Amazing atmosphere with really professional and lovely staff who also happened to have a good sense of humour especially Miriam. She helped me choose the right frames for my face without rushing me and was very attentive to my requests. In a world where you can be anything be kind is the kind of vibe I got. Anyways please check out this opticians I’m certainly returning here.

Tremendous thank you to the team at Vision Express Oxford Street! To Iffat, Islam (Izzy) and Mohammad, (Granted I haven’t got out much) ???? but thank you to each of you for your wonderful personalities and humour. Each of you were superb at looking after me, extremely polite, efficient and patient. I haven’t been into Central London Since November last year! I know so because my Metal Poppy bag was still attached to my Jacket ???? Coming from Retail myself, I really do appreciate excellent service. At one point I was asked how was my day? I replied ‘Wonderful I feel like I’m at a 5 Star Hotel!’ I hope this gives hope to anyone who may not be looking forward to a visit for understandable reasons due to Covid. But rest assured you are in the hands of consummate professionals!! I love my new frames and can’t wait to collect my new Blue light savers. ???????????????????????? Bravo!!

The one star is for the opticians themselves, if all you want is an eye test they do a really good job. Nevertheless judging the location as a whole I would prefer to leave no stars but the option is not there.
Nevertheless, badly made lenses, an obnoxious store manager. There was a clear problem with the lenses yet when I complained, rather than making new lenses they tried to sell me a second pair instead.
Ultimately they couldn't fix anything but even getting a refund was a nightmare.
They don't need to identify you in order to do give you a copy of your prescription or your glasses, I guess anyone could walk in off the street and ask for them, however you want a refund or make a complaint and they make you jump through hoops to identify yourself even when they know who you are.
I actually called the police to the store to whom the manager at one point lied to about refund procedures, they ultimately couldn't help so I told them all I would not leave until my refund was made.
Although I eventually received a partial refund. It should have been immediate, not much later, long after the police had been called and left.
They should have offered to remake the lenses which were so badly made the first time rather than trying to con me by polishing the edges and pretending they were any different to the day before.At no point was I offered any resolution at all which is frankly disgusting when you are spending over £300.
PLEASE, PLEASE, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY....
AT THE VERY LEAST PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET YOUR ACTUAL LENSES MADE ELSEWHERE....

Needing a complex prescription, have been impressed by the high quality of care. I have used most of the high street Opticians, and whilst not the cheapest, standards here are high, staff are highly competent, and their communications have been spot on.

Very efficient, got everything done in one visit. Eye test, contact lense fitting and new lense fitting for my glasses (had to wait one hour, so went out and came back). All staff were really friendly and chatty, and price of everything was very good. Very happy with my visit!

I’ve been using Vision Express Oxford street for many years! I honestly can’t say how much I love these guys! The service, equipment and most of all the staff! They are all amazing. I go for my yearly check ups for contact lenses and two yearly for my glasses. I actually look forward to those days because I know my day will start amazingly well! The optometrist was good and professional. Two things annoyed me, firstly, 3 workers were chatting for 10 minutes while I sat there watching them. It felt like a social club. It wasnt a professional conversation - sounded gossipy. The conversation then finished and one of them pre-checked my eyes. Secondly, I didn't like the post eye exam process of going upstairs and being upsold things. I get it, you've got to make money, but it just felt a bit old-school.
Optometrist was great, but the overall experience was poor. Finally, there is very little information on the website that mentions a eye-sight test fee. I googled because I wasnt sure and finally found that it's 25 pounds, but still, I bet a few people think it's free, or think they qualify for an NHS screening, and get caught with a fee after their test.

I have always used Vision Express for my yearly check ups and find the staff extremely kind, professional and a joy to come to.
I would recommend anyone looking for an eye test to try out Vision Express.
The choice of frames are really outstanding and it is a joy to come to their Oxford Street branch in London where I always go to.

I had a great experience at Vision Express Oxford Street East!
I had an urgent contact lens issue that I needed to resolve, and decided to come to Vision Express, as my original optometrist is based overseas.
Zelal was very professional and nice, she listened to all my concerns and took her time to understand my situation. None of them were 'overselling' their products or services in my opinion.
I also had my glasses readjusted whilst I was there, and the guy also took his time to explain why my glasses felt a certain way when worn.
I would highly recommend going to Vision Express if you're looking for an optometrist in London. The store is clean and spacious, overall very happy with my experience there.

My eyes test and doctor were great.
But when I went to choose my new glasses frames I couldn't get any help, when I asked questions person which was with me seems to be not interested at all.
So I just went home, I will come back another time,maybe I will be more lucky.

I went to the shop with my puppy because he is too young to stay home by himself. I really appreciate how accommodating the staffs were. I had a very smooth and satisfied eye check. The glasses I chose in the shop can be made within an hour. I love this efficiency.
The store arrangement is very neat. Price of glasses is shown clearly and in ascending order. No more surprise pricing in the end.
I would like to make a special appreciation to Vicki and Sandip for my good experience in the shop.

I'm afraid your usage of delivery partners, makes is impossible to get contact lenses delivered, they always deliver the other side of London, as you give them the correct address and they change the post code. So I phone and explain, you insist on keeping trying to deliver. Then finally I get someone to listen and tell me that the lenses will be at the store for collection, I get someone to collect them for me and they're not there, they've been sent by hermes yet again, so I have to phone again, I'm told the lenses are there ready for collection, I got to collect, and guess what, not there!

My experience was outstanding they explain everything when doing the eye tests and show you all the pictures and explain how things are and what they look for if pay for extra test which I did, my assistant after was wafed he was outstanding great customer service he really looked after us, and gave exceptional service I have already recommended this place and wafed to friends As service great ???? I just can’t wait to get my new glasses but have to wait two weeks that’s the only disappointment but we differently go back here in furture

Had a very poor experience getting an eye test here. The optometrist was unprofessional. She rushed through the tests as quickly as possible without much care, and kept trying to sell me their contact lens subscription service when I wasn't interested. Stay clear from this place.

Had an awful experience during the whole process.. Bought prescription glasses in store and had to cancel the order after waiting for more than a month for the glasses. Apparently the delay was due to the lens supplier but absolutely zero communication from the store about the delay. Had to constantly ask about the status every week and the attitude was never to explain the reason for the delay but to quickly get you off the call. The in store experience was good but the post sale service is one of the most horrible I have ever received.
