The best piercer is Sophie! She pierced my daughter and I, we got some complex areas like the conch etc. so kind, gentle and unlike so many in her field not egocentric. So emphatic and freaking talented too ! Painless and beautiful results. Felt so at is. Our sales person was also wonderful and explained absolutely everything like piercing ears for dummies which is so reassuring.

I have purchased several pieces of Maria Tash from Liberty, I purchased a turquoise micro three jewel stud paying the extra charge to have my jewellery put in. The post supplied is far too short ( flat back disk ) It is far too short for my lobe leaving no room for swelling. Beautiful jewellery, but poor overrated service.

I had i really bad experience !!! I planed to buy 3 piercings and i was looking around to see witch one i prefer ... the stuff didn’t care at all , they where busy taking to each other ... it's feels like i need to run after them and convince them to help me . in the end i bought one piecing instead of 3 because they didn’t have the length that i needed in stock .... but it's not ending here , if i wouldn’t know that i need this specific length so he would sell me a piercing that is too long for my ear just because it’s the only length that he have in stock and he prefer to sell me this then not sell me at all ! it's not professional at all ! his job was to explain me that they have 3 tapes of lengths , and not just selling me what is current in stock .....anyways i had i really lovely shopping time in Liberty till this happened ...i think that this service is not suiting the vibe of the store .

It’s with regret that I didn’t go to Maria Tash Liberty first in order to get pierced. Thank you to the whole team for taking the time to look at my piercing done to Maria tash Harrods and for removing it because it was badly positioned. Thank you for re-offering to pierce me, it is with regret that I would not come but after the 2 poorly pierced piercings to Maria tash Harrods the cartilage of my ears needs to rest.

Sophie performed my helix piercing. She's a sweetheart...she explained exactly what she was doing. She was really thorough and careful about being sure to follow sterile technique. Most importantly, I didn't feel a thing. She told me to take a deep breath and the next thing, I knew it was over. Well done Love!!

When i bought the earrings i explained exactly where i wanted the two piercings. After I paid and went to get the piercings they told me they couldn't pierce my ear the way I wanted. They were super packed so they kind of rushed through and I felt pressured to get a piercing I don't really like since it's too close to my previous piercing. And yes, I specified that I wanted more space between them because I wear bigger piercings. Wouldn't go back there again.

I had a cartilage piercing done by Kevin about 18 months ago because my daughter was too young to do it on the day and it was shortly to be my 50th birthday! Unplanned but fabulous result.
On 1 Nov 2019 my daughter and I returned to see Kevin and the sales team. We had the best 2 hours sorting out what we were going to do and envisaging ‘projects’ for the future all initiated by Kevin and his colleagues!
I can’t thank them enough for putting some ‘pzazz’ into my ‘un-make up’ style at this stage of my life and for giving my daughter the pleasure of her first step into creating her own look.
We both are looking forward to seeing you all

This was the best experience ever! I must say I have been curious with Maria Tash for the longest time but was hesitant due to the other reviews of waiting times and 'rude' staff. But, from my personal experience I was able to get a beautiful Tash Rook Piercing without any problems.
I went to the London Liberty location on a Saturday afternoon to get a feel of the jewellery and a staff member approached me (almost instantly). I do feel I was lucky to be able to get attention so quickly as the store was extremely busy. The wonderful Henrietta, helped me choose my jewellery and get a brief consultation on position by on of the piercers. I was able to get the piercing done on the same day, and by the time I finished the paper work etc. approximately 10 minutes later I was taken to the room to be pierced by Nahuel. He was an ANGEL! He was very patient and I barely felt anything. It was just a slight pressure on my ear and now I have a beautiful piece from Maria Tash. They also give you the marker pen they use to mark the spot of the piercing. Meaning, they never reuse the same pen on different people, which just reassures me of how hygienic they are. Needless to say, I'm HOOKED! Definitely going back after this one heals to get more beauts on my ear :)

Pro: I’m really happy with my septum piercing. Staff were lovely. Waiting lounge was gorgeous. I gave a big tip (as much to persuade the piercing artist to go easy on me due to my fear of needles).
Con: my piercer did the piercing (ouch!) then said it was wonky and so I had to agree to be pierced a second time. So it was a worse experience and more piercing & healing pain than I was prepared for. I expected better.

