Went in today 19.03.19... myself and my daughter had an appointment after 3.30pm was calm....all staff members are brilliant. They bend over backwards with their customers. Without fail they all made me and my daughter giggle! The young girl who has been at the branch just over a month helped me choose my glasses - she was lovely and well spoken. (Meeter/Greeter I think).Thank you to the 'young looking' lovely lady Bhanu, as soon as I went in she served straightaway, loved her mannerism as I overheard thanking all the customers for waiting. Happy with this branch.

Superb advice and honesty. Try to see Deep, the audiology practice owner. He was understanding, patient and honest during a microsyringing appointment, and did not charge me for the first having asked me to continue with drops and return in a few weeks. Booking process let's Specsavers down due to lack of consistency between phone and online.

Good choice of frames and good customer service. The prices are very reasonable. If you're driving it's very easy to find parking in the car park, £2 for an hour and very close to the shops. It's in the old shopping centre and not Westfield. If you're using public transport it's very easy too. Ryan helped me with my frames and he was very helpful so ask for Ryan.

The opticians who do the eye test are great. Not so sure about the service: I came to pick up my daughter’s and my glasses, they wouldn’t give me my daughter’s as the child has to be present, which I totally understand but it needs to be told in advance. I work full time and don’t live in Stratford so I don’t have the luxury of strolling there every day.

The Service was ok getting my eyes tested but to return to get my glasses, there not as attentive to you when you get your new specs, they normally fit the glasses on you and ask how they feel, but because of this Fakery that's going on they don't want to come near you, but isn't it them that have to travel to and from work? There is too much of one nationality working in there is there no equal opportunities anymore, I will not be going there again, this store is for their people's not us.

No where near as good as it was when it was around the corner. Some of the staff who moved round are still very happy to help and go out of their way to help, except they look tired and drained and not the happy souls they were at the old one. Please treat them better. They deserve it. There seem to be more frames except there seems to be far less choice.

This specsavers is honestly the worst specsavers I've experienced. Their waiting times for booked appointments when you arrive are always long and delayed. The worst thing is, they dont keep track of your eye tests or contact lenses - on two occasions they forgot to note that myself and my partner had contact lens checks and therefore, our lensmail orders were cancelled without us being notified. When I complained, they said that my optician 'forgot to tick a box' to continue my lensmail being delivered. This happened twice. So glad to be moving out of the area so we can find a new specsavers.

I finishy eye test the optometrist told ok i will bring you to the front to loom for some frame and I will. Send someone to help you out, I looking at the frame they finish with one lady that was before me, when I thought someone will come ask me like they ask all the walk in that came in and got service before, at last I was like let me ask the guy who was there, his answer was let me finish with her because she was first and and. That's the answers I got. When I said but I was here before and you guys have been helping 10 people before me when I'm standing here before all of them. Bad but bad service.

I had an eye test by a lovely woman named Maryam who informed of diseases affecting the eyes and told me my risk factors based on genetics and she was beyond helpful and very reassuring. I came to collect my updated lenses and was seen to by a lovely woman named Milena, we had a good talk and she told me about what was new with my glasses and she was very well spoken and lovely to interact with much like the other staff I have met at this branch.

I have rang in regarding my prescription and spoke to someone who says she’s Brenda, I have told her about the situation I was in and that I needed to get the prescription today urgently, i have explained to her I can’t attend in person as I’m not locally around and that by the time I come in it will past your closing time, she have replied well “I can’t give to u over the phone, best I can do is post it out” I replied sorry but that’s not gonna work for me as mentioned is there anyway I can get it today, she replied nothing I can do for u, only thing can do would be to pass your details over the manager and IF HE HAS THE TIME to do it today it’s up to his discretion that’s the most I can do. I asked is someone gonna ring back to confirm if I’ll get it today, Because I will be in a lot of trouble if don’t receive it. She replied, WELL U WILL know the answer by end of the day by checking your email whether you receive it or not, then she hang up. I have never been spoken to in this passive aggressive tone before, I can not believe specsavers hire such Unprofessional staff to work for them.

My experience when getting my first eye test Specsavers was great. Customer service was impeccable. When picking out a frame, the staff helping us, Milena, was especially polite and helpful. I have yet to collect my glasses and hope that I am treated with an equally-as-good customer service during my next appointment.

Had a eye examination a month ago and optometrist said I needed new lenses. I waited over a week for my new lenses and when I went to pick them up they put distance lenses in instead of reading lenses. I took them back and they supposedly put reading lenses lenses in and guess what the lenses are so blurry absolutely disgraceful. Staff was so rude and NO apology. I am over 60 so I get a free NHS eye test now I have been told if I go to another opticians I have to pay myself. NO way I am going to pay for the incompetent staff who did my eye test. I am going to speak to OCCS and go through their complaints procedure. Specsavers you have not heard the last of me

I was greatly disappointed with specsavers, the chairs in the waiting area very dirty. I gave 2 stars as the Opthamologist was professional. There was no choice of glasses to fit or go behind the ear, therefore I had no real choice. I was told to come back as they would have a new arrival of glasses. I returned and still ended up without the choice needed. I won't be going back to Specsavers again, since wearing glasses this has been the place that I have shopped.

