Very busy and one of the optometrists had called in sick today but the staff were pretty good. Contact lens check felt very speedy and rushed but at least my eye health was checked. She didn't say there were any problems, so I assume all was well.

Busy and brilliant in short! I've been a customer here for over ten years and although I now live much further away its the only opticians I trust. Where they excel over other branches and opticians is their first class customer service. Tom the owner/manager has looked after me so many times after I've broken glasses, and has gone out of his way to help well beyond what you would expect from a respected chain. Great prices and helpful staff make for a really important experience. It's the only place I tell my friends to go.

The young man and woman who tested my eyes we're fine, she also helped me choose and pay. I ordered two pairs. However the after care was very different, I picked my glasses on Saturday, two weeks after my eye test, where upon the young woman who got them for me was rather insistent wear them at top if my nose even though I don't usually as I have an injury there and it's to painful for me to wear them in "the correct position "according to her. I also told her the lenses in one pair didn't seem as good as the other . Her advice, just try them. However after wearing both pairs they both have same problem, on one side the screws are to long and this makes them sharp, i returned to the shop three days after picking them up, to be told by some young girl they are standard screws and she could fix them if I want ?. I walked out of the shop with out them being repaired, as I fully intend to take both pairs back for a full refund of £570 . I expect better service than that I don't need to be told after a very long day at work they can fix them if I like. Also I put up with this problem before from them with my previous order two years before, having to be careful not to injure myself on shoddy workmanship.

Don’t waste your time - this is the absolute Burger King of Opticians! I purchased two pairs of glasses early this year which have been repaired twice due to the lenses being cut so badly they warp & pop out of the frame - such is the poor quality/fragility that I can’t leave my driving pair in the car. When the same issue began happening for a 3rd time I called the store, spoke to & manager & an exchange was agreed. Upon visiting the store however the “senior” manager said “no” - cue calls to Specsavers the company itself (the stores are all just franchises) & assurances it would be sorted quickly (when you can actually get to speak to someone btw, which is not often, the phone mostly rings out). More than a week (quickly?) later I got to enjoy a 2nd round of time-wasting with the belligerent manager who insists the “lenses are totally solid, we’d have to heat the frames to get those out” - cue me applying about the same pressure as you do when cleaning them & bingo!! out pops the lens… Manager - “Ohhhh you don’t want to do that!” (Thought I was living in an episode of Only Fools & Horses for a millisecond) So, like I arrived I got to leave Specsavers yet again, wearing a 4yr old pair of glasses from another Optician that although showing signs of wear & tear have never given me any cause for concern. Why I didn’t return to them for my recent (appalling) purchase has proven to be a grave error of judgement on my behalf it would seem.

I am disgusted by the service I received from specsavers Victoria store today especially after speaking to the store manager Sanai, I called to get an EMERGENCY appointment as I ended up in A&E after having dizzy spells and collapsing due to my eye sight and new prescription. I called and asked for help getting an urgent appointment or rather say begged for help and she didn’t want to give me a same day appointment and didn’t even want to help or offer any advise, I asked her to check any other stores as I really need to see someone urgently and she said “I can’t call them for you, you have to call them yourself” I asked her multiple times what I should do and she could clearly see I was panicked and distressed and needed urgent help and didn’t even offer any alternative. I am now left with no appointment no glasses or contact lenses, severe migraines and dizzy spells and no help offered from the store. Disgusting behaviour and service from the manager, I am shocked that I just came out of hospital due to issues with my eyes and was told to get urgent eye check up from the hospital and the store refused to help me or get me a appointment. WORST service I have ever received and can’t believe that somebody could refuse to give someone help when it’s a matter of urgency. Health issues relating to eye sight is not a joke and I would expect the store manager to understand how serious this is.

We had booked eye test for my son with Specsavers , surprisingly it was next day availability. Everything was very professional . Place was fully equipped with all COVID related protection, test equipment was clean on front of us . Test was free under NHS ( under 18 ) and we also go vouchers for glasses . Unfortunately in this store it’s not such big selection so we didn’t found anything:(

Ongoing problems in-store and via telephone. Lenses have been sent to my family address multiple times now despite being a collection customer and being told this would stop on two occasions. Have spent the last 40 minutes on hold before reaching an advisor twice only for the call to be immediately cut off. Currently got a backlog of 12 full boxes of lenses but advised previously that I could not pause my lensmail unless I did it for 6 months. Waited in store for over an hour for my appointment last year and was ignored by staff. Was asked to return for a follow up appointment with a member of staff who didn't read the notes and asked me all the same questions as the another staff member the week before. Lenses changed and I was charged additional costs for my direct debit without any notification whatsoever. Save yourself the hassle!