4 weeks ago Eduardo at Maria Tash did my rook piercing which looks amazing... it was a sharp pain with lots of pressure which only lasted a second! I’ve had great compliments. I went back today to ask a few questions about when I could have my next cartilage piercing. The rook one is healing nicely so I opted to have my helix done.
Henrietta (well that’s the name on my receipt) was great in helping me choose between a white gold diamanté hoop versus a silver cobweb... I went for the hoop...
Kevin did my piercing and made me feel at ease. He showed me where was best to pierce aesthetically and for the best chance of healing. The piercing was quick and relatively pain free. (Rook is deffo more painful)
I love the look and can’t wait to come back at Xmas to get a conch piercing in my other ear.
Maria Tash is expensive... but hygiene, aftercare and classy jewellery puts you in safe hands. I like the professional feel of it.

Junior and Nahuel were both incredibly helpful and accommodating. I couldn’t decide on placement or jewellery as I had asked for something tricky for my ear but Junior was very patient and helpful. Nahuel is very gentle and reassuring and gave me a virtually painless helix piercing as well as some sage advice that I did not get from other piercing shops. Can’t wait to come back for new jewellery and more piercings as soon as this heals! ♥️⚡️♥️

Over rated and over priced I get my piercing less £20 in a professional tattoo and piercing shop I've watched quite a few videos on Maria tash reviews one thing I have noticed is that the sells assistant will show you were it will look nice etc but they don't seem to discuss the length, gauge and what metal is used of the piercing length and gauge is so important to know when it comes to swelleing you need to have a piece of jewellery that is slightly long and then once the piercing has healed you can change it to shorter one dumping customers into buying most expensive jewellery not a good thing

Kevin Lamb is a great piercer. He advised me on where to pierce my lobes (higher up and separated from my previous two piercings— we actually collaborated on the location). He had steady hands and I experienced very little pain— just a slight sting. Highly recommend!

When we entered the shop the staff was nice and we even got an appointment on the same day.
The problem is that the prices are way to expensive and it’s doesn’t stand anywhere. The only price tag we saw was, how much the making of the piercing was but nowhere how much the jewellery costs.
Of course we were shocked when the sails lady said we had to pay over £300.
When we then said that’s too expensive for us and changed our minds cause we’re only students, the sails lady looked at us like we said that we wanted the piercings for free. This is not okay for someone who should always put the needs and wishes of the customers first.
The price is way to expensive for some simple jewellery and especially if the price of this jewellery doesn’t appear anywhere!!!

I went to Maria Tash at Liberty for a consultation with my sore piercing (done at other place). I was really surprised how knowledgable and nice the staff was! They put me in ease and gave some good advice. They did not try to sell me anything, just genuinely helped. I was impressed and felt a bit sorry that I did not get my piercing done there. I would have been definitely more satisfied with their work than I am now with someone else's.

I have to disagree with other reviews. I visited on 23 August as a walk in and received great service. I had in mind the jewellery I wanted but it was out of stock, however, the lovely young lady on the counter offered me some gorgeous alternatives and I settled on a white gold star. She explained the procedure and reassured me and we discussed aftercare. She even advised on which piercing location to choose as I was undecided.
After choosing the jewellery I waited less than 10 minutes for my piercer, Kevin. Kevin was just wonderful! I was very nervous given it was my first piercing since having my ears done at 12 years old. In fact I was getting in a bit of a pickle. He was superb, talking me through every step and reassuring me. He took time to ensure I was calm and relaxed before proceeding. The piercing went well and I was given great aftercare advice by Kevin. We've since been in contact where he's been answering any questions I've had.
I'm delighted with the service I received, especially from Kevin. I'm heading backwards to have a shorter bar placed once my piercing heals some more and I'm considering a second piercing. Thanks to Kevin and team - you were ace!

