan. I'm a meat eater but if I was a vegetarian /vegan I would be a bit disappointed in the beer range,unless you like keg lager

I have always enjoyed my time at The Victory. Great staff, great food and great music played. Personally I have never encountered any problems getting in with my friends. I have only ever seen them turn away lairy groups of lads, hens and stag parties...and that's why I drink there. Cracking atmosphere in an area of Brighton where there are plenty of bars for groups of laaads to go....

Good selection of beer, friendly service, and pretty decent food - the burger was quite good actually.
Also there's a cozy upstairs.
Atmosphere isn't quite what it is in some other pubs in the area though - definitely a bit more old-style boozer.