This branch is terrible, absolutely appalling! I emailed customer service a very long detailed complaint because I was unable to get through to the store manager and after many months of unbelievable service. The culture in this store is diabolical. Like a school playground. Messy, unprofessional, slow. They lose your glasses, they have a long wait (3-4weeks) to receive a new pair which in comparison to other branches is ridiculous. After my complaint email, head office sent it to the store manager who surprise surprise called me! I was promised a new pair for my son which we got within a week! He promised me a second pair as a goodwill gesture and I was told it will be in on 27th dec and I'll receive a call to let me know it will be here. I was clear on understanding I should not call, they'll call me. Today is 9th January. I called and enquired to be told that there is a huge delay (surprise surprise!). When I said the manager ordered me a second pair and she took my son's name, she went on to 'check'. Oh, well guess what, the glasses are in store and i can go pick them up tomorrow after school. I managed to get my other child an appt and new glasses in another specsavers branch within 2 weeks and the service at that branch, whitechapel, is AWESOME! Learn from them!

I definitely recommend anyone not to go there unless you want to waste your money. They made the wrong spectacles. I can see worse than the ones I had before with a lower prescription. They checked the eye prescription they made for me and thy said everything was correct. I have a very high prescription so it is very important to be correct. I came back many times asking them to do something and they would look at me blindly without even apologize. I ended up never using my glasses because I can’t see.

The Manager named Fizan is literally carrying the store on his shoulders - if it wasn't for him, this review & stars would have went very differently. Although my purchase experience did not go well, the way he handled it in the end left me feeling positively. I originally ordered my glasses in store 4 weeks ago (12/10/19) and was told to collect 2 weeks after (28/10/19). Initially, I had my doubts when proceeding with the purchase - the prescription they stated after the test was significantly higher than I expected/wanted (also had Conjunctivitis that same week which I was treating, but I am guessing slightly affected my eye test performance results negatively). I also explained my situation (where I work on the computer screen everyday 9-5, and do not require extremely strong lenses to see far distance). In the past when I purchased a pair here before, my eyes experienced stinging/burning/gritty in an attempt to get use to the new glasses and immense focus on the screen, and I really wanted to prevent that from happening again this time round (as I just accepted it and beared the pain that time, and I genuinely feared it happening again because it was excruciatingly painful) I am sure some staff noticed how afraid/anxious I was when first walking in the store looking to buy new ones. Even after explaining this, the optometrist was still reluctant to lower the prescription. The shop assistant told me to give them a try and assured me that after my purchase if I had any issues, I could come back for help, so I trusted him and bought the glasses. I collected 1 out of the 2 pairs of glasses on the 28th (the other pair not ready which did upset me a little as it was the main one I would be using), but I was fully understanding and accepted that delays from the warehouse naturally can happen, and the shop assistants told me to come back next week, so used the 1st pair for the time being. As I predicted, I started to experience the same sensation from the past with the intense burning/gritty eyes again at work which severely affected my ability to work and so I thought that I would bring this up at the next week collection. Come next week (07/11/19) I came to collect my 2nd pair and address the issues with the 1st pair at work, but was then again told it is still in 'process' and to 'come back' after. As you can imagine, its been close to a month now and this was the turning point to where I became unhappy, gave up and requested a refund, but was instead told by the shop assistant to come in on the weekend when the manager would be in store. On the weekend (09/11/19), I received a phone call that my 2nd pair were finally finished and available for collection...Now naturally, as a person I am very calm, collected (I do not raise my voice at all and always treat others with courtesy and understanding), it feels like they took advantage of this and treated kindness as weakness, and that led to my decreased customer service and treatment because I was not one of those people that kicked up a fuss about things and shouts, which is quite upsetting. Even though they were now within arms reach, I had that annoying feeling of disappointment of how some staff handled it (not all)-not only in terms of delayed delivery, but the initial lack of human emotion and disregarding of my past painful eye experience that I feared to likely happen again. I requested a refund and spoke to the manager Fizan. I explained my experience and he was empathetic willing to compromise to put things right. He explained the situation on his side with delays in deliveries from warehouse which resulted in my delayed order, but admitted this was not properly communicated to me and does not justify the staff's treatment/lack of understanding of customer's point of view. He issued the refund right away after exhausting all options, but if all staff members were as understanding and had the ability to empathize like him, things might have went differently.. My only advice would be for Fizan to recruit staff that have the ability to empathize like him.

Very good service, super pleased with my appointment. I was seen by Norani Lucas for ear problem. I went in for wax removal, she examined me and adviced not to have my wax removed (as there was none). She explained to me in detail what my problem was exactly and how to best look after my ear. I appreciate the fact that Ms Norani was honest and caring about my promblen and didn't charge me for a service that I wouldn't have needed in the first place. Thank you

A great place to get your eye problems sorted out. The service and staff were brilliant when I came for the eye test on 10/11/2018. They did 3 different tests by three different staff. They were caring, very polite and served me well. My glasses, being verifocal would have taken 2 weeks. But when I spoke to the manager, he promised to have ready on the 19/11/2018. I came in to collect and they were ready. Wow, no excuses or disappointments. ????????

There are more staff than customers. It took 4 people to do one person's job. Also the rude, snotty behaviour is uncalled for. The staff need to get off their high horse and actually listen to customers to deliver anywhere near a good service. Because right not they are far from it. Fix up.

Having had a disastrous experience in the East Ham Specsavers, i returned to this store with my elderly mother for her eye exam. A complete contrast to the service we received at the other store. The staff and management were very accommodating and more professional than our previous encounter. I would highly recommend this store not only for their professionalism but their modern testing equipment, is seond to none.

Free eyetest with a voucher! Can't complain. Would definitely return and pay for subseq Friendly professional service without the hard sell as you get in competitor stores. Only thing that lets it down is the cost of some of their premium lenses aren't as competitive as some of the independents. If they price matched then would get 5 stars.

arrived on time for my appointment to be told that I had to wait 20 min??? also they said I had to pay for my test even though I had a free test voucher. I was intending to buy varifocals which would cost over £300...they lost a customer for £20...