I had an appointment today and was appalled at how this store is run. I was told that I would be seen shortly but was seen 30 minutes later than my appointment time. I was told to wait outside the store because only a certain number of people can be in the store at a given time. There was a line of people waiting behind me who also had appointments. This store is extremely busy and the staff look extremely stressed out. I can see that everyone is trying their hardest but instead of focussing on the volume why not focus on customer service? The ophthalmologist and the team were very kind.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I’ve had check ups, ordered lenses and glasses and they’ve always been great to work with. They can get pretty busy but their staff is very attentive. Relatively large selection of glasses for a small store. I would have liked more options of petite glasses to fit my face.

This Specsavers is terrible I'm sorry to say. Staff always seem too busy and stressed to the point were you feel like you are disturbing them when you call them or when you visit the store. Everytime I order things, they never call me to tell me when they have come in. Instead I have to chase them all the time. The customer service here is really appalling and it literally feels like market in there. I will be leaving soon as I get my next order of contact lenses and switching to an opticians that actually cares about their customers. Very very disappointed.

We popped into Specsavers and within 10 minutes we had replacement lens ...compliments of Specsavers. Fantastic service and a lady who’s name we didn’t get could not have been more helpful. I can’t fault the service. Specsavers staff are always very welcoming, professional and attentive. The only problem is with their internal database and the inability to access returning customers eye test results if the eye test was done at a different store. They have a good selection of glasses which run from a range of prices.

I’ve been visiting this Specsavers branch over the past 2 years and I have always had a great experience. Kam is a highly trained optician and is very helpful, he has great attention to detail. The branch has an amazing range of glasses and I can always find what I want. The floor staff are very helpful with choosing a new pair of glasses and giving a great customer experience.I recently broke a pair of glasses that I brought from Specsavers and the within a couple of hours they fixed my glasses. I would highly recommend going to Specsavers in Victoria.

Been using specsavers for since 2012, last used Victoria branch and bought some glasses there. A few months later I called to ask my pupillary distance to buy some prescription raybans, and got a response that said they don't take it, except when buy glasses and that was that. really unhelpful, no help, advice or alternatives offered, came off the phone a little shocked.

I write this review from the Eurostar on the way to Paris with my family... a train I was only able to catch because the folks at this location went absolutely above and beyond to get my son’s glasses prepared in time. As an American, I was so pleasantly surprised at the process of having my sons eyes checked when we discovered he might be nearsighted. We were leaving for Paris two days later they did everything they could to make sure that we made the train. So impressed at the effort all around. Bravo.

Absolutely terrible after sales service !! We were told our glasses would be sent by UPS to France, twice by different people, but they don't offer this service? So we now have to wait weeks whilst the snail mail arrives sometime in the future, The original sales person, has left 3 weeks after our appointment, so does not fill you with Confidence that things will be OK. Just apologies and no action or recompense for our delayed period of receiving the glasses . Basically sorry, but that does not work or acceptable!

I'm not impressed with this branch. I was told that I'll have my new contact lenses after I received a text message from them and I paid £30. A month has gone by and I have no news about it and I complained to the staff about my issue. Three months have gone by, THREE MONTHS. I still have not received any updates on what happened to my contact lenses. It turns out that they didn't demand any shipment at all! I know this because I visited the shop again and they told me what happened. If the man who was responsible for this was in the shop, I would've complained about it, I have every right to because he gave me a false promise and he was very vague about the delay of my contact lenses shipment. However, it's a woman who helped and she was very informative about it. I don't think it's right for me to be angry at her because she's not responsible for that. I would've given 1 star for this but because of her, I'll give 2 stars instead.

Specsavers Victoria provided me with a wonderful service and were recommended by my father. They were very efficient in getting my glasses prepared for me as they were able to finish them within a week. The customer service I received from them was outstanding and I felt like they really took care of me. The two men who provided that service were Antonello and Said. Would recommend this Specsavers to anyone who needs a new pair of glasses, top notch.

