Visited on a Tuesday afternoon and felt so welcome in the store! I had Maddie help me out with picking earrings. I'd just gotten two piercings done recently so I asked her for some advice with with finishes would look best to compliment the new piercings, and I ended up getting a mix of everything!
Felt so comfortable in the store, even when I was the only customer for a good 30 mins! Didn't feel rushed at all. They also do NHS discount in store which saved me ordering online! Thank you so much for your help Maddie <3

Had a super relaxing and efficient ear piercing experience (& extremely Covid safe!) with Alija. Shane then helped me pick out the best earrings for my needs and style! Would definitely go back & recommend to friends. Lovely interiors and gorgeously presented jewellery. i love the atmosphere that you feel when you walk into the Neal Street location. The floor staff have always been welcoming and willing to help you with any questions, to picking out what you wanted. The piercers I have had at this location have always created a professional yet personal experience. Damiano was so fun to have as my piercer this time around, he was wonderful help in choosing both earrings + helpful with a mistake on a previous piercing (don’t go to dodgy piercing shops, and don’t sleep on your new piercing!!). Overall, I don’t want to go anywhere else when it comes to getting a piercing, and I’ll miss it when I have to go home to Canada.

The BEST piercing experience ever! ...HUGE THANKS to Mariana, Harry & Ricardo for being so knowledgeable, wise, fun and for making the whole experience so special (with an epic Britney playlist thrown in!) Also thanks to the lovely Shane who answered all my pre-piercing questions, calmed my nerves and made me excited. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a kinder, more generous team... Who knew having a piercing could be this enjoyable?!

I had 3 piercings done here last week and it was a great experience. Beautiful interior, friendly staff, knowledgable and confident piercer who was very kind and patient with my nerves! Everything was extremely clean and well organised. They were very good at communicating about aftercare etc and have saline solution available to buy. No complaints!

I have had 4 piercings with Astrid & Miyu now, and although I don't live in London, I can't imagine going anywhere else. They are so friendly and so professional. In the past I have had major problems with ear infections and irritation from piercings, I was shocked by how quickly my Astrid & Miyu piercings have healed and how pain free the entire experience has been.

I cannot put into words how lovely my experience was at the Neal Street store on Sunday. I had my second lobes pierced, and was incredibly nervous (I often faint having procedures done and have been putting it off for years!). From the minute I stepped foot into the store, I was totally at ease. Lola and the blonde store manager (so sorry I didn't catch her name but she was a proud Scouser!) welcomed me, reassured me and were just like my friends. Riccardo my piercer was absolutely incredible and deserves a special mention. He spent so much time talking me through my options, I knew everything that was happening, I received excellent aftercare advice and was not rushed at all. He chose the order of my lobe piercings to allow me to lay down incase I felt faint, and was just so calm and understanding. After speaking to the manager, I understand that Riccardo is new, and I just want it to be known how incredible he is! I cannot recommend Astrid and Miyu enough, and have totally fallen in love with the brand. That team are the epitome of excellent service and genuinely caring. Thank you!! X

Astrid and Miyu is the ideal jeweller to pierce. Very friendly staff who will make you feel right at home. In addition, you also have beautiful jewellery that you can choose as piercing. And on top, you get a sweet afterwards :) !They will also give you a clear explanation on how to take care of the piercing. I think I will soon go back and choose another piece of jewellery! I honestly never leave reviews on websites, but I can’t be any happier about the service in Neal St. The staff is really helpful and nice all the time. I had my first two piercings done on the same day, and no pain at all! (The piercer is very professional and gentle).I had to come back over a week later as I had to remove them for medical reasons, and she kindly helped me putting the jewellery back and cleaning the piercings for me.
I was expecting a fee after all that but nothing at all!
Definitely recommend this place to everyone and coming back for my next piercings.

Visited this week to get my tragus pierced. Erica who did the piercing was really great. She explained everything fully and really put my mind at rest. She was super lovely too, in fact everyone at the shop was! Would definitely recommend and would go back again if wanting another piercing.

I would thoroughly recommend getting your piercings done here! The shop assistant and Ellie were welcoming and helpful and Damiano was professional, skilled, put me at ease. The shop has beautiful jewelry which means you can start enjoying your piercing straight away and Damiano and Ellie gave me helpful advice on the different styles.

We booked and went there, as we were 5 minutes late they did not take us, we booked the following week and as my daughter had a chocolate not a full meal before, they declined to do the piercing again. I would say impossible to get any service, no empathy...

