I have purchased three bags from this store in the last year.My last purchase was in January this year and I wanted to use this small bag for my brothers wedding.When I opened the bag I noticed really bad indented marks from the inside zip which you would not expect to happen or see with an expensive channel bag so I phoned the shop up and they told me to bring the bag back which I did and after over2 hours journey and showing the bag to the shop assistant she made a remark that it happens and there was nothing they could do.I had only had the bag a few weeks and never used it and for an expensive channel bag you would expect them to exchange the bag or repair the damage.I told the assistant that a zip should not damage the inside of a channel bag.I have had many high end designer bags and never experienced this.From channel you would expect a more expensive zip.They were so unhelpful and I felt if I had taken the bag back to any other designer store they would have been more helpful.They expect you to pay thousands of pounds on one of their bags then when you are not happy with a faulty they are not happy to look at it properally to put the problem right.Very dissapointed with Chanel and their service.

Not great experience, need a slot with member of staff to even touch a bag! Queue was long on Saturday, best go during the week. Staff were nice once I got seen! Bags far too expensive.

We visited towards the end of the day, and there was a queue 10 persons long waiting to be served. It was recommended we come in the morning as it is typically slow and less likely to have a queue. We browsed quickly, and the store was well merchandised. Minus one for the shoe display being unkept.

staff attitude. those are foreigner staff, they are speak in their language in front of customer, look down on you. rude. they dont want to explain about the product. feeling a hassle from the customer's question.

You definitely have got to wait to be served. And you gotta walk up to a sales assistant to let them know that you're waiting. If not, you could be at the store the whole day and no one will ever take the initiative to come and ask you if you need assistance. Bad customer service especially if you're buying a handbag and want the complete experience of shopping in a luxury boutique, you'll be sorely disappointed.

Very unpleasant and unwelcoming staff compared to any other Chanel boutique in the world. Basically, they will scan you up and down and if you don't look a certain way, say an oil tycoon's wife from the Middle East or an indiscriminate Chinese tourist with a wad of cash , they will brush you off so that they can quickly move into their preferred customers.

Service Was bad to be honest,,, the lady who assisted us started with (there are no bags in the store less than 3000£) which is completely untrue. I don't recommend coming to this store, go to Chanel in Selfridges. The service is much better.

My overall experiences in this boutique was good. The store was incredibly busy as it was a Saturday afternoon. I would not say that the staff were particularly welcoming or attentive; it seemed as though they each focused on one client and ignored everybody else. However, in Louis Vuitton they ensure that each customer is served in the order that they enter the store by having a very pleasant host stood at the door to welcome you and take your name to put onto a list on his iPad. I looked around with my mother before sitting down with a glass of water whilst we waited for our lovely assigned sales assistant to help me.
Back to Chanel: I made my way to the beauty section and purchased the new Coco Mademoiselle Intense - the lady here was very lovely, kind and knowledgeable about this new formulation without being patronising, hence why my rating is so high.
There is definitely room for improvement at this boutique in terms of customer service. Also, the floor near the entrance was quite slippery!

Worst service ever the staff look down on you as if you can't afford anything when I could probably purchase the whole shop! These staff need to remember they are serving us they are only sales people that work there they probably couldnt afford the things in there yet they treat us customers like this! Not on! Foreign staff are the worst for them the closest they are going to get is working in one of these places to feel the luxury I bet not single person that works there couldn afford a piece of chanel they are the peasants not us awful awful place staff are a disgrace to the brand and a bloody joke I'd rather travel to a chanel store in Singapore where the service is first class rather than deal with these morons. Pure arrogance you should be ashamed of yourselves!

Well true; they do full scan on every costumer, their attitude is terrible, i hate that too, and agree that in Paris theres so huge difference i cant even begin to tell.. I never go to New Bond Street boutique anymore.
But..... complains about waiting...
Cmon people... if you do NOT want to wait, better set up a meeting with one of the SA's and she or he will be only yours from the moment you step into the store..
On the other hand: its one of the worlds most famous fashion brand.. do you think if you just pop in from the street, you will have someone free for you in a busy time? Be creative: start browsing... or .. set up a meeting before you go there... or any other luxury store...