The employees here really make this place great. This is a small Specsavers in a very busy area, so it's often incredibly crowded, but the staff are remarkably diligent in getting everyone served quickly and correctly. They've also been great at patiently explaining my options and helping me find what works best for me. I've probably dealt with 6-8 people here over my visits, and from eye exams to sales they've all been exceedingly helpful. I really can't rate the staff here highly enough.

The staff here are friendly, sadly that doesn't equate to a good place to buy glasses. A catalogue of failures including two broken pairs of glasses, (by them not me) and a wrong prescription, (which they later changed) means I would avoid this specsavers like the plague.

I walked in on a lunch time to book an appointment and was served by a very polite member of staff who was able to book me in that same day, later in the afternoon. The pre-eye test was easy and later the optician was extremely pleasant and professional followed by more help in choosing my new glasses and with a 2-for-1 offer reduced my outlay whilst gaining the two pairs I need. The whole process is to be commended from start to finish and I thoroughly recommend this shop and staff, plus my new glasses arrive in just one week, fantastic.

Nice people in store but very annoying payment structure for direct debits. They charge you via direct debit months before you actually receive the contacts. Why not just charge me £90 5 days before I receive the contacts? Or better yet send me contacts each month?

V disappointing. Had to wait too long to be seen for preliminary screen despite having a timed appointment, other walk in customers and phone calls were dealt with before me, then I had to wait again for the actual eye test. The chin rest on one of the machines was dirty - brown/black gunge all over it - and I had to ask for something to clean it with. Time wasted meant I didn't have time to choose glasses, and by this point I was so fed up I left with my prescription and will get new glasses elsewhere.

I went there to have a new pair of glasses done, thinking they are alright. Everything went fine, they have finished the glasses in a week like they said...the only thing is that I have tried them on and after a few days they have gotten really loose and started to slip off my nose when I was reading, bending over, looking down. I went back to specsavers to get them adjusted...besides the fact that the girls there were really rude to me, one of them broke part of the plastic frame, returned them to me like that, saying they were already broken (keep in mind that I've just had them for a few days). I spoke to another employee that fixed the broken frame and adjusted them, they seemed to fit ok. I went home and the next day they have started to loosen up again! I wrote client services because I didn't want to go back to the shop and be treated poorly, but I was ignored everytime to this day...

Paid £308 for my varifocals for them to be having a cracking noise every time I move my face or touch the glasses,took them back after 3 days and was told that someone would give me a call after talking to the lab,no call and communication back,I’ve decided to go back to the shop,the very same person that took them and told me that she would call me back on monday and didn’t,didn’t even apologise,I know her name,just not going to mention,just told me oops I’m going to go downstairs and get them from the lab,result,oh ,the glasses still have a cracked noise,she said,they are much better,I’ve paid £308 ,don’t need much better,need 100% eficiente,I’m giving you my hard earned £308,one of the Directors came to me and offered a free designer frame,but no apology still,I’ve told him to keep his frame and give me my money back

Highly recommended. Friendly and caring staff. I recently decided to opt for contact lenses, having had a bad experience in the past I was extremely nervous. My fears were quickly put to rest, Amar was kind and understanding, he demonstrated contact lense technique with clear and concise instructions, he was encouraging and patient when I was struggling and after several attempts I achieved my goal. I returned today after my contact lens trial feeling a little more confident and comforted by the fact that I have a great team caring for my eye health. I’m thrilled that I no longer have to carry glasses with me everywhere and I can read the smallest print with my contact lenses. Excellent customer services also received from Tom (Thomas) who went above and beyond to help and Kam - an kind and understanding optician. The Victoria branch is often busy but the staff always find time to be kind and caring. 5* customer service. Thank you.

I'm 49 & this is the first time I've gone to buy a pair of glasses. The service I received at Specsavers Victoria was very friendly, professional and they really took care of me. The wide range of glasses allowed me to pick two pairs that really fit nicely and one of those I got for free because of their buy one get one free offer; their eye tests (normally £22) are is also free when purchasing glasses in the same visit. In the end as a result of their various offers I saved £107 & with the anti glare for both glasses costing £60 I ended paying £159 in total which isn't bad for eye tests & two very nice pairs of glasses both with anti glare. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a pair of glasses; great service & loads of frames to choose from.
