Helpful and nice staff. Helped me find a completely new style of glasses. Was also given a contact lens trial where I was taught how to put my contact lenses in by a very perfessional staff member who put me at ease.

Over priced and they tried to rob me with coating extra £30, where's superdrug or elsewhere coating is offering free with the glasses. Try other places you will see the difference. Ripping off customers by Specsavers is not acceptable .

When I came to the store, I was welcomed with a smile by Rhys and sumaiyah they were friendly and approachable, the whole team was excellent from the optometrists nuara to the staff especially tyisha and Laura they helped with the pricing of the frames, I definitely recommend Surrey quays Specsavers to everyone.

I made an appointment for a hearing test. When I turned up for my pre-booked appointment, they had no record of it. So I made another appointment. Then I had the test. When I went back they had lost my test, so I had to have another test. Throughout my second hearing test the audiologist was humming to himself, which I felt could have affected what I could hear during the test. Last week I contacted them to ask if I should see them or my GP about the fact that my hearing aid is faulty, but no-one rang me back.

Pros: Easy to get an appointment Cons: EVERYTHING ELSE. Ordered two pair of glasses, one wasn't delivered but nobody notified me. The pair that was delivered, is faulty. So, I have to go back. No communication regarding anything despite taking my phone number, address and email. AVOID.

Had an eye test there the other day after being lef down by specsavers peckham. The test was ok. But the staff in the shop all need to be sacked. They are lazy and could not be any more unhelpful if they tried i no idea why anyone would employ these worthless people. Don't what going on with specsavers they seem to let anyone use their brand.

Bad experience - both my children were seen by Fatema (I think I have the name correctly) and it seemed it was a race rather than an eye test. I didn't trust the accuracy of the test. I had a test in Boots previously on the 1st floor and the service there was much, much better. I won't be going back to specsavers.

I broke my glasses on the plane home and went into this specsavers- the service was excellent from start to finish - I had an eye test with a really thorough optometrist ( as a GP I’m a tough patient !) and then was assisted in picking a new pair ( again not easy as I never think glasses suit me ). My glasses were ready later that day so I got a new pair and had a nice lunch round the corner! Would highly recommend this specsavers !

The staff were far too busy to put any care into the service provided and the eye test was very poorly conducted. The results were so different to what was expected that I got 2 second opinions which both matched and disagreed with what specsavers found. Had I not questioned the results I would have been using a bad prescription from this store.

I went in for an appointment a week and a half before leaving the country for the indeterminate future and was extremely clear about my time constraints. The staff recommended I make the appointment and told me that everything would be done in time. When I went in to pick up my glasses and to have the secondary contact appointment, the staff had neglected to put in the secondary appointment, meaning that I paid money for a service that they ultimately failed to provide and had no ability to cover. When I requested information on my temporary contact lens prescription, they refused to give it to me. I have no problem with the customer service aside from that, but I ended up wasting 20 pounds on the lens appointment and am quite annoyed with them.

Rubbish service, very offhand. Boom, bam, thank you Mam! They also ramp up the charges for everything they possibly can, and the public can't get to the bottom of it. The technology used us so antiquated that the spectacles seem made out io coke bottle bottoms! I'm sure they are not made in UK. To get ''normal' thin lenses, that don't bruise the nise, it's an extra charge! I don't pay elsewhere. Was it not in my local shopping centre I wouldn't use thrm. Elsewhere they seem pretty reasonable, it's just this branch!

After numerous terrible experiences at this store i returned in hesitation. The store was busy as usuak but seemed like the staff were in control and were apolgetic for the wait advising on how far behind the clinic was running. I was ha ded to what seemed to be a senior memeber of staff whom listened to all my needs and took into consideration what i wanted from my glasses. I felt she genuienly cared and wasnt just trying to sell me the mostbexpensive items i the store. I have always been recommeded to have varifocal lenses but have been put off from previous experiences at the store . The young lady put my mind at ease assuring me that if there were any issues i could come back j to store and deal with her directly. These glasses have been the best glasses i have ever had and i am so happy i went into the store. Unfortunately i didnt get to see the young lady when collecting my glasses as she was away but id like to Thank Tyisha you are an attribute to the company. Also the other memebers of the team thank you

The slowest, most disorganised, completely useless Specsavers I've ever had the misfortune of visiting. I've needed to go 5 times in the last few months, and every single time I'm seen 20+ minutes after my appointment time. Once you actually get seen the service is fine, but getting to that stage is hell. They never answer their phones, and on this latest visit I had to wait an additional 45 minutes because they had fitted my lenses incorrectly - something that they could have told me prior to the appointment. Appalling!!

