Across the Weatherspoons empire is a blanket ban on non-assistance dogs. So don't expect a review from me or my dog owning friends. We will be in the better, more welcoming pub just over the road.

Waited an hour and fifteen minutes for my food, however when it finally arrived it was good pub grub.
Cheap pints and usually friendly staff.
Not terrible for a wetherspoons, but I've definitely been to better.

We were disappointed with our sirloin steaks for the following reason. We like our steaks medium rare. To achieve this you have to a have a certain thickness. Our steaks were too thin. When steaks are too thin you cannot grill to achieve the perfect pink and juicy appearance and it wasn't very hot.

Typical spoons in Hove...quieter than its counterparts in Brighton...busier at breakfast time than evening it seems in my short stay in the area. Good value and good staff that I encountered.

Could do with an up grade, chairs not very comfy. Tables seem to be sticky. The staff seem very pleasant, unfortunately they maybe very pleasant but what they do falls very much behind. Tables are not cleared or wiped, it's very much DIY for the customers.

Comfy local, some places you sit are too dark. Front windows aren't letting light in enough in to the back parts of the seating and dining area. Staff are always superb and environment relaxed.

Enjoyed a great pint of Bottle Wreck Ale while charged my phone. WxSpoons is one of the few pubs with mains you can use.
4-stars because they’re a bit understaffed but the prices bring it back up to 4.6.

Great Wetherspoons. Food consistently good. Polite and always pleasant staff. Interesting mix of locals to listen to and maybe chat with - a place where lots of talking takes place. Good selection of local Sussex real ales, at very reasonable prices, normally at least 5 specials available, alongside the regular beers. Small seating area outside the front, in good weather, on George Street.

The only reason I'm giving one star rate is because of the asian (filipino) waiter he's so rude and unprofessional it should be fired straight away I guess they losing customers from his behaviour disappointed apart from his behaviour everything else is good

The staff are psychopaths, they abuse their power to kick out groups of well behaved people that criticize their genuine faults. Really strange considering the terrible behaviour we've witnessed in there before. The main aggressor is some yellow lanyard wearing assistant manager on a power trip that refuses to give his name to the group of 8 he kicked out for one person pointing out that another member of staff had got their order wrong in the past.

Another nice and relaxed Wetherspoon pub in bustling George St. Good pub food with some well kept ales. Smoking and seating area outside with non smoking area. Very wheelchair accessible throughout.
