I just wanted to write the above & beyond service that the lovely lady called Shahida gives every time! It’s rare these days to feel fully satisfied with customer service and I really think she deserves a pat on the back for her excellence. I’m still waiting for my lenses but just wanted to make sure this was seen! Fabulous!

After 20 years neglect, I decided to get an eye test sorted and booked an appointment with my local Specsavers. I had a call an hour before to confirm I was still scheduled to arrive and asked about my previous eye health. When I arrived I was greeted by Said and had my test conducted by him. He guided me through the process and explained everything in great detail. I was extremely impressed by the whole service that the staff gave and came out an extremely happy customer!

THE WORSET EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD there are expensive rude and dont care about the customer - I paid for glasses that they never delivered and when I complained they refused to speak to me! they are a franchise and therefore there is no head office to complain to - when I called the shop the staff hung the phone up and then said they didn't know the name of the manager of the shop - unbelievable my advice GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE UPDATE on my complaint having phoned the head office and finally getting the manger Ahmed on the phone I got a FULL refund its a shame that the manger is LET DOWN by his staff so I thank him - I would never go to his store again his staff are horrendous

I have been coming to this branch for 12 years- I went in today for the first time in two years for an eye test. I called up every month to order a months supply of lenses, this month I was told that I needed to book an eye test before I could order lenses. Ok. The day of the eye test they called me to ask if I could come in earlier. I was unable to do they booked me in for today. ( I also received a call this morning asking if I could come in earlier). The four young girls working in there are highly unprofessional and chatting like they were on their lunch break at school. One complaining how her aunty doesn’t allow any shoes or slippers in the house only socks... . After my eye test I asked for a couple of pairs of temporary lenses whilst I wait for delivery of my lenses as I had none left. One girl delightfully informed me that it was new regulations and she wasn’t allowed to give me any spares. I couldn’t be bothered to argue as the lenses always arrive within 3 days. Right after paying I was informed that the lenses would arrive within 9-10 days. The girl knew that I needed lenses asap but asked me why I didn’t say I needed them quicker.This was done purposely. I said that I needed a few pairs of lenses as I can’t go 10 days without seeing.. the optician agreed that I could have one pair! Whilst putting the lenses in by the sink (the hand wash was 95% empty and it was extremely difficult to get any out!) I could see McDonald’s bags all over the floor. I suggest the manger review the staff as this new batch are unaccommodating, messy and unprofessional. The optician doing my eye test was efficient. I won’t be returning.

All precautions were taken to ensure my and their safety from the Corona virus Also impressed that although suggestions for my glasses were made, my choices were respected and I never felt pressurised to spend more than I needed.

They really care about every costumer and make sure to give their help and find out what we really need. They had sold out, with the new glasses, the problems I had. Many thanks to all the staff. I just entered in the shop and I was approached by a friendly gentleman. He asked me what I was looking for and he showed me what I needed. Very polite he invited me to the counter and I paid for my products. Very reasonable price and quality stuff. Happy with the process and staff members. Will be back.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced, I walked in to collect my prescription glasses. The manager looked me up and down and clearly decided that I was not worthy of customer service. A married couple walked in behind me and he chose to make a point of walking around me to address the male in the couple. First time I have been discriminated against for being in a shop without my other half, it was quite upsetting. The lady that did eventually serve me however, was very pleasant and helpful. I will not be returning in a hurry!

Poor customer service. Quite a long wait & disorganised queue management. The prices are (apparently) low but that is reflected in the service. I say apparently because when you start adding basic filters etc, the price is as high as any other high street opticians. Not recommended

Great service from start to finish. I went for my first ever hearing test and Mark Edgar the audiologist was fantastic, listened to me and explained everything thoroughly. Hopefully I won’t need to be back soon but I will definitely be coming to Edgware Road if I do! Maybe I’ll come for an eye test!

Terrible opticians, very unprofessional. I walked in the store and was greeted by a kind woman who immediately took me to take photos of the back of my eye etc. and then she sat me in the waiting room and said that the optician would see me shortly.... she then proceeded to approach one of her colleagues who was having a chat with the other staff. I heard her colleague loudly exclaim “ughh ITS NOT MY TURN. I JUST DID ONE, ITS YOUR TURN!!!” but nevertheless she came up and took me into the back. She asked me a few questions which I could see she was answering herself before I even answered, asked me to read some letters and then said that I had 20/20 vision, even though I know I don’t because I have glasses that make my vision 10x better.... it was quite clear she was trying to rush me out of the shop as it was quite close to closing time. I will NEVER be returning to Specsavers after this

They do sometimes forget they're being rude at times, but many people many minds. I think its just the culture. Many Halal and Delicious food. And of course Regent Park mosque not very far!

I've been going to some of the best opticians around the world for the past 37 years and I can safely say that have never met anyone as courteous, professional and efficient as Suhail, the branch manager. In fact, I can only find praise for the entire team at Edgeware Road. The technology used, speed of service and the professionalism is impressive, to say the least. I also very much like the sense of community and vibrant diversity at the shop. 5++. Should have gone earlier I suppose ????

very disappointed with the service at this establishment. I made an appontment for an eye test this morning and was booked in at 2.50 p.m. I got there a few minutes late and explained that this was due to traffic and I was informed by one of the team that I would not be seen to as they were fully booked. I was 7 minutes late and found this very disappointing. I took time off from work especially for this. I will certainly not be giving my business to Specsavers again.

Well the much awaited revamp has happened. It hasn't obviously increased stock capacity but the layout seems much improved. The displays are clearly priced from £25 upwards to £165, frame plus different types of lenses too and the lighting above the racks is kinder on the eye and the complexion ! There's a tablet desk near the entrance so you can check out the website to order in a colour choice or use the ' how would l look in these frames' facility. For those of us who are very myopic this is invaluable. You no longer have to ask strangers in store what they think or press yourself up to the mirror and squint at your reflection. Staff won't let you select an unsuitable frame for your prescription or an unflattering one. The aftercare is brilliant too. No matter what kind of clutzy things you subject your new glasses to, they're ready willing and able to put them to rights, which makes the initial heavy financial outlay on new specs feel less painful. Never be frightened either to delay your choice by writing down style reference numbers you like, then checking them on line later to help you decide. Don't buy under pressure. Ask about donating your old frames to a charity too.The cleaning and adjustment machine is now just beside the till so getting a quick spruce really easy.