I’d longed for a daith piercing for ages and having seen the jewellery at Maria Tash booked up. My piercer took the time to firstly advise on which piece would suit my ear shape, they really do curate the ear! This was done whilst calming my nerves (I was beyond petrified!!) as much as I love the end result I hate the process, in particular as I tend to bleed (a lot). There was no rush to get me out which I massively appreciated, though expected having come to Liberty’s. Can’t wait to book for my conch next time.

I was in London for vacation and walking through Harrods and ran across Maria Tash. I didn’t know who they were but started talking to Alice and she was awesome. She told me they were booked but I could make an appt with them or the liberty London location. I made an appt at LL since it was closer and I got to get my piercing with Kevin. He was awesome and very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. I had only had my ears pierced when I was a kid with one of those scary piercing guns. This was a much more pleasant experience. Thank you and I hope y’all open up a store in Atlanta which is closer to me.

Really terrible experience!! Most of the staff were very rude and condescending. Had an appointment but they never pierced me as they didn’t have any of the four pieces jewellery I was interested in, they didn’t even have them in a different colour choice. Honestly was willing to pay the extortionate prices but was so disappointed that they didn’t have anything in stock. Honestly how can they not have the correct items in stock, it’s an official shop so I don’t understand how they can have so many items out of stock?! Was really looking forward to this but was totally disappointed by the service provided.

Amazing counter staff helped me choose my earrings carefully and then Ruby took time to explain the procedure thoroughly, taking real care in where she placed my second lobe piercings and considering the types of earrings I normally wear. Very caring service and very reassuring throughout. Would definitely recommend getting any piercing here. Beautiful jewellery too. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I just had my septum pierced by Nahuel and it was great! Out of all my piercings it truly hurt the least, especially that I was so worried about the pain. He was quick, precise, and really wonderful all around. Explained the aftercare clearly and even showed me how to clean it. I’m so happy with the result, and the jewellery itself is stunning as well. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment, enough time to choose my jewellery and find the right size, and went in to pierce right on time as well as change an old nose ring I had. I would definitely recommend others to come here and pierce with him, and will probably be going back again for another piercing in the future! :)

I’ve never been pierced here before but The jewellery is absolutely gorgeous! Definitely investment pieces, but if you like pretty ears then this is the place to go. It is so easy to get carried away and spend a lot, specially if you have a bunch of holes in the ears to fill, but it’s so worth it! I was like a kid in a candy shop. Staff were very kind and helpful! Kevin who put them in was so lovely and gentle, I would recommend him highly! Thanks guys, I’ll be back x

I arrived 15 minutes before appointment and picked my jewellery. The man behind the counter was helpful and told me to take a seat and I would be seen soon. I was there for an hour and ten minutes before I was seen. I was not informed at all that the piercing was running late, no staff members came over to me to keep me informed as to what was going on. I had to keep going to the counter to ask what was happening and how long I was going to have to wait and they would say not long. Poor poor poor service, I was extremely disappointed and in hindsight should have just asked for a refund. However I would like to say David the piercer was amazing!! Jewellery is fab. BUT when you are paying high end prices you do not expect this kind of service. I am surprised that Liberty’s has not pulled them up on their shoddy time keeping, I feel it does not look good for them.

(15th April 2019) - I just wanted to edit my review to say that Maria Tash reached out to me (as evident below). I was able to explain in my experience and concerns in further detail, and felt that their follow-up was dealt with in a very professional manner.
I was helped by a salesperson named Daniela behind the front counter to pick out jewelry for a piercing I had scheduled at Maria Tash in Liberty London. She was rude and dismissive, and over charged me for my piercing (would not listen to me in terms of where I wanted it done and charged me for another area). I am in shock over the poor service and will never go there again. The lady who pierced my ear was lovely though, so it's a shame that Maria Tash hires such rude sales staff. While the piercing staff are absolutely amazing, I suggest going elsewhere and getting better service.