I’ve been using this store for 3 years now, and aside from the odd very helpful and attentive staff member, the service has been pretty consistently terrible. From staff members refusing to adjust my glasses and telling me that is just how they were - hanging off my face pretty much (I after went to specsavers in Peckham and they adjusted them perfectly in five minutes), to constant errors with my prescription and file details. Recently I went into the store for an eye test in which my prescription actually got better. I ordered a new pair of glasses and the helpful staff member assured me that a note had been made so that I would receive the right contact lenses, as wearing an incorrect perscription was bad for my eyes. My three months of contact lenses arrived as the wrong perscription, I was nearing the end of my last pair and heading on holiday so I took a pair of the old perscription with me for emergencies. Upon calling specsavers to see if they could order me the correct perscription for when I got home they told me that as I had opened the box I had to wear three months of the incorrect perscription as they could not return the contact lenses once opened. Considering I pay considerable money to specsavers regularly and trust these guys with the health of my eyes they are providing a terrible service in terms of eye care and customer service. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has had the issue of a perscription changing and been sent the wrong contact lenses, so why does such a crappy system still exist?

Ordered lenses last week and came today to collect them but they have no record of it. They said the person I saw before was not in so I would have to come again. Other branches dont even need to order them in which takes 3 to 5 days. Overall I feel like Ive wasted my time with this branch.

Well I did orginally gave a 3 star review but after a few more visits, if I could, I would not even issue any star. Will never ever recommend this optician to anyone at all, I had an issue with my lences and I went to the store at least 4 to 5 times and told them about the issue I had, they never sorted it out and was left fuming when a so called assistant manager would not give me a refund because I selected a lence which showed to be tinted but was not properly tinted? This was my fault? I expect staff to explain if it may look different or not. Trying to sell and get that bouns, it all about the money and Specsaver will not denie it! Sales, Sales and more sales! Forget the customer, just rob them blind! Even dealing with issues properly and I have had enough! Honestly do not spend your money here, after my experience I warn anyone to go to a good, well reviewed independent opticians, these large chain franchise stores do not give a damn and will do what ever they want, they are like a factory, just make and sell, no real customer support and when I did eventually get to speak to manager... It was to little too late... The damage was already done and I wish... O DO I WISH I had never gone to this store. Specsaver, a place where the lab techs don't give a damn about your frames or the staff that do very little to help. At the end I eventually got a refund but the manager was trying his best not to give me a refund and wanted to help me out... I didn't want the support anymore, I was annoyed and after 1 hour in just talking about the problem, got my money and left... wow this was an experience I will never forget and wish no one to have.

What a bunch of nobs, seriously. They told me 30 minutes wait for them to underwire my glasses, so I went shopping, came back and waited about 10 more minutes. 40 or more in total. They charged me £10, and when I walked outside the shopping centre the lense fell out. I returned, and the woman at the desk said there was nothing they could do, it would keep happening because the lense was chipped, refused refund or discount, and I left a very unhappy dissatisfied customer. Went upstairs to Boots, straight away, even though they were busy, they took my glasses into the back room, fiddled about a bit, got the lenses back in, and didn't charge me anything. I waited maximum 8 minutes, and the woman was lovely, she adviced me the fix wouldn't last long, to be very gentle with them until I could get a new pair of lenses/frames fixed, with no charge, no rudeness, no sass or weird belittling looks. Should Never Go to SpecSavers. They don't know what they're doing, I don't think the desk staff are even trained in the basics of glasses repair, and their manners with me were horrendous. Why are the people fixing your stuff in a "lab", faceless and out of sight? Desk staff were unhelpful and frankly distasteful. I hope they close down and go broke. If you want terrible service, to be looked down on and treated less than human, and to over pay for basic things, then by all means go to SpecSavers. However, I wont ever be going there again. Horrendous staff, horrendous service. And to be honest, not the best facilities I've ever seen. Zero stars from me. Black listed. £10 blatantly stolen.

Every time I have to make the unpleasant journey it just a headache. The staff are so incompetent its unreal. Even trying to give them a call on the phone is a major hassle. I personally wouldnt recommend them if you are looking for a opticians.

I will never use this store again. I visited in early summer to get new specs, and I am still awaiting my second pair to be delivered - messages do not get passed on, they don't come back to you, there are continuous delays and the staff are disorganised and vague about how they can help.
