Awful (lack of) service at the store yesterday. My friend and I visit to purchase a few items.... and we were on the 2nd floor for a while before we can speak to anyone.... even then it was forced service ! The two male employees arguing (in front of us) how understaffed they felt and that it was Managment problem. When one of them graciously decided to help us.... and he simply remained unhappy during the process. I took advantage of his moment of venerability and asked why carelessness ? His answer even more shocking .... they prefer to concentrate on local & repeat clients than tourists walking in and asking a million questions. While I see his point... this is also a proof how jaded some of those employees at such luxury store. The treatment was appalling .

Staff are really nice if you are going to buy something, if you are only coming to look then they really don’t care. I bought two pairs of shoes but the manager had to approve this as normally you cannot buy multiple items. Worth knowing if you want to buy a few items that you will require special approval. Items packed beautifully though.

Amazing staff, I got to the store after closing time when they usually close at 7pm!! I got there for around 7.10pm and I was met by a security guard who at first said they are sorry but now closed!! I explained that I was aware of how late I was but really needed to purchase the bag I sourced at the store after speaking to a sales associate who informed me of its availability and that I came all the way from Surrey ???? so they kindly let me in even though it’s not what they would normally do. They were very helpful and treated me very nicely. There was no rushing me and they took their time packing the bag beautifully before I paid and left. Would definitely be returning to this branch for future purchases.

Extremely POOR customer service. Staff are arrogant and racist. It’s funny that they question Asian customers like criminals but a large portion of their sales come from Asian customers. I’d be better served at a supermarket than a “luxury “ store.

A beautiful London flagship Chanel store. The woman who was helping us wasn't that friendly... but it seemed like a lot of other associates are so I won't write my review solely on here. It has multiple levels and the decor inside is just so beautiful. The selection is huge and they have another fine jewelry store right down the street if you're looking for that.

I suggest everyone who has a problem with the staff to take the time to really appreciate and understand the demands of working in a shop like this. Even to call it a shop does it a disservice. It’s an art gallery people. Sometimes I go in just to sniff the leather when they’re not looking.

I took my wife on her birthday to buy a handbag from Chanel Bond Street unfortunately the security guard shouted across the store “not to go in an area of the store “ there are no signs and it’s unacceptable to shout and speak to customers in that way
We left the store and my wife was very upset from what is meant to be a pleasant experience
It’s unlikely she will purchase from Chanel again

I needed a new foundation. At the beauty counter I was welcomed by Stephanie (Chan) who proved to be excellent at her job. Having wiped off my old make-up, she proceeded to artfully apply a primer and a foundation. I have blotchy red skin and find it difficult to find a foundation that gives adequate cover yet gives that no-makeup-look - my search is over! I learnt a lot about make-up application from Stephanie and was so pleased with the result that I ended up buying a lovely lipstick and eyeliner, as well as the primer and foundation. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

I walked into this store and saw a beautiful piece of artwork by the stairs, I proceeded to take a photo of this and the staff memeber told me to stop what I was doing. I told him I was only taking a photo and he responded saying ‘well don’t’. Very rude and unprofessional. Next time I will be sure to avoid him and not let him make commissions from me.

We were followed by a security guard who eventually informed us that we were not allowed to touch any items on display. This felt like an arbitrarily policy enforced by a prejudiced security guard. We left feeling embarrassed and upset.

Rude and horrible staffs!!!
The moment i came in the store everybody was welcoming apart from two ladies in the shoes department upstairs. I asked the staff if i can see the espadrilles, she replied to me rudely and the way she looked at me i felt like she was looking down on me. I have purchased many high-end stuffs before including chanel, but i have never experienced customer service this low level before!. i personally think i wouldn't want to spend money to a person who is talking to me like i am buying £5 shoes.

How come the manager say he can allow a Arabic guy to buy multiple same bags because the guy might have so many wives to give - and I am not allowed to buy a new season bag because I purchased another bag 6 weeks back and its unfair to other people to buy? I made 2 hrs of journey to the store after talking with advisor on the phone and got totally kicked off. And how they treated me was an insult. I am NEVER buying from them. Actually Chanel disgusted me based on the experience.

Horrible customer service! I would think that they would show you the bag before wrapping it?! The lady wrapped it and I asked to see it because I wanted to make sure. She then replied “Sure, but if I open it, I can’t wrap it again”. Um.. how hard is it to wrap tissue paper and tie a ribbon. Then after checking it and placing it back in the box. She took the bag with the box inside and dropped it on the table. Another staff member had to apologise. Excuse me! If a customer is spending thousands of pounds, I would think the customer service would be impeccable! Is this how the Chanel brand is being represented? I wouldn’t want to shop here again.

Not exactly smiling staff. Lots of staff hurging around to get items from the storage room to the mass of customers. As crowded, busy and noisy as any other basic streetware stores in the area. Do not bother.