Love LOVE Love Astrid & Miyu..... I live nowhere near these stores (I'm in Norwich) however i will only use Astrid & Mini for my piercings and jewellery!
I had 2 piercings last November and have only Just been able to get back to London (due to delightful Covid) to get my original piercing jewellery changed!
I dread to think how long I spent trying to choose my new jewellery I could literally wear them all!
Customer service is perfect, I dealt with the fabulous Harry this visit!
I will be returning before Christmas for more piercings... slightly addictive!

My daughter just had her first piercing here today with Damiano and Maddie. She says: "I had wanted my ears pierced for months, and I was feeling nervous but honestly more excited than anything. When I got to the store it was very clean and relaxing and they followed all the covid precautions. They had a whole range of beautiful earrings to select between and the piercer was very nice. It was all my choice when it was the moment to pierce so I was prepared. It happened so quickly and painlessly I had ask if he had actually done the piercing! The staff gave me lots of helpful tips for aftercare. I love my earrings and I would totally recommend this place for anyone getting piercings."

Went to get my ears pierced, such a cute store and the staff were so lovely and caring. The piercing process was very quick, clean and easy. My appointment was at 4:20 and I was out of the shop by 4:35! Would defo recommend :)

Had an amazing experience here today! Not had a piercing in many years and never had a cartilage piercing. Damiano was so calm and friendly which put me at ease a lot with my piercing and then Ellie was so helpful with purchasing some more earrings to go with my new piercing, couldn’t recommend it more!

Had a wonderful experience getting my conch and tragus piercings here. The piercer (didn't get her name - sorry! Petite blonde girl) was lovely, reassuring, and professional. She did my piercings with as little pain as possible, and kept me calm the whole time.

Ordered a necklace online and it arrived very quickly and beautifully packaged. I wanted a longer chain to wear my ring on so I could keep it with me while still being bare below the elbows and it’s just perfect! I love the beaded chain in rose gold as it’s something a bit different from the usual chains I had seen in other jewellers. The halo frames my ring perfectly and sits below a v neck line so I couldn’t be happier with it, thank you!

I was absolutely bricking getting my piercing done, but equally so excited too. Walked in Astrid and Miyu on Neal Street and straight away was greeted with a warm welcome and just the atmosphere of calm and relaxed. Popped downstairs to get my 2nd lobe and diath pierced. My piercer was Damiano who was great at answering all my questions, suggesting what jewelry would look best and putting me right at ease, especially as my eye sight is awful so I really did have to trust him to make it look right as I can't see to check the little dots myself. I was expecting it to hurt way more than it did and was so quick and simple. I didn't even know he had finished doing my daith! He was simply amazing! So so pleased with my new piercings. Then popped upstairs and got some earrings for my really existing 1st lobe, Harry was great and also helped me with some necklaces that I saw online and was looking for. Thank you Damiano and Harry for such a lovely relaxed experience. Would highly recommend you both and will definitely be back again soon.

She was really helpful in giving her opinion on what she thought would go well with my existing piercings. Got two lobe piercings done by Erica in October and they just would not heal. I have had many piercings done before and never had any issues with cleaning routines or healing times. It turned out that the plating on their jewellery is not of the highest standards and that it is definitely not hypoallergenic. I consulted with their staff upfront knowing that I cannot tolerate earrings that contain nickel or some other material. They assured me that both the gold plated and solid gold jewellery that they use is free of these materials. I opted for the plated ones. Plus, I noted multiple times to the piercer to avoid the cartilage area, but she still hit a bit of cartilage and soon a bump formed (which should not happen on lobe piercings). Staff was otherwise polite and shop was spotless, but I will neither come back nor purchase their ear jewellery again. For money spent I would have preferred higher grade plating for piercing jewellery at least.
Also, I did not appreciate their review policy. After getting my piercings done, they gave me a card that said you enter a prize draw if you leave a review. I feel like the reviews are not completely honest because of this.
Edit: As soon as I swapped my jewellery from and in a different shop for another gold plated pair (better quality I assume), both my piercing calmed down and felt healed within days.

The boutique store is clean and beautifully designed, with a relaxed atmosphere.
Jess did my piercing and she was absolutely brilliant - Friendly and professional. The staff patiently answered all my questions and soothed my nerves. My piercing was done smoothly and efficiently, over before I knew it! I love it and can't wait to book my next one.
